It was my first time to visit the island of Siargao (having visited almost all the islands of the Philippines) and let me just say I was blown away by the exquisiteness of the place. I am not a surfer and so I was keen in finding a resort that had a pool, an amazing view and amenities that would complement the beauty of the place and Siargao Bleu Resort fit the job to a T. Stayed at the Siargao Bleu Resort from the 26th until the 29th of May 2016. The place was opened last September and it was wonderful to experience a new and luxurious resort in the island paradise of Siargao. The pictures actually don't do justice to the place. Melot, the owner, was so gracious in her welcome and ensured that everything was taken cared of. Free land rides were provided for the guests of which I allowed myself to use to see the other parts of the island. Though I am not a surfer, the place was a few minutes away from Cloud 9 where surfers show their skills and an interested "beginner" such as I could indulge. I also rented their own bicycle to go around the island of which was so precious an experience. Back to the hotel, there was a huge swimming pool where one could not just swim but also kayak! They also bake fresh coconut bread in front of the guests within the resort... Isn't that luxurious?! The hotel organized the island hopping of Guyam, Dako and Naked Island of which blew me away! For those who are familiar with Boracay in the 80s, Dako Island is such. Naked island is a long sand bar and to experience that privately while watching the sunset there made me realize (again) how blessed Filipinos are to have such in the country. This organizing would not be possible had it not been for the excellent advice of Mench. She was awesome! Also ask for Alan as your tour guide for he will make the tour just absolutely perfect. On the final day, I had the privilege of being escorted by the manager, John, to the airport and was treated like VIP showing an amazing view of the Naked

Siargao is one the best islands that I have been to, no doubt! It almost feels like you're not in the Philippines. The turquoise waters, the almost gold sands of the beaches, the adventures which I would not have experienced in any other beach paradise and most importantly, the people of Siargao. You guys are the best! Very friendly and helpful, also, the food that you've prepared for us are the best! I've been out of the country for 3 long years and this was the best welcoming feast! Siargao Island Villas is the best hotel to stay in, in my opinion. I like how clean the room is whenever we get back from our adventures. Fresh linens, fresh towels! Oh so good! Plus you can visit their famous Indonesian restaurant - Warung. Food is great! Especially that Pandan Crepe! That is to die for! When we come back to Siargao we'll definitely book this place again! and again! Beachfront is PARADISE! That's where my girlfriend said YES to me under the moonlight! This is the best place ever!

Our activities in Siargao Island is limited however, because of this resort we really really had fun moments. A family and kid friendly resort in General Luna.. Bonus ,its really close to restaurants, store, shopping. We will surely comeback 😊

My first stay in Siargao and it’s got to be one of the best places. We stayed at the extension because we got a studio, it’s not that far from the main resort and honestly, i was even happier because the place was really peaceful. It’s near the roadside and party places. Accessible everywhere. The pool and the buffet breakfast were amazing. Our villa is so cute. We came during a rainy season so it was a good thing that Romantic beach had a great place to stay in and the pool. The bathroom’s transparent room surprised me. So aesthetic! The staff are nice unlike other resorts we visited in the island, your staff don’t gossip and they are not loud. They’re very classy. I love it. Hopefully, i’ll be able to stay here for my next visit! Feels like home💓

Our much anticipated trip to Siargao exceeded our expectation. From the remote location to the extreme hospitality that greeted us- Club Tara is definitely a special place.Club Tara May not have what you would expect in a conventional resort as far as amenities , but the staff has added such personality and pride that no amount of luxury and technology can replace..no doubt that Club Tara has our highest recommendation -and if you’re looking for a knowledgeable island guide- ask for Bonga- and she’ll show you the local vibes!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stayed for 8 days in the RBH and had a great week of surfing, relaxing, eating and chilling. Thanks to the people in RBH. Especially Sean and his family and not to forget Rasta make you feel welcome and help you with anything you ask for....surfing, biking, island hopping, airport transfer.... The rooms are clean, spacious and mine had a big balcony with ocean view as an extra. Great! Nice pool too, but....the most outstanding feature....especially in the mornings...for me was the Nespresso machine! Well done! Back on Siargao I will definitely stay here again.

My girlfriend and I decided to stay at Patrick´s On The Beach after finding their website and feeling that they really are experts on Siargao. All you need to know is on their website: how to get there, activities, weather reports - great! Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner himself and offered a delicious welcome drink: a unique home made mango rum. We actually ended up buying several bottles to take home ;-) Our accommodation was a beachfront cottage, bamboo made, island style. Basic but comfortable and clean - though somewhat aged. Other huts on the property however seemed brand new. Anyways, we had originally planned to stay for one night only, but because the weather was kind to us and we felt so comfortable here, we decided to extend our stay to four nights. During our stay we really appreciated the resort bar and restaurant. Having a cup of freshly brewed coffee in the morning on the beach watching the sunrise is priceless. The menu is fantastic, quite extensive with dishes from around the globe. We loved the caribbean curry as much as the amazing sashimi from fish straight from the sea! We also were able to take a day tour island hopping, this way we got acquainted with neighboring islands with breathtaking coconut beaches, local villages and a curious dune island called naked island! We really had a very happy time and got much more than expected out of our stay. We will recommend Patrick´s to our friends and are certain to return here ourselves.

Went to Siargao for sightseeing and food trip. Not really a surfer couple. Location: - Along the Highway - Near the best restaurants and bars - Has a spa adjacent to the hotel Staff: - Very accommodating - Wear the best smiles - Recommends the best things to do in the Island Accommodation: - We got the Villa type of room which is big for the both of us and it was very clean - Great value for money Overall, we had a great time and would definitely be back to Pesangan Surfcamp to explore more of Siargao!

Hotel is adjacent to Guyam, Dako and Naked Islands: Jadestar has a boat and boatsman that you can hire for a fantastic day of island hopping. We also used this service for a day trip to beautiful Bucas Grande. Sohoton Caves, the stingless jellyfish lagoon and nearby lake and caves are well worth the effort to visit. The owners were very helpful and friendly: dropping us off in town by motorbike so we could get panihapon (= tea or supper), arranging transport to our next hotel on another part of the island and inviting us to join them for the owner's birthday party, which included lechon (= roast pig). If you spend most of your time out on the islands as we did during our 3 night stay, then Jadestar is a great budget - wise option.

If anyone looks for a place made with HEART and LOVE in absolutely every detail will fall in love with the Sandy Feet Siargao! BIG compliment to the owner, we felt like in a sweet dream the whole stay! -new motorbikes to rent -absolutly amazing villa with so much love in the materials, the decoration the accesoirs the choosen mosaik, woods, pillows, colors, etc. etc. -the organized island hopping -the amazing food from their restaurant partner -“Neneng” and the rest of the staff who explained all you need to know and just made an amazing stay -organized trips (like island hopping with own Sandy Feet boat) -price is more than worth it compared to overpriced “exclusive” hotels around!! we were also in Siargao Bleu and Isla Cabana, and the difference is insane! you pay much more there for a heartless commercial place with greedy managers and “cold” staff! big mistake to book in those places and even leave 1 cent there... - extremly beautiful bathroom, kitchen, couch, lounge, hammocks, etc. - the list goes much longer!! its for people who appreciate things created with love, because it shows in the quality and all the details and what you get from it is pure happiness! big respect and thank you alexandra for creating such a unique place in the philippines, the right people will more than appreciate it! definitly come again! we never met you but stay exactly how you are because only a great person can build up something like this! Ive been to so many countrys and hotels, but if i had to choose a place to stay forever, its definitly the Sandy Feet Siargao!!

La Luna is located between General Luna and Cloud 9. From the first time I walked in I felt welcome and at home, the staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating. My room where located on top of the restaurant but I never had any problems with noise or commotion from below. The room were large and clean and have AC. The bathroom were clean with hot and cold shower. I stayed for 20 nights. The hotel is ~100m from the beach. The staff arranged a surf instructor for me. Motor bikes and boat trips and other activities can also be arranged by the staff. We where usually a small group going surfing which was a great way to meet new friends. The restaurant is the best I tried on the island! Wifi was perfect in the restaurant but limited in my room. I'll stay at La Luna the next time I'm visiting Siargao!

I have travelled a lot and I don't think I have ever written a review but every now and again you come an across an absolute gem. I was flying solo for three weeks and my last week stop was at Makulay and it couldn't have been more pleasant. To put it simply it was heaven, Catharina, Bin (aka ding dong) and Camilla looked after me so well. As a solo traveller and the only guest at the time I couldnt have asked for any more. I could bang on and on but what makes this place special are the hosts, the setting and the family feel which you very rarely get, especially considering the host, Catharina has spent years in designing and creating a very special place and one that will be hard to beat in the Philippines. It goes without saying I would highly recommend staying here, go for the large Villa, the pictures don't do it justice! I will be going back there on my honeymoon if not before! Many thanks. Will

Situated between General Luna and the Cloud 9 surf break, Turtle Surf Camp is an ideal location if you're into meeting other like-minded travelers. Although they don't serve food, they do have a kitchen that you can use to cook your own food. There are plenty of eateries and restaurants in the area if cooking isn't your thing. Turtle has their own boat and conducts tours to surf breaks around the island. as well as island hopping tours if you're not a surfer. We were on the island for two weeks and stayed at four different places with Turtle being our last stop. Next time we are in Siargao we plan to stay at Turtle Surf Camp the entire time.

I therefor conclude that this resort is very relaxing and all the staffs are appreciable and kind. The place also is very easy going and near in the tourist spots in Siargao island.

Location + near cloud 9, boulevard and other restaurants - the beach front is not suitable for swimming you have to walk further near Isla Cabana or the cemetery Staff + they always acted fast when we requested for something - I don't exactly like very bubbly and energetic employees but a little warmness would have been nice, they were all straight faced throughout our stay - During the boat ride to Siargao, we met a boatman who offers island hopping tours so we agreed to go with him already. When we arrived at the resort, the staff offered a boat for island hopping so we said we already have, then one staff said that IT IS NOT ALLOWED to book with other boats. Since we our staying at their hotel we SHOULD book them because they can't be responsible for us if they don't know the boatman. I understand her reason but THE WAY she told us was awkward because she was IRRITATED and she REPRIMANDED us for not booking with them. In the end she said it is up to us but the damage has been done so to speak. Facilities + 24 hours front desk and staff - they closed the restaurant because it is not peak season (which I understand) but it would have been nice not to walk further or take a habal just to eat a meal Others + wifi was fast + interior and exteriors was good - The water in the bathroom smells of metal which was a bit disgusting and the drainage was also a problem, after taking a bath your feet will be soaked already - our door cannot be locked so EVERYTIME we would go out we would ask the staff to lock it for us but they too cannot lock it saying previous guests have broke it so I was thinking if they know it was broken in the first place why didn't they have it fixed?! Anyway, they said they would look after the room for us and the place is safe but that didn't make us feel secured.

If you are looking for a perfect getaway place that you will fully enjoy the beauty of the island nature and will also feel like at home, this is the place you are looking for! Magical resort managed by Eddie and his charming wife gives you a feeling of relaxation, serenity and safety. Your cottage is surrounded by palm and papaya trees, dogs are lazily running around, kids are playing in the garden. Everybody is very kind and eager to help and give you advise what to do, where to go, how to enjoy the beauty of the Siargao island to the utmost. If you want to enjoy the beach, just walk 10m through the garden, don't even bother to lock your cottage door. This is the place that will let you fully enjoy your holidays without worrying about anything, just reset and recharge your batteries. Quiet surrounding that is located 15 min by walk from the fish market and 5-10min drive from Cloude no9 the spot for surfing, kiting and other day and night activities. Don't think twice, just book this place and I can assure you will be as charmed as we were during our stay, since the moment we stepped through Eddie's resort's door.

Most enjoyable second stay @ Sailfish Bay Lodge Jesse and Mark Latham, great couple to run the lodge and understand the needs of a variety of travellers to Siargao Island. Marks fishing boat is good value and will put the Angler amongst Sailfish, withe the opportunity for all guests at the lodge to share the cost of the boat.

One of the best places to stay when you.re in Siargao. Was travelling with my siblings and their family and we all enjoyed our stay there. The place is quiet with only 5 or 6 rooms which means less people, less crowds. The staff did a magnificent job in covering all our needs from arranging habal2 rides, BingGo bookings, cooking and preparing the delicious food, etc. They (Raphael, Jorgie, and Venus the owner) were just amazing! Note that there is no beachfront though.

We travelled as 3 backpackers and the room had plenty of space, was very clean and near to the beach and main tourist area. The shower is hot which is a bonus. However the ahowerbead was over the sink so I as a little tricky to wash yourself. They did not have a backup generator so when a typhoon hit the island we were left without electricity and water. However this was true of most of the island's properties. There is a shop in the accom which is super helpful if you want beers and a common kitchen area. Food is a decent price. Wifi is slow but does work. I'd suggest breakfast to be included in the price for the room. That would have been the cherry on the cake.

Siargao Paraiso Resort is a beautiful resort strategically positioned on Siargao Island. From the first moment you are met by the Paraiso staff you know you are in for a extraordinary holiday. I didn't quiet know what to expect and am pleased to say that the beautiful photo's and video you see online do not do the place justice as its simply amazingly beautiful. The staff provide you with luxury 5 star service making you feel like its your own tropical beachside paradise. The chef create's the menu daily depending on what is freshest and seasonal at the market that day, along with your personal tastes and preferences. We enjoyed a wonderful variety of fresh shellfish, seafood, chicken, pork and accompanied by salads and vegetables grown in a organic garden and the freshly squeezed fruit juices were one of the highlights for me and my family. If your'e looking for a place to relax and rejuvenate , Siargao Paraiso Resort is all that and more.

Hidden Island is a perfect place to stay in Agus Grandes, Socorro. The view from our room which was at the top of hill was simply breathtaking you can spend the whole day watching the ocean or the islands around the hotel. Its far from the airport or the mainland but a perfect getaway..i♥it there

Me and my boyfriend visited Tarzan's for 3 days. We wanted some pristine and secluded place to stay, fronting the ocean. Bucas Grande seemed a great idea, after we visited quite busy Siargao for few days. Tarzan's is located in the East Bucas Grande. Reachable only by boat. No motorbikes or cars allowed there, only a little village with few cottages nearby. No noise. Only the ocean and the jungle. The locals are very friendly. Tarzan's Beach Resort offers a simple accommodation in stunning surroundings with lovely and welcoming hosts. The owners Chaz & Jennifer did their best to make us feel just like at home. Jennifer is a great cook and every meal she served was really fresh & tasty - starting with delicious breakfast omelette, finishing with amazing crabs in coconut milk and baked squid. Everything very reasonably priced. Chaz gave us lots of tips for exploring the neighbourhood and arranged boat cruises around surrounding islands. Chaz is American, Jennifer speaks good English. The cottages have simple interior. They are supplied with fan, mosquito net, toilet and running water shower. Each cottage is supplied with a hammock and safety lock. There is also a shower outside, great for washing off the sand. Don't expect luxury - it's very decent jungle cottage accommodation at a decent price in most picturesque beachfront surrounding you could ever imagine. Jungle only a few steps away. The cottages are located literally on the beach. Expect being woken up each day by a beautiful scenic sunrise over the Pacific ocean. We were the only tourists on the whole island during our stay. The place it not touristic. We had the beach entirely to ourselves. Getting there is easy. Hosts can arrange comfortable and reasonably priced boat transfers from Dapa (port in Siargao). You just need to contact them in advance via SMS. If you are looking for a true paradise getaway you can't get better than Tarzan's. 10/10 experience Have a nice stay, Monika & Pete

Rico's crew is one of a kind! Very pleased with everything Siargao Inn has to offer! Food is pretty great! Even if you crave something thats not on the menu just say it and theyll make it for you! You wanna be spontaneous and do something around the island? Ask someone, ask charlie, pedro or neneng! Theyll find ways to make things happen for you! Everyones very friendly accomodating and always ready for you! I highly recommend Siargao Inn when in Siargao!

Located in between General Luna and Cloud 9, Buddha's Surf Resort was the ideal place to journey around the magical island of Siargao. The rooms were clean and spacious, the common room/dining area was spacious with strong Wifi, and the grounds were calm, serene, and perfect to begin any adventure.

Great place to stay. close to a lot of things(restaurants etc.. has a good beach front. definitely recommend the place and will book here if i go back to siargao.

Riad Masaya gave me a whole lot new experience in solo travelling. The place is really cozy and not overcrowded. Clean and well-maintained with great value for your money. Beyond that, you will come back because of the people. Ate Inday, Ate She and the rest of the staff have been so nice. At daytime, when all other guests are outside and Im just chillin at the lounge, I enjoyed having meals with them like i’m part of their family. Other hostel guests became good friends too! You will really find a home in Siargao at Riad Masaya 😊

We have enjoyed our stay in the Yellow house. The house is clean and quiet. Perfect location since it is near restaurants and beaches. I will definitely book this again if I were to be back in Siargao

Location was amazing! Its steps away from almost every resto and and bars. Staffs were very helpful. We're all pretty aware of the shortage of water supply in the Island so it was understandable that sometimes there is no running water, however they provide around 7 gallons of water everyday for us to use. So it wasn't really an issue. The location and how clean the place was over shadowed the issue with water. Plus when we dined at barrel they kindly gave as a bit of discount. Such a huge bonus! Guys you have to try their food (name of the resto and I believe the owner of the apartment is BARREL)! the chicken burger, fries, quesadillas, roast chicken and fried rice are our favorites(pretty much the whole menu lol)! the food they sell is probably the best in the island! Enough about the food, YES I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT! :)
