St. Julian's hotels & places to stay

Drunks and 'gentlemen's' bars surround the area. The hotel is nice but St. Julian's is not.

I really had a great time in Malta and staying in Intercontinental helped. The location was perfect with good connection to other cities in Malta. It was near the bus stop, shops, restaurants, and near the beach (even though I could not swim as it was still cold). The room was very spacious (I had 2 double beds in my room even if I was alone!). I was really impressed with the room. The staff was friendly and always greeted me with a smile. I will definitely come back to Malta and stay here again.

Location is in the middle of 2 popular areas (clubbing and seaside promenade) about 5-10 minutes walk. Staff ares really friendly and attentive. Breakfast has not too many options but all in great quality. No official bellboy but front desk came to help as soon as she finish the other customer check out. There is underground parking which is rear in Malta, even in 5 stars hotel are barely have the parking and need to park by the roadside.

Late night flight from Dublin made a Hotel stay in St. Julian's the practical option before we moved on. We got an excellent deal for two very clean and comfortable rooms. We found the Hotel quiet and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. Good breakfast buffet for €6 each in the morning. Can't fault it.

The hotel is at an excellent location in St Julians, and only a short walk (around 5 mins) to the nearest bus stop. There are many great restaurants along the street of the hotel and there's a grocery and convenience store within walking distance as well. The room was big and well-maintained, and I really appreciated how often it was cleaned. We loved the indoor and the rooftop pool. Very friendly and helpful reception staff! Would highly recommend staying here.

it is a very nice hotel ,friendly and helpfull staf .food is nice ,you can have a good choise in the vinoteque ,with exelent food . the rooms was very clean ,and the furneture is realy nice ,the people at the reception are frienly and help you with a smile . felt very welcome there ,

Me and my friend loved our hotel room! Whilst the reception area could do with some work to make it more attractive, the reception staff, especially Philip, were very helpful and kind. The superior room itself was very nice, modern, clean and cosy. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom was very nice. During our 3 night stay, the rooms were cleaned every day whilst we were our. The only thing missing from the room I would say is a rail or rack to hang wet clothes. The view from the balcony wasn’t great due to construction works but that cannot be helped. The location was great as it was a 3min walk away from the main area which meant you were away from the noise but still close to shops and restaurants. Room had kettle, new towels every day, AC which worked a treat, iron upon request. Loved our stay, thank you District Hotel

The Hotel Juliani is a fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of St. Julian's and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. While it was also nearby the clubs in Paceville, it wasn't so close that the streets were loud and obnoxious. The staff were very helpful and were able to easily arrange a car rental through a company across the street. I'd also highly recommend the Hotel Juliani's Zest Restaurant. Free wifi access is a great selling point for the hotel, although didn't work as consistently as I would have liked. In addition, the breakfast at the hotel just seems expensive for what it is. Despite what higher class hotels seems to think, breakfast just shouldn't be that expensive.

If you want to stay in the party center of Malta, in St. Julian's, this is the best option you have that is also great value for money. It is also next to the beach and some great food joints.

Staff is truly exceptional, from reception to cleaning to breakfast. Probably the best from my lifelong travels...Modern and neat and clean. Everything about the hotel was absolutely perfect, only not sure of its location, Paceville I do not like at all, noisy and loud. One night in the opposite room there were extremely noisy drunk teenagers screaming around without any action from hotel.... Maybe I am too old.

A tidy clean apartment with absolutely everything you could ever need. Perfect location just a minute walk to the shops and 4 mins to a beautiful beach. The owners are extremely helpful too. I highly recommend this accommodation.

This place is a gem. The ladies who run it are beyond charming, the rooms spacious, beds comfy and its difficult to say anything other than superlatives. It has no amenities other than rooms and breakfast, bu I don't need a hotel to have any of that!

We really loved our stay at the Westin Dragonara Resort, it has a great location in St Julians. The lobby is very grand, the room was really nice and the sea view was stunning.

Location is amazing; shops and restaurants around. Very diverse and locals super nice. First time in Malta and I wasn't disappointed!!! Best Maltese dish I ever ate was at a restaurant called Gululu. Only negative thing about my room was I could hear the noise from outside all night long to early hours of the morning. To be expected coz hotel is located in a party district or location of my room wasn't lucky. Maybe better double glazing for windows is needed.

Travel to Malta for the first time to attend a wedding in mid May and had a pleasant stay in this hotel. It is strategically located in St Julian with easy access to bar, supermarket and seaside. And the rooms are spacious and I will recommend to book a Seaview room as the view is really beautiful. At first, I was a bit put off because of the strict check-in after 2pm policy and no exception even if you travel with elderly (like myself). Good thing was we were allowed to self-help by storing/retrieving our luggage in their storage room, bad thing was we didn't feel very safe as no one monitoring as we moved luggage in and out of the storage room. I will recommend this hotel to anyone for its competitive price, spacious room, room with beautiful seaview, accommodating to your request if you place it in advance and they have friendly/helpful staff like Therese (not sure whether I got her name right as I met her on our last day and she had been really helpful).

Started for only one night, and it was my best stay (out of 4) in Malta & Gozo. Recommended!
