I stayed at Royal Residence Main for a night in order to know Um al Qwain, an emirate close to Dubai. It is at a 100 dinars from Dubai and it is made of bungalows. Food options are very poor, only arabic cusine. Need to keep a kettle with few coffee and Tea sachets. Rooms are recently upgraded but poor ac and tv connection. Staff is just too casual but it wouldn't matter as you are anyway ot paying much. Best part is that you can drive and park your car right outside your villa.

we stayed at Pearl Hotel for 5 nights in late october with 2 small children. During the week there were hardly any guests. All the employees were friendly and willing to help.
