Vienna is a grand old city full of history and wonderful architecture. I would recommend to listen to a concert, many locations are available.
Vienna is such a beautiful city with loads of historical past. Beautiful cultures and people. It is a disadvantage that most of the people cannot understand nor speak English, only their native language.
Should be more signs with English to understand where to go otherwise you will be lost. Love The soft drink Almdudler ..
The sights to see in the centre are very compact compared to other cities. For an active walker they are all readily accessible.
The architecture, historic and many of new buildings are far better than many other places. There are abundant museums for those with an interest in that area
Vienna is a very large city with hoardes of tourists even in early spring. Make sure to get to attraction early.
Lots of great cafes with to die for cakes.
Vienna is beautiful, people extremely friendly and their english is excellent, cafes are amazing but you need to try the Taffel spitz it is an amazing meet dish Vienna is a lovely city with so much to do
Vienna is really lovely with the historical background. me and my bf who is from Austria went to the time travel museum to learn about the history of Austria.
I learnt so much of the history and knowing things actually happened in Vienna, I am amazed and wow-ed by everything. the place is so beautiful. will love to go back again.
Do spend 2 hours to get on the HOP-ON-HOP-OFF bus. 2 lines to take, red and blue. These buses will bring you to places which you need to visit in Vienna.
Beautiful and romantic city, I would recommend at least 5 nights to explore this beautiful city. If time permits, go for a concert or musical in the State Opera House or in the Schonbrunn Palace....it's an experience not to miss in Vienna even if you are into rap, trance or heavy metal....
A very beutiful and well organised City. The transport system is one of the best I found in Europe. It is good for the art lovers and those who love historical buildings.
There are a lot of activities thatn can be done in this famous city from shopping the site seeing. I also found the weather to be very nice as I visited Vienna in different times of the year and I would always like to visit it gain.
Vienna has a lot of historical places to visit especially the Old City and the main cathedral at Stephanplatz.
The city was full of light during our visit as it is already end of Nov. There was a colorful Christmas Market at Rathausplatz and it was crowded with locals. The public transportation was very efficient and it goes to all major section of the city. You can also choose for a walk around town and enjoy the shop along Maria Hilferstrasse. This city offer a twist between historical/cultural and modern lifestyle.
Be sure to get Vienna Pass as it is a very good travel option to get around Vienna. If you are pressed for time, make sure you at least visit Schönbrunn Palace, SiSi Museum.
An amazing city full of life. Well organized and disciplined. I would love to visit Vienna again and again.
No wonder it has been rated as one of the best cities in the world.
Vienna has a great old vibe and great cafe culture. It is worth visiting for this alone and very conveniently located to other atractions - castles, capitals (Bratislava or Budapest anyone?, culture - opera is famous
Peoples in Vienna are very friendly and when you stop besides the road and check with your map, they will come and ask what can they help you.
There is so much to see culture is everywhere. Beautiful gardens and architecture. Must go to palaces all of them in such good condition.
Try small eateries. Must have an afternoon tea and dont need to go to sacha torte. Must have a good pair of shoes. The cathedral in the dom is awesome
Vienna is nice city and has historical buildings. Opera is very nice. Restaurants are very nice and have good foods.
Vienna gave me the impression of a city immersed in the culture of classical music. Not much impressive landmarks in the city, but the general cleanliness & nice city layout gave a good feeling to the area.
After all, they're one of the world's most liveable city
Vienna is a lovely city to visit as the transport system is very efficient and it is very safe. All the major sights and shopping areas are within walking distance if you stay in the city centre.
It is also a good base to visit other parts of Austria and Europe due to its extensive train connection with other parts of Austria and cetnral and eastern Europe.
Such a romantic city with beautiful structures and sights. It is very easy get round the city due to its superb Transportation System.
It is one of the best cities I've seen in Europe so far.
lovely city, very friendly and safe. Recommended for historical expeditions. food is fantastic if you like pork.
Lots of great sightseeing. Expensive to go into many buildings, museums etc. You can enjoy much of Vienna for free on foot or using the city bikes which are virtually free to use.
The CAT is a good buy from the airport to Vienna combined with the Vienna 72 hour pass.
Great city. Beautiful buildings. Great history. The Palace is amazing and a great place to walk around, the gardens are stunning.
A lot of tourist during summer time. City bike is a bonus point for this famous tourist area.Impressed on the building architecture.
Styles range from classicist buildings to modern architecture. Vienna is well known for Wiener Schnitzel. Must try ! Major tourist attractions include the imperial palaces of the Hofburg and Schönbrunn. Is a must go !
Lovely beautiful city just inhabitants need to loosen up. German cleanliness and standards. German nature of people.
