i think its good for any travellers.the location is good.best of it is the low price itself.even a family with younger children will be comfortable to sleep with their bunk type of room.nearby is a yakiniku restaurant and some other that you can go and hang.

We were so shocked by how beautiful, not mention huge, this place and our room was. Having paid comparable rates in other parts of Japan for much, much smaller rooms and in places with far lower quality standards, I was legitimately concerned at first I had made a mistake with the reservation! The service in particular was above and beyond, I cannot say enough about t...

The front was exceptionally thorough in making my stay the best it could be. Especially Ms. Yabana, who was wonderful in helping get me, as a non-Japanese speaker, settled in. The facilities are wonderful and this is a great place to stop and relax for anyone that loves onsens.

This is a business travelers hotel, it is not a tourist hotel. Having said that its quite cheap, meals are good, room size is OK, and comfort is good. It is located on a major road so there are many eating choices within a few hundred yards, its am Y900 taxi ride from Issara JR station and a good 10 Kms outside of Kofu city.

We booked a smoking room because of availability at the time of booking. We were suffocated in smoke in the long hallway leading to our room. Even the elevator was fuming in smoke. Very poor ventilation. Our room didn't smell as bad as the hallway. It was spacious but very outdated. Amenities for sure are in need of update. Bathroom size is standard which is ok but it ...

You can’t put too high expectation with such price for an onsen hotel. It’s an old room but we all expected so it doesn’t really matter, all we need is a good onsen which this hotel nicely delivered. We booked 4 nights here cause we are coming for hiking around Yamanashi, but the hotel need to renovation and asked us to move to another onsen hotel owned by the same gr...

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with my parents. The tried very hard to make sure we had a great stay. The rooms were nice and traditional with very comfortable futons to sleep on. The onsen facilities were very nice, not fancy but clean. It is a older building which could use a bit of work but it is great value for the money. I would highly recommend this place fo...

we drove around lake kawaguchi and arrived at kagetsu in the sleepy town of fuefuki. we pass the hotel garden surrounded by massive rocks and beautiful water features where we took some photos with our 3 month old baby. our room was very clean and huge with a western area to sit, the dinner and breakfast was delicious and artistic. the onsen was a great way to relax wh...

Room size was decent with more than sufficient space to open up big luggage. However, the toilet was very small and no hair dryer was provided. In addition, the wifi of the hotel was not working. Hotel is located about 17 minutes walk from Yamanashi Station and a taxi ride would take about 730yen. There was also no much food places around the hotel; they had a restaura...

More about Yamanashi
Yamanashi is of course in the same province as the famous Mount Fuji, and that is often the most popular destination for most visitors who make their way to this prefecture. However, there are also some attractions within the small city as well, including Takeda Shrine and Nakamura Keith Haring Museum. One of the best things to do while visiting this city is to take advantage of its proximity to many hot springs and the train to Fuji, especially if looking to do a bit more than exploring the city on foot or by public transportation, sampling the local cuisine, and simply enjoying the fresh air.
There’s much more to see and do in Yamanashi, and the interactive map on this page is a great way to explore where the attractions and hotels can be found in this exciting city.
