“The hotel 's location is great, in the center of Myengdong Night Market, so easy to go shopping.”
“This hotel totally has a good condition and price for staying in”
“This hotel is very good.”
“Have stayed here multiple times - happy to go back again.”
“Place is very accessible with the bus/subway stop just being 5 minutes away.”
“After more than 20 years of marriages , we decided to leave the kids behind in Australia and go for our second honeymoon in Korea. It was my first trip to Korea and I had booked Hotel Gracery Seoul. The hotel blew our mind when we first step in. The reception was on the 11th floor. The hotel was so clean , room was so neat and tidy. The staff were excellent, very accommodating. We stayed for 2 nights before flying off to Jeju. After that , we had to stay back at this excellent hotel again. I hope to return in the near future to this wonderful hotel with the whole family. Thank you Hotel Gracery Seoul for the wonderful memories.”
“I've visited Seoul a few times for business and after I found Shilla Stay, I always choose to stay here. I can't say this place(Guro) is good for transportation and travel, but at least it's not bad to approach many famous places in Seoul. Hotel is very close to the station(Line 2) and many good place to visit is on the Line2. (Shin chon, Myung dong, Hongdae, GangNam, ...) And if you like bread and want to visit famous korean bakery, you need to check [Days and Days] (데이즈 앤 데이즈 in Korean). There's a few place called Mecca of Bread and this place is one of them. Unfortunately, this place is not on the google map, but you can find it on Naver Map Application(this is also good to find other famous restaurants in Korea)”
“Location was 2/3 mins walk from Euljiro 1 Ga station which is on the green line (a lot of places are on the green line; ideal station to stay I feel!) and then it was 7-10 mins walk to myeong Dong which didn’t feel fat because of the shops you get to walk pass. Also, it’s abt 7-10 mins to eujilro—Ga also where there’s an interchange with another line. The hotel surroundings are also filled with food stores and kbbq shops. The staff were also very friendly and could speak English significantly well! The only thing is the room is really really small. Although it was a room of 3, the walking space in the room could only allow 1 person at the time. Which I kinda concluded most of the Seoul hotels are small, so it’s fine and value for money I guess. Cleanliness wise, the hotel was very clean!! Overall I had a good stay and will definitely come back again. Thank you!!”
“Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong is the best hotel in Seoul because it's a new hotel with good room rate. Free in-room wifi. $10 (each trip)Limo bus #6015 to & from Incheon International airport. Do not forget to inform the 6015 bus driver to drop you in front of KEB(Korean Exchange Bank)Myeongdong, where the hotel is just located behind this building. Hotel Lotte is just situated cross the street and Myeongdong shopping is just in front of this hotel. Hotel provides maps and customer service could speak good English. Lots of good Korean Restaurants just in front of the hotel or within walking distance. Most of the scenic spots could be reached by underground train and the station entrance is in front of the hotel too. Do not forget to stay in this hotel when you travel in Seoul.”
“We split our stay in Seoul into 2 locations: Myeongdong and Gangnam. I picked Dormy Inn Seoul Gangnam because of the free breakfast, free ramen, self-serve laundry facilities and convenient locations to where we would be visiting during our stay in Gangnam. We were really satisfied with the widespread breakfast. Food was delicious and plentiful with changes in variety. We found that by eating a big breakfast and the free ramen, we were able to save money on meals by buying one large meal a day at lunch plus snacks of course. Who can resist Korean street food and snacks! We did not try the onsen but we saw people using it when doing our laundry. Love the self-serve laundry! We had a 23-day trip visiting South Korea and Hong Kong. Packing less clothing and doing laundry during the trip saved luggage for souvenirs. Washing is free and a small fee of 2000 won for drying. The machine has specific settings for delicate clothing items. Despite small room size, we highly recommend this hotel!”
“Losir is actually a famous hotel in Seoul , specially their gd location in Myeongdong. Less then a min to Sunway station , which is just right upper the train station(Myeongdong) exit number 6 , 2-3min to airport transport station . Staff speak well English , and they have spacious room compare with hotel around there , have been stayed in ibis myeongdong , SkyPark myeongdong, and realise losir have the most spacious room . Bathroom have bathtub some more , usually they are quite pricey , but lately their price is always cheap , and worth to pay ! Shop , eat , transportation is all on ur foot Step ! Will definitely come back again !”
“The lotte Seoul hotel s one of the best location hotel in Seoul. You can walk to the main tourist points for example meindong ,numdaemun market ,chonggyechon, the palace. I think anyone who love shopping d love this hotel for sure. The hotel s next to lotte shopping department store and just cross the street for meindong shopping area. Other thing I like this hotel s so clean and good service.”
“We stayed at this hotel in January, which is a very cold month in Seoul. We chose this hotel as it is just above the Mapo Station and only a few steps from the exit no. 9. Also, we went to emart via exit no. 4 for shopping before we left for airport. You can also get tax refunds on non-perishable items at emart. Coffee shops, fried chicken stalls and eating places (even Korean beef) are just opposite the road. The interior design of the room is modern with shelves, storage, hangers and beds are all very handy with a feeling of your own house. This is the best hotel I have stayed after years of travel in Korea.”
“TMark Grand Hotel is the best hotel to stay in Seoul! Guaranteed! Lots of facilities, staffs were so helpful and friendly! Upon arrival I was so impressed how they upgraded our room to family room that it got more spacious! Breakfast was also nice. Location is excellent especially for shoppers as the hotel is just opposite the Namdaemun Market and 10-15mins walk to Myeongdong Shopping Center. Subway is just beside the hotel. It so convenient to travel. There is Plenty of nearby awesome restaurants as well so you won't get hungry. I love how Koreans are genuinely and naturally kind hearted people. I would definitely come back to this hotel in Seoul again next time! Thanks a lot TMark Grand Hotel! You deserve a fantastic review! Cheers!”
“I stayed at the St. Regis in Bangkok a few weeks before staying at L7 in Seoul. Let's just say I wish my stay at the St. Regis had been as nice as my stay at L7. The hotel is modern and sleek without trying too hard. The staff was kind and accommodating. The room clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The rooftop terrace lounge hit all points one should. This will be my "go to" hotel in Seoul and I hope to find other properties from this brand. I can't say enough nice things about it and I think that should mean something b/c I didn't have any special request or need - it was purely an easy stay in a solid hotel that totally met my expectations. (And while you may want a hotel to exceed your expectations, the St. Regis in Bangkok set a new bar for me in that I simply want a hotel to meet my expectations.) I will stay at this hotel again, won't even look elsewhere.”
“We stayed here for 5 days. The best of all is the hotel allow us to early check in at about 8am after mid-night flight and the kids are really tired at the time arrival hotel. We have checked their early check-in policy which allows if rooms available but with charge before 9am. However, at time of check-in, the hotel staff is so kind to tell us that they can arrange early check in for free if we enroll the hotel membership. We are so lucky that they have room available at that time and I believe it is special arrangement for comforting their guest. We treasured much the hospitality showed by the hotel. Also, the hotel room is big enough with enough space for luggage and to walk around. The location is very convenient near the attractions of the Hongdae and only 5 minutes walk to the metro. There is a VR game center on that building which the kids enjoy very much. All in all, it is a very recommendable hotel in Seoul which I believe we would like to stay again.”
“This is a new hotel recommended by my friend It was our wedding anniversary trip to Korea , the hotel has kindly upgraded us to a suite with the view of Seoul Tower and even wrote a congratulatory note with chocolates. This is very thoughtful The reception staff are very helpful and friendly, they can converse in English very well. The facilities of the hotel are really very thoughtful, there is lounge on the top floor to see nice view of seoul, with free coffee and water. Every floor there is ice maker machine and ironing facilities. The room I stayed are very clean and spacious (space is problem in most seoul hotel) so we choose this place due to its room spaciousness. The walk to myeongdong is about 15mins (not too far) which is perfect to be away from the noise yet convenient. The stay was perfect, i will definitely choose this place again when i go back to seoul!”
“We travelled in the countryside for several days before staying one night at the legendary The Shilla hotel in Seoul as a final night in Korea, a little treat for ourselves. It did not disappoint and we were pleasantly surprised with the views to Namsan and over the city with the sense of space and beauty. The rooms were elegantly understated but dripped of quality and great thoughtmanship with design and utility. The room was spacious and the window stood out as a piece of moving art with neat thick black borders enhancing the views. We enjoyed the luxurious bath, shower and clever toilet. What turned out to be a once in a lifetime experience, I hope will now mean several more experience in the near future. My tip is to go sightseeing around the markets, but check out the Shilla duty free first as you might want to make your actual purchases onsite. Also, depending on your room rate, access to the swimming pool may not be included (the Swimming pool is awesome throughout the year)”
“Very recommended hotel in Seoul. Moderate price with good value, located in city central, near subway (City Hall Station) and shopping area (Numdaemun) within walking distance. There are lot of restaurants around serving western, Japanese, Thai and Korean food. Though the personals can't speak good English, most of restaurants have menu in English upon request. Rooms and other facilities are clean. Only little hold backs are some rooms have views of adjacent nearby building and located on small road which is unknown by many taxi drivers. For the later points, print out hotel map with street names in Korean will ease the searching. Overall, great hotel for business and leisure travellers. Sure to have repeated stay here if come to Seoul.”
“I was in Seoul with my mum and we absolutely loved our stay at Nine Tree. We had previously spent two nights at the five star Lotte World Hotel in Gangnam because we were part of a tour group and had moved to Nine Tree after extending our trip to be closer to the shopping district. Less than a minute walk away from exit 8 of Myeongdong subway station and three minutes away from Sejong hotel (where you can take the airport bus to Gimpo and Incheon), it was really easy to locate. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and check-in took less than 10 mins. And even though it didn't seem like much from outside the hotel, I was immediately taken by surprise when I opened the door to my room. You can tell that that Nine Tree is a relatively new hotel, and while the concierge area was small, the modest 27 sqm family twin room that we booked was in fact pretty spacious (I booked it because of what I heard about hotels in Seoul—that they were cramped and small with not a lot of space for big luggages). Not only did the room cost around the same price compared to most standard twins of similar hotels in the surrounding areas, it far exceeded my expectations. There was a spacious area up the front with a bench cabinet where you could leave your large suitcase. The room was spanking clean with a direct view of Myeongdong (do remember to request for high floors if you like). The bed linens, bath robes and towels supplied were clinical. The hotel even provided a bottle of febreze for post-bbq freshness. As for the toilet, it looked as if it was newly installed and I could not find any traces of grime or dirt in or around the tub (I'm a stickler for clean toilets). And like Lotte, there was even a pillow menu from which you could pick out one you like for a good night's rest. All in all, Nine Tree is value for money, clean and a stone's throw away from all the shopping and good eats. What more can one ask for? Will definitely return”
“This is a great experience and definitely a merit in my first visit to Korea. Hotel location is just a street behind the Myeongdong main shopping area and along a main road, so you will not get disturbed by the noisy crowd, at the same time you will not be frightened by the quiet late-night street. Paris Baguette and a 7-11 is just a door access from the lobby. The Staffs are very friendly and approachable, when I request the front desk to assist me to call up a restaurant at N Seoul Tower to reserve a table for dinner, they did it immediately without a second word. The cleanliness in the hotel is also kept in a high standard, definitely comparable with a 5-star hotel. Room offered comes with a bathtub and bidet system. The room is well kept, toiletries and towels were replaced daily. This is no doubt my choice of hotel for my future visits to Seoul.”
“Its a great hotel to stay in, The locations is superb at that price. Chumuro station is a hop and a skip away. MyeongDong, namdaemun , kwanjang market all within walking distance! Only catch the Hotel, like most hotels in Seoul, during the colder sessions, the hotel normally controls the tempt at 25c. Hence even if we were to turn the aircon temp to 16c , its not going to work! Your better off opening the windows!' I notice a number of foreigner all asking the front desk the same questions, why is the air conditioning so hot! Another tip, ask for rooms facing the front rather than the back! Food wise, there are many great restaurants around the area. All within minutes of walking, ranging from the famous bbq , stem pork leg, chicken soup (non ginseng), dumplings, and ETC!”
“The hotel is located in a good location though it is in a narrow path and not visible to the naked eye on the main road. The nearest subway (train) station is Domgyo station. From there its about 400m walk but the entire walk is on a narrow stretch and would be difficult to find it at first. 3 supermarkets are very nearby. The hotel should improve on the facilities offered. The bath towels are very tiny and really unable to use for its purpose. They are just very small. Could be hardly used as a hand towel. There is only 1 lift available and it takes a long long waiting time. The rooms are small too but ve heard that is the case in all other hotels in Seoul. Overall it could improve a lot on all the smaller things it has failed to impress.”
“I had a memorable Christmas 2018 holidays and of course, Hotel Skypark Myeongdong 1 is one of the reasons. It has been a while since I visited South Korea so I was really excited. The hotel is in the heart of Myeongdong, the shopping heaven! Really, really good location I must stay! We arrived around 5:30 AM from the airport. Check-in time was 2:00 PM (from what I remember) and we didn’t booked a room for the day before since it was a waste of money and half of the day, we will not occupy it. We regreted it though since we were so tired and we just wanted to sleep first. There were no available rooms when we arrived since it was peak season so we stayed and sleep in the sofas of the reception. Receptionist was accomodating. In the end, someone checked out early and we were able to have a room— we just paid an extra. Their room is quite small though, which I believe is normal for hotels in Seoul. Facilities is good for a small hotel. Aside from that, they have a mini restaurant too near the reception. Not that fancy but its okay. There are nearby coffee shops for your breakfast anyway. My main problem in this hotel was their WiFi. The internet was really slow. I thought South Korea has one of the fastest internet in the world, not in this location though. Also, if you are going to take Airport Limousine or train from/to hotel, with all your heavy luggages, it will be a challenge since the tiles of Myeongdong is not flat. Expect also a lot of people since the area is crowded. :)”
“Pj Hotel is one of the best hotel in Seoul, it is very accessible to all (day and night) the staff of this hotel is very kind, surprisingly they know how to speak english fluently and aside from that they are also fluent in mandarin chinese and nihonggo which i know how to speak too... The room is very comfortable and clean' the size of the room is just enough for the two occupancy. I really love the view from their window =) i will still chose this hotel when i will have my trip to korea again =) more power to PJ HoTEl! See you again soon! And also thanks to agoda!”
“The hotel is hidden 2 blocks away from Grevin Museum (which locates opposite of Lotte Hotel Seoul). There are 3 ways to the hotel, from Cheonggyecheon Stream (from the back lane behind K-style hub), from Euljiro-1-ga Station (Exit 1), a short walk about 5 or 10 min and from the side lane off Grevin Museum. Decent hotel with basic facilities and amenities. Nothing to complaint for the price paid. The hotel is surrounded with alot of eateries and convenient stores. Finding foods never an issue. The only complaint I have was the "pillar" in the room (I booked the deluxe double) that blocked the walking space in the 24sqm room. Kind of weird. The hotel offers free shuttles to key business buildings and to shopping areas. For those who are heading to the airport, I would suggest to take the free shuttle from hotel to Seoul Station at 10am, 1230pm, 2pm, 3.30pm an 4.30pm (Weekdays) and 9.30am, 10.50am, 1pm, 4.20pm, 3.40pm and 7pm (Weekend). The journey is about 10 mins or less depending on traffic. Then head straight to AREX departure hall (Level B2) for the express train to the airport. The one-way AREX train ticket is 8,000KRW and the express train takes 43 min from Seoul to Incheon (every 30 min), 10 min walk to airport check-in counter at Incheon Airport). The airport limousine bus stop for 6701 (16,000KRW one way) is quite closed to the hotel, yet a distance for us to walk, especially with heavy luggages. The estimated travel journey is around 90 min, depending on traffic condition and also how full is the each limousine bus. If the bus load is full, you have to wait for another 20 to 25 min.”
“great stay !!! great hotel in seoul !!! great tips and we are stay many days in seoul . really we decided in the next trip to corea , come back to haytt hotel in seoul . near the city , great zone , great view, great amenities , great lounge , great parcking ... where ever you want , you have in this hotel ... really really a great hotel !!!”
“Look no others if u plan to stay in Seoul. Stayed in a 5 stars hotel in Myeong Dong for 4 days 3 night but couldnt beat ENA overall. Location wise very strategic, staff can speak fluent english, room size is excellent compare to price that you paid, cleanliness is 10/10, facilities is great and overall value for money. Nearby to Namdaemun Market, less than 1 km around 15 minutes. Don't shop at Myeong Dong as total ripoff. If u book from klook to Nami Island to travel by bus, the pickup point in at Sungnyemun Gate 5 minutes walk only. Eateries and 24 hours convenience store are less than 5 minutes walk and around the hotel area. Hotel even allowed early check in at 1 pm as long as you informed them earlier. Airport taxi is 80 000 krw from the hotel to Incheon, took around 50 minutes if he traffic is clear. Overall great experience with ENA Suite. Definitely my only choice if staying in Seoul. The room is big (Standard King), hot shower, heaters and a/c works like a charm.”
“New hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Nice view from rooms and roof top. Rooms are spacious and the bath tub is nice. A short walk to the fun area of Hongdae with cafes and markets on way. Negatives: The toilet is not smart. Stayed at 4 hotels in Seoul and each hotel room had a toilet that flushed itself and kept the seat warm. Was a minor let down. Also, is non smoking in all rooms and rooftop. Major negative. Especially for the outdoor areas. I cannot comment on pool area as didn't visit due to the additional charge to use the pool (and too busy out shopping and exploring) but would be crazy if cannot smoke at pool either. Overall was one of my best stays in Seoul and would certainly stay again. The front desk was very welcoming and accommodating.”
“Nothing to complaint about, and I meant it seriously! :) And I am going to talk about what is so good about it: a) Airport bus 6015 is just 100m in front, less than 5mins walk, trust me, no big deal with luggages (and you don't need taxi) b) Clean, clean, clean and modern new hotel c) Living in Myeongdong shopping street - food, shop, everything. Happening place. d) Subway exit 8 is nearest, to connect you to major places e) Size of room is above average size of Seoul hotels, and bathroom with everything you need Surely gonna recommend to friends, and will stay here in future.”
“This was the third time stay at Oriens for the past 2 years and I still feel I make the correct choice in choosing this hotel in Seoul. Although they have reconfigure the room for the one bedroom suite I booked, it was still a very comfortable stay for me . They have changed the one bedroom suite that come with a walk-in wardrobe to two bedroom suite, so actually the one bedroom suite is smaller now. The location of the hotel is between Myeongdong and chungmuro station. Quiet but walking distance to all the shopping area. Already booked my next stay in Seoul for next month. Enjoy my stay here with the friendly staff!”
“All the staff at Signiel was so kind than any other hotel, and the view from the highest building was very nice. Every place in Hotel was quite neat and clean, but it would be much better if they could have larger space. Room rate is pretty expensive when comparing with other hotels in Seoul, but it is quite worthy to experience this hotel if possible.”
“I frequently travel to South Korea and ave stayed at a variety of hotels. The Royal hotel is an excellent choice for staying in Seoul. It is located in the heart of Myeong-Dong, the city centre of Seoul. The hotel can easily be reached from the airport with Airport bus 6015 (10,000 KRW or 11 USD - exit at Eulji-ro ipgu). The bus travel takes about 1 hr and tickets are available in the boots near the bus stops just outside the arrival teerminal. Staff speaks English and credit cards are accepted. Avoid bus 6001, which comes to Eulji-ro ipgu as well, but is more expensive and takes 30 minutes more. Traveling by airport limousine bus is by far the best way to get from the airport to hotels. The rooms in the hotel are small, but clean and fully equipped. I found the room comfortable and enjoyed my stay. There are two subway stations near on 2 different lines. It is easy to reach most part of the city quick. The level of English in Korea has increased since 6 years ago when I first traveled. Although Itaewon district is still to be considered the place where foreigners can easily find their way, I find that Myong-Dong has caught up and many Koreans can speak a bit English here too. Excellent hotel at reasonable price. Following western system of stars for hotels I'd say 3+ stars, close to 4-star hotel.”
“This is without a doubt one of the best hotels in Seoul. In addition to its extremely convenient location, the hotel staff are the nicest I have ever met when traveling to Seoul, or any other part of Korea. The staff always try their best to accommodate the guests and they really made us feel special. My wife and I are always impressed whenever we stay here.”
“I highly recommend Roi House !! First, it is located at a hip area for mostly young people for shopping and many other establishments. While I am not as young as most of the crowd in Hongdae area, I still enjoy the area very much. Roi house is very near the exit #3 of Hongik University station. There is a nice park if you wanted to walk and sit for relaxing. While I stayed at the dorm room for females, I have seen the private rooms and they are beautiful and I believe they all have private bathroom and showers. The staff is always very kind. Kim is very hardworking and does a great job to keep the Roi House in great shape. Whether you are traveling or you just need a break from things even if you live in Korea, Roi House has that therapeutic effect to let you move forward while you enjoy what Hongdae area offers. :)”
“You are a 30-60 seconds walk (depending on the traffic light) into the digital beating heart of Seoul. An endless feast for your eyes is literally right around the corner. But it’s not SO close that the noise from the massive crowds of people make its way to the hostel. I originally planned to stay here one night because I didn’t have a fixed itinerary and wanted to explore the rest of South Korea. But then I kept extending my stay again and again and again because of the awesome entertainment and shopping within arm’s... no, elbow’s reach. Plus the owner is very nice and the place is clean and comfortable. What more could you possibly ask for? I would give this 10 stars out of 5 if I could. Highly highly HIGHLY recommended!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a few nights in Seoul and don't want to spend a lot on a hotel. Remember, it is a hostel, not a hotel, so don't expect luxury 5-star rooms with room service. The hostel itself is nice. It's very clean and kept. You check in in the basement floor where there is also a common lounge. I did not spend any time here but I did see other foreigners chatting and watching the games on TV (and from the sounds of it none of them knew each other) so I think its a great place to meet new people and make friends. The rooms are a bit cramped but that's the norm with most hostels. But it wasn't so cramped that I couldn't fit my own bags or stuff around, I was still comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helpful, whenever I needed something they always got it for me right away. They have basic necessities that you can use for free or for a very cheap price (like $3). Stuff like towels are free to use so you don't need to bring your own if you don't want to waste luggage space. I think one of the best aspects of this hostel is location. Location really should be a main consideration when booking any kind of hotel or hostel and this one does a good job of that. The hostel itself is located just about 5 minutes walking from the main part of Hongdae. It's great because not only do you get to enjoy all the shopping and restaurants close by but its enough of a distance that you won't hear drunk people on the street when you're trying to sleep. Kimchee Guesthouse has no curfew so there are a few people coming in late at night but I had no issue with other guests not being respectful. No matter how drunk they were they tried to stay quiet. Kimchee is also just 5 minutes from the Hongik University subway station so there is easy transportation availability. Overall this is a great choice for a hostel if you plan on staying in the Hongdae area (or Seoul in general) and I highly recommend it to others.”
“Good accessibility and quiet area. Many restaurants and shopping malls. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is big enough to open a 29" luggage. Highly recommend to try the stay in stay Seoul.”
“Good place to stay in Seoul. Close to subway station. Beginning hard to find the hotel. Maybe need to improve for clear directions about the hotel at website. The hotel located good location in Seoul. The staff were kind. Calvin (hope I spelled his name right) was so friendly and helpful and he speaks multi languages. He made my stay well. Like to return again when I am in Seoul.”
“From the check in, greeting with welcome beer. Staffs are very friendly and shared Korean dishes, it was so touching and delicious. In the common area many games like dart, billiard and foosball table, video game enjoyable. Local cheap beer with kpop music was awesome, easy to make friends in there. Art paintings even in the bathrooms, 3d feeling sharks and dolphins sleep together wow ! Room was very clean as well. Highly recommended place for the best travel, this hostel made my best travel and memories in Seoul. two thumbs up !”
“If you’re a solo traveler like me, I would recommend this awesome guesthouse for you. It’s very cheap and even it’s not very spacious but I don’t mind at all. The location is very near to a subway but if you’re a first timer here it will be a little confusing because it is located in a small alley behind the subway exit 1 at euljiro 3. This guesthouse is very clean and everything is provided here which includes shampoo, shower cream, facial cleanser . I just need to bring my toothbrush 😂😂 The facility such as hairdryer, computer, kitchen, refrigerator and so on is provided as well . But most importantly is the hot shower hahah as korea is quite cold . The internet is fast . I don’t get to know miss jo that much as we met once and just talk through the phone upon my arrival . But miss jo’s assistant mr.Dongki is very nice and it’s a pleasure knowing him . Very nice person and easy to talk with . But most valuable experience is that i made a lots of friends. Justin Malaysia”
“Kimchee Sinchon Guesthouse has the most friendly atmosphere that any hostel can offer compared to other guesthouses I have stayed on. The moment I reserved my booking from Agoda.com, I was contacted separately through email by their staff confirming my stay with them and offered assistance as to what particular need I may require prior to my arrival. Upon check-in, the reception desk is glamorously decorated indicating the place's friendly and vibrant atmosphere. I was well-assisted. She's the coolest and hippest receptionist I have ever encountered. Since I arrived earlier than check-in time, she offered me to leave my luggages since I came from a long flight to Seoul. She then offered me travel tips as well as transportation guides since it was my first time in South Korea. In all, Kimchee Sinchon is a place that can clearly meet one's needs for a place to stay and refresh after a day of touring around and sightseeing - a decent bed, shower and toilet facilities which are periodically cleaned. Oh, I might forget the cozy basement they've got. It houses the kitchen, lounge, dining, internet facilities, free Wii, laundry and the awesome dart game. You can definitely hang on the basement and meet other fellow guests staying in the guesthouse and make some new acquaintances.”
“This is my first time in South Korea, it is really lucky to have chosen such a nice hostel. The owner of the hostel is Mr Lee, who is a really nice guy, he even cook fast noodle for me and teach me some very useful korean sentences. Next time, when I go to Seoul again, I will still stay in is hostel! Give some advices to Lee: u need more sports!!”
“So I'm a solo traveler and I looked for an affordable priced hostel in South Korea. Luckily I found this Yakorea Hostel in Cheonggu District in Korea. The price is very affordable. I took the mixed dormitory type room cause for me what's the sense of booking a solo room when after all I'm out the entire day. And I love to be in a mixed room and so I can make chit chat with my roomates. So there.. The place is so great and most importantly, the Manager is very very accomodating. He's very charming and you'll really feel welcomed. I am very very satisfied with Yakorea Hostel.”
“I had a wonderful stay at the Cocoa Guesthouse. The staff are very welcoming and they engage in small conversations to make you feel at home :) The guesthouse is very clean especially the bathrooms and shower and there is an enough number for every floor. I went there during winter season the only downside is, it doesn't have centralized heating but they provide a heater for each room and the walls are thin you can hear the conversations of the adjacent rooms. “I can't rate this place highly enough! We had the twin room with shared bathroom. The room is small and basic but has everything you need, including a heated floor. The bedding is cosy and the beds are comfortable. Towels are included. The bathrooms were always available when we needed them, clean and nice hot shower and toiletries. The breakfast isn't extensive but it's ample for a basic hotel, you can't really ask for more. The location is also really great, walking distance or just a short metro ride to all the attractions in Seoul and it's really easy to get there from the airport. The crowning jewel of the place is the guy on reception (Sungchan Seo). He was unbelievably helpful. He helped us scan and print around 70 pages that we needed for another visa somewhere else. He did our laundry and he also took us to the post office to translate for us when posting off our visa documents, beyond that he also kept track of the parcel and messaged us when it was delivered (days after leaving Seoul). I can't thank him enough, he made our stay such a pleasure.”
“friendly staff, cheap and good service! free laundry service, provide towels.... I definitely go there again when I visit Seoul!”
“I was a little reluctant to stay at a Hostel but when you travel on a budget it is necessary to try new things. I am happy we did because we loved the Hostel. Of the six guest houses and hotels we stayed in during our visit to South Korea this one was the best one by far (and we stayed in a 4 star hotel during the trip). It is easy to get to from the airport line, the staff even sent a picture pathway documenting the easiest way to get to the guest house. The size of the room was good for our family of four. The washing machine was great. Location was great easy access to subway station to move everywhere. Close to the main streets where all the shopping stores, Hongik University, and restaurants are located. The room had a private bathroom, AC, lockers, and let us drop off our bags before checkin. All these helped to have a comfortable time in Korea. I liked especially that the place was clean and it seems newly renovated. The people in charge of the Hostel were very nice, helpful, and they speak English. I highly recommend this place. We liked it so much that we changed other reservations to return after we visited Jeju. When we go back we will definitely stay at the Hostel again.”
“It was great. We had a mishap with the reservation since they had no rooms available for some of the days we booked (site mishap) but mamas and papas staff did their best to accommodate us and make us comfortable. They made the trip a success and I don't regret booking and staying with them at all. They showed us some great places to eat like base camp and they took us out to dinner. Being able to make breakfast in the morning was great. It had a great home vibe. My friend that accompanied me for her first time in Korea felt she got the real experience and felt we stayed at the perfect place to get to know the local point of view, night life and a good hospitable experience. I'd definitely come back again. Thank you for everything, l loved my stay. It's not the best but I feel it was kinda perfect.”
“perfect for visiting one of the youngest and trendiest areas of seoul. the guesthouse is a little bit hidden, but probably this is better on a side. few meters from nice cafes, art gallery, bars, small boutiques and shopping streets. ideal position for nightlife, 10 mins walk distance from the gay area with all the bars and clubs. cause i live in china, this guesthouse seems to me as extremely clean, but this can be just my perception”
“I was traveling alone and booked a 6 people shareroom for 2 nights. The room was so clean, warm and comfortable! The staff was so nice, she even helped me with my heavy luggage. cuz like such apparent in Seoul, they don't have elevator, which means if your luggage is very heavy, be prepared haha. Other than that, everything's just so great! Great location, comfortable beds, nice staffs! Highly recommend to everyone who is coming to visit Seoul! it's a wonderful place to stay!”
“The owner is very nice and she comes to the guesthouse in the morning and at night daily to make sure everything is alright. The guesthouse is very clean since the owner clean it everyday. She provides all the bathroom stuff and even skin care products. This guesthouse locates at the corner of the Main Street in Hongik University area, but it is quiet at night so it ensures me a good sleep. The guesthouse has three rooms, since there were only two guests during the period I stayed, I was able to occupy the whole room by myself. The owner can speak fluent Japanese and Korean, but only very simple English, so maybe a bit difficult to talk with her, but she always tries her best to understand and chat with me. All in all, the guesthouse has exceeded my expectation and good value of money.”
“Having been staying in most of the guesthouses in Itaewon, I would say this is probably the best! If you are looking for a budget stay, then this is definitely the one! It has all the basic things you need. And the room is at least more spacious than those you can find in Itaewon (FYI, I stayed in this double bedroom). They also have very simple breakfast (bread with jam and coffee/tea). I will definitely come back here!”
“I love this hostel so much. I was a bit lost at first but found my way. The hostel is pretty much near the Hongik station Line 2 Exit 8. It was 30 minutes before closing time when I arrived and gladly I was able to checked in. The staffs are friendly and super nice. Love it! I booked for 1 bed in a 6-bed dormitory but the manager(?) gave me a bed in a 4-bed dormitory (I didnt have to pay for the extra) which is better. Super thanks for that! The room for 4 is spacious enough for me. It has curtains which provides enough privacy. Towel and toiletries were provided. The bed is a bit hard though but its okay. This hostel is surrounded with a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, and also near to the hongdae park. It feels like home. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely book here again when I come back in Korea.”
“I only stayed for 9.5hrs so can't comment much. I arrived at almost 1am and left on the same day at 10.30am. The keys was left at the check-in counter so it was no fuss. The room has no individual power point or light for each bed so charging was a pain since I was on the upper bunk. The bathroom was weird with 2 'somewhat' communal shower... you have to pass by the person who is using the basin to get to the showers and if you are lucky, the inner shower room has a door that you can close, so passing the outer shower space to get to the inner shower. If someone is using the outer shower, you will be practically opening the door to a naked person taking her shower right infront of you and somehow try not to get wet while passing thru. There is a table with hair dryers and combs but no powerpoint nor mirror so you gotta use the powerpoint that is next to the wash basin. There are bath soap and shampoo dispenser but empty, so not sure if provided but I had my own, so that wasnt a problem for me altho it is quite common for guesthouse/hostels in Korea to provide them. Wifi is good and room is spacious enough with a good size locker. We have to take off our shoes at the entrance but no shoes provided, so waddling from the shower out to the corridor with wet feet and getting onto the bed is kinda uncomfortable. Tried to get a towel in the morning at 9am but no one at the recep counter. Room was on the 3rd flr and the recep counter is on the 4th. Not sure about the location but basically booked this as it was the only one left in agoda which is in Gangnam (not too far from the Express Bus Terminal) and at a good discount since I booked it last minute. It has a small kitchen just next to the recep counter, didnt use it so cant comment.”
“Jun Guesthouse was one of the better guest houses I’ve stayed in. The property was in an awesomely convenient location and it was very affordable, especially for my own private room! The staff were friendly and they spoke English very well. As for my room, it was a great size and the bed was comfortable. Though upon entering there was a noticeable soured smell coming from the bed (as if the laundry had not dried properly)... but because there was a large typhoon a few days prior and it appears as if they hang the linens up outside to dry- I will assume this is why my bed smelled funny. My only (small) request is that it would have been nice to have some hooks on the door/walls to hang things like my robe or my towel, etc. While they do offer laundry facilities, they are only available after 2pm until 7pm- which messed up one of my days as I had to stick around the area- instead of exploring Seoul- so I could return at 2pm and wash clothes (otherwise I’d have nothing clean for the next few days). Keep this in mind when packing for your trip. All in all though, super nice guesthouse and highly recommend! The small complaints where nothing major enough to deter me from visiting again.”
“I open visit seoul for short time. This time i found Housetay. Housetay was just near Subway station(2min by walk). And i guess they reopened new guesthouse. So i was clean enough. I am sure i will stay again. By the way, Thanks you for help me to buy Bigbang ticket. See you soon”
“I had wonderful experience during my stay and even before my stay in this guesthouse. Both of the person in-charged, Bobby and James are very helpful and friendly. Bobby answered all my questions and assisted me in solving some transportation issues. James was patient in explaining to me all my questions for destinations that I planned to go and visit. They tried their best to fulfill my special requests during my stay. The location of this guesthouse is strategic, about 5-10 minutes walk from the nearest subway. Nearby the guesthouse got many restaurants, convenient stores and shopping outlets. The room was clean and neat. All of the basic things needed were provided including simple breakfast, shampoo and body shampoo. I will definitely choose to stay in this guesthouse again if I visit to Seoul. I strongly recommend others to stay in Come Inn guesthouse.”
“I booked 2 nights for a 2 week trip in Korea. Shrek and Fiona and the friendly environment they've created quickly changed that into a 6 week stay in Korea with G Guesthouse as a base to travel from. Shrek and Fiona are incredibly knowledgeable with not only the Itaewon/Seoul area but most places you would want to visit in Korea. Oh and the rooftop garden is nice too. Kimchi Jjigae!”
“So cheap and best quality ! so kind staff especially Marlo! ”
“I went to Korea last summer and had a great time staying in STEP INN. It's very clean, cozy with friendly staff who gave me recommendation of a local hair salon when I asked for it:) The location is in the center of Myeongdong and super easy to shop and go around by train. I remember I even cancelled my bookings for another hotel and continued staying here when I came back to Seoul from Bishan due to its great location near the airport shuttle bus stop. Other than that, I also happened to bump into MonstaX's mini concert near the hostel in Myeongdong on my first day staying there, walking down the street in the morning... The only drawbacks for some might be the room can be quite small. But I like cozy rooms! I feel it's good for solo travelers or students.”
“Really great, as an 18 year old guy from Canada working in marketing, this place was really up my alley. I wanted a cool week long vacation in Seoul, and I got it at the Hostel Korea! Would definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for something similar.”
“Fantastic place to stay, very good room and nice facilities, great people, Richard helped us with everything he possibly could, enthusiastic friendly helpful cheerful owner! We're traveling by bicycle and were leaving Korea for two weeks without them, but were able to store bikes and luggage at the guesthouse! Located not too far from the subway station, so it's easy to get into Seoul any time. Also nearby Seoul Forest, worth a visit if you stay in the area,”
“This place is really good except that there's only one shower and bathroom on each floor which. So at certain times u had to wait in line. Especially during checkout timea and dinner times. Other than that the owner is very nice and friendly. Rooms could be a little more soundproofed. Would stay here again”
Also, depending on your room rate, access to the swimming pool may not be included (the Swimming pool is awesome throughout the year)”
“great stay !!! great hotel in seoul !!! great tips and we are stay many days in seoul . really we decided in the next trip to corea , come back to haytt hotel in seoul . near the city , great zone , great view, great amenities , great lounge , great parcking ... where ever you want , you have in this hotel ... really really a great hotel !!!”
“I would say Oakwood is by far the best residence hotel in Seoul Korea. Friendly staff with great accomodation and the dining on the first floor was delicious. Location is near Samsung Station (Line 2) and airport terminal as well. Oakwood was just great. Would definitely recommend to friends visiting Seoul.”
“This is a great hotel, but I expected it to be more luxurious for the price we paid. The hotel is connected to the Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart, Lotte World Theme Park and the subway. There is also a free shuttle to the other Lotte Hotel in Seoul. There is no free wi-fi in the hotel though. There is a cable in the room which will allow you to go online, but be careful, internet service is expensive! Breakfast is also not included. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in this hotel.”
“I had never been to the Walker Vista before so it was the first time. My wife and I had wanted to go to an outdoor pool hotel but unfortunately it wasn't open until June 22nd which was a let down when we first arrived. Still the manager did her best to make us feel better about our stay by giving us an upgrade which was much appreciated. Even without the use of the outdoor pool I feel this hotel has a lot to offer such as one of the best hotel gym's that I've been in within Seoul. The indoor pool was bright and has an outdoor sunbathing patio which I thought was a great extra to cool off as it gets a bit humid in there. The hotel was extremely clean, even the TV remote has a plastic cover that is replaced with every guest. This hotel also has a unique outside garden patio area to sit that has foot sauna's and hammock to watch the stars at night. I believe that this hotel holds one of the best value for money in Seoul especially in the summer months.”
“Me and my fiancée decided to stay here during Valentine’s Day, I was looking for a romantic and beautiful hotel and we found it. I live in gunsan and often travel to Seoul to meet my fiancée, after staying in over 50 different hotels in Seoul I must say this one is hands down the best I’ve experienced yet. The best experience staying at this hotel was the level of service you receive, I had only 10 minutes to decorate the room with various valentine’s day items like rose petals and candles, however I forgot to bring wine glasses and a cork opener, I called down to the front desk and literally within seconds they brought the items and even brought a beautiful wine set with ice that I didn’t even ask for to my room free of charge. we also needed a very early check in time and a really late checkout time and they granted that request without question, even when we walked around the lobby the staff would stand up soon as you walked in the room and asked if we needed anything at all, never experienced that kind of service even at the best hotels in America. The hotel is beautiful, we got a few pictures in front of the Victorian fountain in the lobby, and other areas of the hotel and they turned out great. The hotel room was extremely clean when we arrived and was extremely comfortable. The hotel is also located very near the coex metro with plenty to do and was only a 5 min walk from the subway station. The only small thing I found wrong with the hotel was the food prices, the Korean buffet was 60,000 won per person, and we ordered room service the next day and the prices were pretty ridiculous as well, got charged about 9 dollars for a can of coke lol. But this by no means even came close to ruining our experience with this hotel, and there are plenty of very nice reasonably priced restaurants located nearby to make up for it. Truly a 5 star hotel and will defiantly be going back in the future.”
“I love the facilities in the hotel. The pool inside the room is definitely amazing. The staff are of well trained with fluent English. They are willing to help and are patient to annoying question. The restaurant provide wide range of food and after that, you may take free exercise class in the gym. All in all, it is a must try hotel in Seoul.”
“Definitely lives up to its stars, Coex Intercontinental is fantastic in its building, its location, its staff and everything else. A bit expensive but so are other hotels in Seoul.”
“The natural surroundings of the hotel is just beautiful. The best place to enjoy the cherry blossoms in Korea. The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely to stay in the Douglas annex with its cozy atmosphere.”
“It was a terrific stay with Westin Chosun Seoul, I would rate it my top choice in Seoul (have stayed in a lot of different 5 star hotels in Seoul). The hotel itself is remarkably clean, 3 minutes walk literally to Lotte Shopping Centre and Myeondong, hotel staff is very friendly, always there when you need them. Highly recommended!”
“very modern design and located in heart of gangnam. close to subway station. Only missing point is this hotel has considerably small lobby and entrance compare to other 5 stars hotel in seoul.”
“About 8 mins walk to Seoul Subway Station, Millenium is strategically located. It's got good ambience and relatively quiet surroundings, but with the convenience of restaurants and shops located within walking distance. To go to Seoul subway station, we had to go down the stairs from the backdoor of the hotel, which opens you to a nice garden area. During winter, the stairs could be slippery though. As we went there during winter, we were able to make a little snowman in the garden area just outside the back door of the hotel. Most of the hotel staff speak English and this is definitely a plus point for English-speaking tourists. The breakfast is great, with a spread of fresh juices, smoked salmon, pastry and dairy. However, it was the most expensive hotel we stayed during our trip to Seoul.”
“It's the best hotel that I had stay before in Seoul. Someone in Seoul also guarantee this is the best hotel in Seoul. Room is quite big and very comfortable and clean. Bed is so soft and warm. All staffs can speak English very well and service you very well. Breakfast is good and dining in room is also good. Hotel is located in very good location. It's place in co-ex mall so you can find everything around you. You can go everywhere easily by walk to Samseong Station. So this is the best choice of hotel that you should choose to stay next time.”
“Stayed in a spacious room with a balcony. Nice room design and clean. Requested a purifier and humidifier. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide spread of varieties. About 5 mins walk to a subway entrance. Lots of food choices around the area. Highly recommended.”
“A great choice of 5 star hotel in Seoul. V good value for money with the Agoda deal. Located v close to station - the only way to get around Seoul without traffic hassles. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel - much better outlook, quiet and overlooks the waterfall The Gym is really excellent - as is Golf and the Sauna (extra) + the Pool is fantastic Rooms good - real king size beds + you can open a window if the Aircon is not working (seems they turn off cooling function in Autumn and winter) ATM does not accept foreign cards - bizarre for an international Hotel, when the 7*11 across the road does!”
“i had travelled many time to seoul every time in 5* hotels , you could find good hotel located just in down town but very small rooms , or you find good hotel but with no much varities in western resturants , or you find good hotel but without full spa facilities , really grand imbassador hotel is the best to find either in room mordern spacious rooms , good location near to most of attractions , full of spa facilities , excellent buffet breakfast and dinner with huge varities of food lists even cookers some of them were foreigners , without forgetting the friendly staff , all these reasons makes the hotel in total is excellent among five stars hotels in seoul”
“I needed a hotel for several days after a last minute business cancelation in another city. I found this hotel on Agoda and initially only booked for one night. Upon check-in and the initial interaction with several staff members I realized that I had found a diamond in the rough. The hotel has been open for approx. one year so it is still new and fresh. The staff are helpful and amazingly friendly. I booked for two more nights and thoroughly felt at home in this wonderful half-suite room. The room was equipped with a kitchenette and even had a small washing machine/dryer machine in the rear closet and luggage storage area. Great views of the river or the city. I will definitely be going back to this hotel the next time I’m in Seoul.”
“A very nice hotel for holiday/vacation or business travel, next door to Gimpo Airport and only 30-40 mins by taxi/car to Incheon Airport. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast & dinner was excellent with a wide variety on offer. Other restuarants & bars were close by. Early check-in was possible for me (5am) with my room ready to go. Will stay again next time in Seoul.”
“The staff at this hotel is perfectly friendly and thoughtful. They greeted us everytime we walked into the lobby and answered our every question with clear details. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we can ask for, including a washing machine and coffee maker. The hotel was located right beside Yongsan station and is co-located with Novotel and Ibis (called the Seoul Dragon City, where there are many shops too).”
“The Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel is a top notch hotel with excellent views and amenities. The hotel is located on the upper floors of the Seoul D Cube City shopping complex. There are no tall buildings immediately next to the complex, thus, the views from any window are excellent and uninterrupted. There is a subway stop connected to the complex which makes for easy traveling. The best features of the hotel were the club level lounge and the fitness center. The lounge had the best breakfast and happy hour food selection I've ever experienced out of the many club/executive lounges that I've encountered. The food was constantly refreshed and the view over the city was fantastic. The happy hour food was so filling and delicious that it filled me up and I didn't need to go out and have dinner! The fitness center was very well equipped with ample cardio equipment, lots of weight machines, a free-weight area, a room for fitness classes, and a stretching area. The lap pool was also very nice. The staff at the hotel were excellent and spoke perfect English. They were very helpful and always engaging. Perhaps the only disappointment was the value of the hotel. It is an expensive hotel, and even though the view from our room was spectacular, the size of the room for the price seemed small. This was my first stay in Seoul, so perhaps it is just the standard to have small, expensive hotel rooms in a city with such a high standard of living. Overall, an excellent hotel.”
“Conrad Seoul Hotel is located in a very beautiful places with wide roads, parks and a big river. as to those love jogging, it is a perfect place. The mall under it is modern and there are so many food choices in the supermarket. Most of the employees in the mall can speak English. The staff of Conrad Seoul Hotel are ready to offer help any time. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. It's a pity for me to stay a night there. If I have a chance to go back to Korea, it will be my first choice.”
“best hotel in Seoul. i live here for 4 days 3 nights. the staff exteremely helpful and attentive. they were very informative in everything i've asked for. the room spacious, clean and high tech. love the sound system and large bathroom . also the room has big window with a good view of dongdaemun. close to public transport and next to main shopping areas. Love this hotel so much. will definitely come back and highly recommended.”
“The Seoul Plaza has always been my favorite hotel in Seoul because of its unique, central location and because of the thorough attentiveness and professionalism of its staff. It is a great hotel. However, the hotel's central location also comes with a drawback over which the hotel exercises no control. The hotel faces directly onto the City Hall Plaza, which is a center for both cultural and political activity. At times this activity -- political activity especially -- can be quite noisy for those in rooms on the north side of the hotel, facing up Taepyongno toward Gyeongbokgung Palace. During my most recent stay there were two occasions in which political activists employed very loud sound systems. The back (south) side of the hotel is quieter, but also less attractive. The hotel has recently undergone a major renovation, and is now one of the most "hi tech" hotels in Asia. However, the renovation evidently did not include installation of hi-tech sound-proof windows in all of the rooms, which is a shame. Bottom line: I will still stay at the Plaza, but there may be some guests who will find the occasional disturbance to their peace to be more than they really want to deal with.”
“This was my first visit to the Seoul Palace and I was pretty pleased with the overall experience. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, although I found the traffic noise from the highway outside to be a little disturbing. The breakfast was very good, if a little pricy (like all hotels in Seoul). The pool was a good size. If I'm honest, I found the location to be a little out of the way from where I needed to be for business at the COEX exhibition centre and meetings around Gangnam station. Be aware that although the hotel is next to the Express Bus Station subway, some of the walking transfer times are quite long, turning a 2-stop ride to Gangnam station into a 30-40 minute journey. A taxi to COEX took between 20-30 mins depending on the traffic. On the plus side, the hotel is a short walk from a lovely low rise area featuring some excellent bars and restaurants.”
“this is probably my 3rd comments about this hotel since i booked the hotel for my group. so don't think of me as spam if you see me too many times. anyway, this is the 2nd time i stay in grand hilton hotel and i still enjoy staying here. room is clean, staff is friendly and speak fluent english. when you stay in this hotel, you need to know that there are 2 hilton hotels in seoul. so make sure you bring a hotel card with you and show that to a taxi driver since most of taxi drivers in seoul do not speak english and if you just say hilton, they will take you to the millennium hilton hotel.”
“Right next to Myeong Dong, has under pass connected to Lotte department store and subway station. Amenities in the room when we first arrived were extremely limited. Had to specifically call to request (left a note to the housekeeping staff wasn't sufficient). A bit surprised for hotel at this price range. The executive wing is relatively new, so the facility in the room was nice.”
“This hotel never fails me for comfortable stay when I am in Seoul. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for 5 star hotels in Seoul.”
“We made our booking after looking around for a more smoker friendly hotel. Hotel28 offers a smoking area within the hotel premises at the outdoor rooftop. Most hotels in Seoul do not offer smoking room anymore and not very smoker friendly on the street either. I have been to Seoul 10x and stayed in Myeongdong all the time. This is the 5th hotel I have stayed in Myeongdong and it is definitely one of my top choice in Myeongdong. The hotel is just 2 mins away from airport limo bus stop (at Ibis bus stop) and 3 mins away from Euljiro 1 subway. Lotte department store is just across the street, Myeongdong main shopping area is just a turn from the hotel. Plenty of food choices just a few steps away. We booked Deluxe Twin of 31 sq m, but the room feel not as large as we thought as the bathroom took up a lot of space with the bath tub in the centre. Mini bar is FREE! Beers, sodas, crackers are available in the mini bar. Also a Nespresso machine! The toiletries is awesome”
“I had a wonderful 5-night stay in this hotel. It was my 4th time visiting Seoul, and this hotel is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. Location: Perfect! Subway stations, Myeongdong, Namdaemun, City Hall, Airport bus, huge dept stores are all within a short walking distance. Plenty of food options, coffee shops, 24-hr convenience shops in nearby area. I carried plenty of luggages, so I took taxi from Seoul station, it took me just 5 mins to reach the hotel and cost me only 4500 won. Room: Excellent! Very clean, great comfortable bed and bathroom is superb. Room view is excellent, too. Service: Receptionists and concierge are very polite and welcoming. They speak very good english and also very efficient. The housekeeping lady is also very nice and warm. They take extraordinary effort to ensure our stay was a memorable one. Facilities: Love their library so much. Very well decorated with a great view of Seoul skyscraper buildings. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better experience during my stay in this hotel. They did a really good job to ensure everything was flawless. And I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul.”
“All the staffs are very nice and friendly. The environment of the hotel is wonderful. The room and the beds are very cozy and big, just like being at home. The location is nice as well, it's near 3 subways which only takes about 5-10 mins to get. I love the gym and laundry facilities. However the laundry machines are not enough to use, there're only 2 washing machines and 2 drying machines. Sometimes I had to wait for several hours to do the laundry. I love Innisfree green tea bathing appliances, and the room always fulls of the beautiful green tea smell. The view of my room is great, I could see N Seoul Tower easily. And the view of rooftop is beautiful, too. There're two things could be better, one is the weak wifi in the room, and another is that the breakfast isn't variety. Anyway, I will recommend G2 Hotel to my friends, and I'll stay in G2 when I go to Korea next time.”
“stayed in double room a on the 12th floor of prince hotel (there are 13 floors), and was pleasantly surprised to find a king-sized bed (i'd expected perhaps a queen-sized bed or a uk-standard double bed). the room and bathroom were pretty small but adequate space to move around comfortably in the room as well as to set out two large luggage bags (well, if you're looking for a hotel smack centre of the shopping area, can't be expecting large rooms!), the furnishings and fittings looked modern and pleasing to the eye. from my room, we had a birds-eye view of the start of the main myeongdong shopping street -- and despite the hotel's proximity to the shopping area, we had uninterrupted sleep (didn't hear noise from the streets below). the mattress was comfortable (not like the hard-ish mattress i'd encountered at other hotels in seoul on previous trip). there seemed to be quite a few japanese travelers staying at this hotel. the concierge staff spoke good english, and were helpful in providing us directions.”
“Pros - soundproofing between rooms is very good, excellent location, staff is great (among the best in Seoul - I've stayed at 15+ hotels there), there is a high # of staff per guest, cleaning crews are excellent, rooms are reasonably good for sleeping (good curtains + dark + good pillows), A/C works well though it's loud on medium/high setting, you can go directly to your room floor from the ground level (though lobby is on 9F). Staff changed my room for me very efficiently and graciously on Day 2 after complaining of road noise on Day 1. Neutral - elevators are reasonably fast and only require long wait at peak time, there are only 2 coin washers so I had to walk to a nearby private coin laundry center. Cons - Wifi doesn't work well (bad range and also very unstable connection), gym is small/not that good (but there are several gyms in the immediate vicinity), some rooms have road noise, the rooms are a bit small, TV channel selection is bad (e.g. no NBA basketball on SpoTV 1/2).”
“We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Seoul. Almost everything you need is already provided here. Free shuttle bus to Myeongdong, Seoul station, dongdaemun. Food is about 2 minutes walking distance. Free refill drinking water. Convenience store is at level 14 of the hotel. Breakfast is great (not awesome though). Ah yes, remember to go to eat at the fish street somewhere here! Small street but crowded and very delicious! Highly recommended! Adios”
“The only complaint is that the towels never seemed as fresh (slightly stained) as other Seoul hotels we stayed at. We notified staff of this the 2 separate times we stayed at OCloud, and they did try to get us other towels, but they should really look into how they are cleaned. Other than that, stay was great!”
“The hotel was close from subway station and airport bus shuttle. As i heard from staff, It just open on April so that the hotel was pretty new and nice. I stayed the room in high floor and I could see the nice city view in my room. Dongdaemoon which is a big market in Seoul is very close as well. ( It is in walking distance). and many market in Dongdaemoon open until over night. so I could walk to there in midnight and have a delicious street food. Also, Staffs in the hotel was very nice and even if i asked many things like direction, restaurant, they always are nice to me with smile. I was so happy to stay here and if i have a chance to come Korea again, I surely stay here again.”
“2nd time ina different Glad hotel in seoul but Room for this hotel is rather small though it is very elegant and comfortable.”
“The hotel doesn't scream out from the ground view (only the name on a signboard), and the lobby is on 2nd floor. but the hotel itself is very classy (in a very neat and modern way). I purposely stay in the room (vs going out for a walk), just to enjoy the room. will go again, and if Shillastay is like this, will be my default choice in Korea.”
“I have stayed different hotels in Seoul and this one was the best in terms of its location, very near to all the tourist attractions and good restaurants in the old town Seoul. It is also very clean. The room and the equipments are simple but efficient, so you have everything you need. I think I would stay again when I am back in Seoul.”
“I want to recognize and appreciate the excellent customer service of Lee Jong Bo. I am very grateful for his exceptional support and care at our most needed times. On the day of moving to a new hotel, there was no taxi available to come to the hotel for hours due to a protest. Exhausted and desperately, we decided to walk over 20 minutes carrying our heavy luggage. Lee Jong Bo stepped up and offered to help. He not only called the taxi personally; but also helped us to negotiate and convince the taxi driver to take us before the driver drove away after seeing our luggage. He then carried the luggage and placed in the trunk personally. Lee Jong Bo has done things above and beyond his duty and we are so thankful for his kind actions. Lee Jong Bo from New Seoul Hotel in Seoul is a great example of wonderful customer service representatives and we will definitely come back to the hotel if we visit Seoul again.”
“It's was great to have free drinks due to my second stay in this hotel. My preferred hotel in Seoul. Great location and value for money.”
“We really liked this hotel. The guy at the parking was very very gentle and even though he was older his English was very understandable. All the staff was very nice and their English was very very good and trust me most hotels in Korea doesn't have English speakers. The room was kind of small but is enough for two people. The bathroom, the gym and the restaurant were clean and perfect. Also the location was perfect. There is a train station close, the Gangnam Downtown is like two miles walking Love, love, love”
“The shop on the first floor is very convenient”
“The hotel 's location is great, in the center of Myengdong Night Market, so easy to go shopping.”
“Love the location of the hotel, great access to public transport and eatery.”
“This hotel totally has a good condition and price for staying in”
“Best part of the hotel is the service, all staff is very helpful and friendly.”
“The bus from the airport stops right outside, easy access to the subway.”
“Price is very reasonable and the room is clean.”
“The hotel is located conveniently located and is very near to shopping, eating and public transport.”
“Pros: The room and bathroom were clean, and the receptionists were helpful.”
“Breakfast had a good selection, and everyone left full.”
“The location was superb, near to Myeongdong and you can basically just walk out of the hotel to grab whatever you need.”
“This hotel is conveniently located across from COEX mall.”
“The room is very clean and modern but very compact.”
