I really enjoyed my stay at your Hotel. Close to everything. Quiet, lovely modern and clean room , comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. Felt that Front of house reception would benefit with more skills in English as they seemed quite shy but helpful.They were very friendly and greeted you when you walked past them.I felt that the room for one person was a little expensive but i booked late about 1.5 weeks from arriving and only having a a twin room available i accepted this. All in all i would recommend The Ulsan City Hotel to all of my Australian friends who plan to visit Ulsan. You will not be disappointed.

Having stayed in both Lotte and Lotte City Hotels in Korea I knkw what to expect. Clean, comfortable rooms and courteous staff. The Lotte City Hotel Ulsan did not fail to meet my expectations. The beds are comfortable and the family room consisting of a double bed and a single is perfect for our needs. Only negative I have and not restricted to this hotel is the price of breakfast which we chose to not have and pay 1/3 of the price in a local coffee shop across the road.

I spent my last week before leaving Korea with Staz Hotel. The staff (both the reception staff and the cleaning staff) was very accommodating and kind. The hotel is walking distance from Upsquare (a shopping centre) as well as parts of Samsan-dong with many restaurants. It is also very close to the express bus terminal and the Taewagang train station. I was very comfortable during my stay and was quite happy that they had washers and dryers on the premises.

I staid at Shilla stay for 4 nights on business trip. Original tasks (high floor room, late check in) were followed in good order. The hotel is very modern and of nice design, in down town Ulsan. Morning buffet was plenty, with good food and staff was refilling immediately. Tables were also cleaned and rendered ready at once. Room was not spacious but enough for one person. It was very clean (from floor to fabrics, tiles, fridge etc) and bed was really comfy for a good night sleep. I give 4 star at cleanliness because of a small stain i found on a sheet corner, which i hope it was random. All in all, i will definitely stay at Shilla Stay during my next visit and i would recommend it to anyone also.

Had a nice stay here. It's pricey for what you get but it's the only nice hotel in Ulsan. Rooms are spacious and you really can't beat the location. The reataurant buffet has a great variety of tasty food and the sauna is great too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is not on a budget. It's right next to the intercity bus terminal and two major department stores. Tons of shopping!

Great place if you want to enjoy easy access to the Taehwa River on one side ( I did for cycling) and a nice shopping and eating arcade on the other side to walk around where I got dinner at night. The rooms are new, modern, clean and conformable with a big refrigerator and even a washing machine. Breakfast was fine which I had for two days, yet they did not change anything. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Pros. The price is very okay for family room. The room is so clean and big space. Love the bathroom especially. The tub is very big and the shower room is separate from the tub. Cons. The parking lot pretty small so we have to park outside. The breakfast buffet price is so affordable everyone showed up and the tables are nice t enough so we have to wait for 20 mins. But the breakfast is delicious so it’s worth it then. Location is very closed to lotte department store and emart. Takes 10 to 20 mins on car to the beach nearby.

By far the best hotel we stay in Korea, taking everything in account. Ulsan although an industrial city but there are lots of natural site to visit. The owner of this hotel try her best to accompany. The only draw back is lack of English speaking (the whole Korea. in that matter) will be back soon

The cheapest accomodation in Ulsan, very warm and feel like home due to the ambience. Location is very strategic and have easy public transportation. But the most difficultiest when we use taxi from other place to reach the hotel due to the language.. Overall is great...thank you

The best feature about Venus is the location, downtown Ulsan, in walking distance to the two major Bus Terminals, dining, shopping and nite life. For the English speaking traveling expat, just looking for a place to sleep, I do not think you could find a better place for your value. Nice spacious room, bathroom has a better than average Korean shower and there was a computer in my room. You can walk to tow major department stores, all kinds of restaurants, and there are a handful of foreign bars in the area.

value for money, hope it has better access ,too cold to walk from bus stop. but not bad considering price.

Room was clean, and the shopkeeper's English is good. It is not a seaside hotel but close to the sea. One bus station is just around the corner, it is convenient for going to the beach, but it may take 50 mins to downtown. One of the best things is the free bike! You can rent a bicycle during your living days. Anyhow, it was a good hotel, I will book this hotel next time when I go to Ulsan.

Very spacious room and huge bathroom with a whirlpool bath. It's kind of a love motel style but it's not trashy in any way and would definitely stay here again if back in Ulsan. Breakfast was a bit unusual - just cereal, toast, and a fried egg with some random salad selection - but it was better than nothing.

room rather small and bathrooom very basic. but for the price perfectly adequate, no frills hotel. none of the taxi drivers seemed to recognise "ulsan business hotel" so my advice is to drop the "business". one really bad thing - breakfast! down in the basement, little choice and rancid butter.

I think it is the best hotel in Ulsan. The room is spacious and clean. Staffs are polite. Convenient store, Starbucks, Hyundai department store are near by. The only disadvantage is it is far away from Ulsan station

Not the best hotel in Ulsan but it was clean and relatively comfortable - if you don't mind a hard-ish bed. The staff was friendly and polite and the food was perfectly acceptable to a non-Korean palate. Overall what you would expect from a 3* hotel almost anywhere.

Wasn't advertised as such, but is a love hotel. However, the location of this hotel is it's best feature being close to a major department store and transportation hub

It is closed to airport, about 20 mins away. No hotel lobby, no English spoken receptionist, no windows. all equipment in Korean, no English manual. however 2 bottles of water are free every day. There is KTV on 2nd floor, noisy at night. this motel is mainly for one night stay or hourly charge. Not recommended for family stay.

The hotel manager/owner spoke no English and there was some confusion about how long I was staying, even though I had paid for two nights and intended to stay for two nights. Luckily I had a Korean friend to call and translate. They were trying to charge me for another night. Other than that the accomodations were fine. It is an older building, but the room was clean and the best part was the free internet, although I could not get a wireless connection.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at the Seacore Hotel. It is very clean and the rooms are very modern and comfortable. It's not your typical love motel in Korea, where the room is very dark and hardly any light comes in. It has a bathtub which my wife just loved, as it is quite rare to have bathtubs in Korea. The are only two things that I didn't like. It is quite far from Ulsan, so if you don't have a car, it will be very inconvenient. The bed is pretty hard, but still we managed to sleep well. The manager was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and will stay here in the future if we ever go back to Ulsan.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpfull. During April is a little out of season, so very quiret in the Jinha Beach area. Very nice beach and easy to find food and drink.
