There has been this new wave of super high end camps coming onto the market (partially made popular by Elon Musk's trip awhile back). Those places are certainly nicer. BUT, when you're in these camps out in the desert, you spend literally only the time you sleep in the dwelling. So for the money, I cannot possibly understand why one would stay in those facilities. ...

Extraordinary experience Bedouins are warm and welcoming people and gladly shared their life style with us. My arrival in the evening was well organised and once it gets dark you see a million stars in the sky! Awesome The big communal tent was very social and warm. Great food - book the dinner! - and then there was even dancing and a communal walk under the star...

Jamal and his brothers were very nice and helpful. Jamal was in touch to ensure he was there to meet us on arrival to Wadi rum. Jamal waited for us at the checkpoint for over an hour and drove us to the camp. We got to stay in a nice, clean and cozy tent with a great view, and we got to enjoy a nice dinner cooked the bedouin way. The camp is in a perfect location wh...

Pros: Clean room, AC available. Dinner was great, lamb and chicken was juicy and tasty. The fire bong at night was cosy. Cons: Wasn’t given selection for tours. Did not provide free water per room, but acceptable given water may be limited in desert area. Overall: would recommend if you’re looking for affordable stay at Wadi Rum.

Thanks for a great experience in winter in the desert with the Arabian Nights staff and community. We had a short time to stay before other travels in Jordan, and it's a little confusing to understand the options and means of transport for access to the Wadi Musa area and camps, even from Aqaba or Amman. The Bedouin family and staff were terrific, the fire and blanke...

I normally dont write reviews, but this one certainly deserves one as it really exceeded my expectations. It is a small family camp site at a great location. Nadjah will get in touch with you to organise pick up and transport to the desert. Tents are super clean, there is a wifi and hot water in showers (I am not kidding). They also offer jeep tours that I can only re...

We had a wonderfull time! The staff was amazing, helpful - we felt like kings :) The tent was really big and comfortable. There were candles averywhere - really romantic! They offer all kinds of transport and tours at the same prices as at the visitor's center in Wadi Rum and you can start directly from the Camp!

Upon arrival, the staff will serve you a welcoming drinks. Unfortunately, the manager was not there when we stayed. But he even talked to us over the phone to welcome us and told us whatever we need just tell him. They have a jeep tour for 2 hours or 3 hours and camel ride in the morning. Breakfast and dinner is included in our booking and it was delicious. When we lef...

We spent two nights at Rum Stars Camp and out in the desert and loved every moment of it. Ahmed and his team made us really welcome, talked warmly about their Bedouin life and heritage, fed us wonderful food, played music and sang to us, and showed us just how extraordinary a place this is. We spend a day and a half on two trips out into the Red and White deserts on a ...

When we arrived to Wadi Rum, we learned that this desert camp no longer exists, but the host was very nice and offered us a few alternative options, from which we chose to stay the night in the desert at his grandmothers little camp. It was a really authentic experience with delicious dinner by the campfire and sleeping under the stars.

My twelve year old son have just spent 24 hours at Sun City. We loved every single minute: the awesome sunset Jeep tour, the delicious cooked in the earth dinner, the fine fresh fruit juice, dancing under the stars..and then a fabulous four hour camel riding adventure the next morning. But even better than the spectacular setting, extremely comfortable tent and wonderf...

Mr.Salem , his younger brother and Mr.Neil who take care of guests are very good. The food and toilet facilities are average. There are only two toilets. So more than 12 persons will find this inadequate. The rent is reasonable , but food and other services such as sunset camel ride and desert drive are very very expensive. I booked on the basis of rent for tent but f...

We had a lovely stay at the Wadi Rum Night Luxury Camp - the location was fantastic - right up against one of the mountains in Wadi Rum. The staff were friendly and helpful and the tent we stayed in (one with a king size bed) was all we could have asked for. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Totally unforgettable experience. Even before we arrived, Mahdi, the host, has already been in constant contact with us providing us instructions on how to reach and meet them, and what to expect. He organized us a tour and given us Abdoun as our guide. Abdoun speaks good English and was very helpful. At one time, he told us to look for some Nabatean and Islamic in...

I visited the Bedouin camp with my son, age 14. We spent 3 nights, which was almost too short. A four hour jeep tour and the next day a three hours camel drive. Eghab, the owner, is amazing. Native Bedouin, young, very easy to contact and fluent in English. He organises everything you wish and even found a camel driver who was prepared to let us ride our camels oursel...

I arrived and was told that this camp does not use Agoda, the listing was placed without their knowledge, and I would have to pay again at the property. This seemed fishy, but I went ahead and paid again, and then called Agoda about the problem for a refund. The camp is now telling Agoda this is not true, and trying to collect both payments. I also found that the ow...

We enjoyed two-day trip here seeing the desert and experienced Bedouin life here even my husband hurt his nose on the way of the Jeep tour. After getting hurt, Salameh sent us to a medical center fast to get first aid. Then three staff help us to 2 bigger hospitals after the policemen’s search in Acraba city for detailed check up from afternoon till night, being with u...

Everything was really nice. Hani (owner of the camp) is very kind. He and his colleagues provided us with everything we needed. Also these guys can arrange for you tors in Wadi Rum for affordable price. That was a really good experience. Highly recommended

Traveler impressions of Wadi Rum
We only stayed a night and had a five hours jeepney tour. However, basing from our experience, we should have stayed longer in order to experience some hiking and see other areas of less beaten tracks.
