Best hotels & accommodations in Tunisia

The staff was wonderful and they really took care of me and my husband since we celebrated our honey moon there. Due to our honeymoon they upgraded us to the best room they could offer which was incredible. The rooms are nice and very clean and the breakfeast was beyond good. I will definetley come back in near future. Thank you for everything! Best regards, Nadia

This was my second time and wont be my last. The staff is the major asset of this hotel. Loooking forward to my next visit. Just a side-note: prices for items taken from the mini bar are on the high side but then it's not only in this hotel that one has to pay such prices. Otherwise everything was close to perfect.

It was an overnight stay in Sousse. We chose the hotel because it is a 5 star. We were fascinated by the view and room orientationdirectly facing the sea as we requested. We found that the hotel is all designed in Arabic environment with carpets on the floor area but the bathroom with insufficient light especially in the show tray area once when you close the curtain and it will all dark inside the room.It is difficult to take the bath in the bathtub with only the hand shower. Stayed with my adult daughter, so we chose to book room with the large bed. It was overlooking the pool. That was problematic because the kitchen staff, workmen and guests would walk by our windows often. Very pleasant location (overlooking lake) close to airport for long overnight transit stay. Wasn't charged for late check out. Didn't see too much of hotel and area, but staff I met were helpful and friendly, and facilities including restaurant appear good. Worth a longer visit to explore more!

The hotel is near the beach. There are playlands and a shopping area that within walking distance. The food is great. The rooms are very clean. It's a good hotel geared for families. Wifi does not reach the whole hotel but signal is strong in the lobby area.

When I first arrived at hotel and showed my online booking , counter staff refused the booking and after some heated conversation he gave me other room ( totally opposite of what I booked) and as soon as I get in the room lights went off completely and I went to reception to change the room and he asked me to wait for his call in room for change of room. I never got...

I live in Tunisia and have stayed at a lot of hotels in Hammamet, but this is my favorite. The layout of this sprawling place means that every room has the feel of a private suite. You'll have your own day room and patio, as well as two flat screen TVs - although who wants that with the Mediterranean at your doorstep? Avoid the spa unless you like snobbery at quadruple...

the africa hotel situated in center of tunis, in boulvard habib bourguiba. near to everywere shoping center, coffe bar and all taxi and train staition,so easy to go or come from airoport tunis cartage just about 20 min and they cost you just 5 tunisian dinar maximum. you reach to hotel all the staff are good, they talk nicelly and with 3 or 4 language,arabic,french,ital...

Stayed there for 3 nights. Excellent service, and the staff went out of way to help us. We must show our appreciation to Mr Mehdi Fourati, Director General of the Hotel. He personally met us and is a very kind and pleasant gentleman. The breakfast had really good eggs, and the hotel offers good rates for changing money!

good hotel and good location and must of stuff in hotel the are awesome , specially "hala" in reception and "najeb" the leader and DJ of the animations team , and must of animation team and stuff dealing as citizenship i don't know but i feel like that :( . and for booking ! we booked 3 time in 1 week evry tow days and in each one we selected bungalow but for 3 time w...

Whe you arrive at El Mouradi through its marbles entrance and step into its spacious round high ceiling reception you think "wow' all that for $40 or so? That was worth the trip! You look to your left and the reception is budding with staff. Waiters are walking around everywhere in and out of rooms with trays in their hands. Then you walk to your room, through the quit...

We moved from a 5 star hotel 5 blocks away and moved into this hotel because the cost was much lower. We found this hotel at nearly half the cost to be just fine. The breakfast was a continental type, plenty of everything, the room and bathroom small but fine, and we had them shuttle us to the airport for 15 dinar for both of us, which was very handy and profession...

Good stay, modern hotel, very clean and great location. The hotel has no cafe or bar so if you want coffee etc you have to go out. I think a drinks vending machine in this hotel would be a great facility for guests or putting in-room tea/coffee making facilities for guests (not usually available in Tunisia). Single rooms are very small but have all you need. I will use...

This is the first time we have been to Tunis and have very good sympathy with the city, people and Tunisia Palace Hotel. The hotel is not new and comfortable but very clean. Friendly employee. In particular, I would like to send my thanks again to the manager of the restaurant, where we usually have breakfast here. He is too great. We will come back here if we have a c...
Cheapest hotels in Tunisia

I stayed here for 5 nights with my friend. It was low season and the hotels in Hammamet were dead cheap. We ended up being the only guests on the hotel on 3 nights, so the service was good. The hotel is a bit run down already, but adequate if you just need a place to stay for the night. There's a pool outside and inside, and some kind of spa area (sauna) but they were ...

The oriental lobby looks great. The room is clean and fine with no special amenity. We had a room with a balcony and a sea view on request. As usual, Tunisian breakfast was not very good. But the staff was truly friendly, knowing this is only a 3-star hotel.
I had a very nice stay in this hotel because of its location along the beach and in the middle of Sousse. I had a room with seaview but noise from the street was not a big problem and the hotel bar downstairs closes at 22.00. They also have rooms on the other side which get sun in the afternoon. Bathrooms show their age but are well-maintained and clean. Staff was ni...

My family and I arrived at Neptunia after a 5 hour drive only to find that they refused to honor our reservation as booked. Instead we were told we needed to upgrade our reservation to an all inclusive status for an additional 50 euros per night. We spoke to the manager who told us to find another hotel. Fortunately, Agoda rebooked us immediately and we had a nice s...

Although it got off to a bad start with a mix up over my booking. I generally found the stay pleasant. The swimming pool was clean and a good size. The staff were friendly and fairly efficient. The food was good without being excellent. One complaint I did have was that the hotel beach wasn't next to the hotel and although there was transport to the beach it wasn't cle...

ıt is really at good location because kantoui is the best region to stay at sousse. if you want to go to down town or grand bazaar , just in fornt of the hotel there is public transportation. the hotel is also near many resto, pub and night clubs if you are interested. the rooms are not so modern but clean. ıt is old hotel but budget hotel.

Great location next to the port and in a busy commercial shopping area and very close to the Medina and other main sites. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful. Wifi didn't work well for us but I had a local SIM card with data and just used that. Breakfast was served in a little room next to the office, early enough for our ...

The hotel is near the beach. There are playlands and a shopping area that within walking distance. The food is great. The rooms are very clean. It's a good hotel geared for families. Wifi does not reach the whole hotel but signal is strong in the lobby area.

We arrived afternoon the personal at the receptions were honest and frindly.. the room service was ok. the resturants was clean and good cocking. we satsfied. the hotel was clean . need some facility for children. to have were they can play the location was good from transportaion poit of you jus when we need to go to the beach a littel bet away from the hotel.

This is not what I expected, I guess the pros would only be the wifi but it's in the reception only&the pool. The cons is everything, first they have no scanner, so whenever u come into the hotel they'll search ur bag & open it,which really never happened to me even in 5 stars hotels bags sometimes don't fit into scanner،they don't even search it. Second they have no i...

Apart from the reception staff who need more training in the 'being friendly and helpful' area, this was a great hotel for the family. Indoor and outdoor pools, table tennis, snooker etc. Tennis courts, the aqua park and immdediate access to their private beach area. Whilst I didn't have the all inclusive deal, those that did I see could have unlimited free drinks. ...

The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent and of good quality, home made Tunisian style food of a high standard. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Views from the room are amazing and there is a nice pool. Peaceful at night. Location is a con with the hotel as it is far from the city centre and requires a 15 minute taxi or bus r...

This hotel is old. Everything is run down. Only one person speaks some english, if he is in you are in luck. It has a alcohol restaurant and a coffee shop on the first floor. Coffee shop is open until midnight. There is so much noise coming from this shop that it is hard to fall a sleep. The hotel is in good location and has car park. Since it is nearly impossible to f...

Our stay was very enjoyable despite the unusually bad weather that prevailed most of the time. Extremely strong winds kept us from enjoying the outdoor surroundings as much as we would have liked. The young and creative animation team kept us entertained with a constant stream of activities for young and old. We took the half board option, but often ate three meals in ...

in this hotel people cannot live without smoking. i found a cigarette bum in the elevator in the morning and everywhere in the flower pots. just every other minute you can hear a lighter going. Food is good, people are nice, wifi is there but poor. Spa is double price from outside.

Balcony door would not lock it was reported but not fixed. Food was barely edible and served tepid. Ban on bringing water into the hotel is ridiculous as none was supplied in the room. Carpets in the hallway filthy. Bed sheet too small woke up to find it shifted revealing hair stuck to the mattress topper (I am bald it was not mine). TV in room was almost antique cou...

spa sauna and hamman : everything is payable 16 euro per day; hotel is very isolated and no shuttle bus the to city. for a hotel which pretends 4 star and spa , we did not appreciate to have to pay for spa and we never used it. To note that we chose this hotel because the name of hotel is " Djerba Plaza Thalasso Spa" so you think there should be free access ...

Rooms are smallish. There is no fridge in the room. The pool is nice. The beach is not far 5 mins walk. However, there are no changing rooms. Seats are scarce. The breakfast has also hot service (omelete and some crepe). Lunch and dinner is served but not particularly tasty. There are some inexpensive restaurants around. Hammamet center is some 10 km away. Taxi...

Stayed there only for 4 days, but definitely will come back and not once for longer period! Really wonderful relaxing hotel with the best animation team in Tunisia (with comparison of other hotels and places in Tunisia). Very friendly. Plenty of entertainment activities in the hotel like aquagymnastics, zumba, evening show where everyone can take part in...all day long...

Breakfast was not good, bad coffee, and very poor buffet. Rooms are clean, but I cannot say the same for the swimming pool. The panoramic elevator is broken, internet is available only in the lobby. The hotel may be old, but for a 4stars hotel one may be expecting more attention to detail, such as recuperating leaves from the swimming pool and making good coffee. ...

The hotel location is very good . the reception staff are friendly and make check in easy, there is no conceage service to help the customer to their room. The staff are friendly. Room service ends at 12.00 midnight.Hotel phone guide is complicated. Not possible to order food or drink late at night. Staff are quite friendly , but service is not of great standard. Staf...

A most enjoyable stay. The design of the hotel echoed the meaning of its name (Acropolis) with columns etc. . In December it was too cold to swim but the pool was beautiful. Most of the staff spoke little English, but there was always someone on duty who did. As it is a Muslim country there was no alcohol, but they had a bar with quaint cocktail names for various fru...

This hotel is fantastic. I highly recommend it to anybody needing a room on short notice. The staff is very friendly and professional. The hospitality is amazing, location is good, room are spacious, food is marvelous... There's nothing to complain about at all. It's easy to extend your stay or make last-minute changes. If there's a problem or you need to go somewhere ...

It was a horrible stay. I couldn't imagine to pay the amount of money that i paid for all inclusive again , when food was disaster . The best food was breakfast which i cannot complaint , both lunch and dinner were horrible. You don't find beef , very few chicken , you have to queue up for some grill ( just 2 very small portions of chicken or 2 small fish portions ), ...

I enjoyed my stay very much, the beach is very lovely and easy to access. The food was ethnic but also a variety to choose from. Friendly staff, great daily entertainment by the poolside. Pools are lovely, clean, plenty of outdoor seating. A few shops within the club that offer spices, ceramics, jewelry. My room contained the basic needs and was clean. I felt very c...

Decently located to the beach and quiet in the off season, my hotel visit was relatively ok until I trusted the hotel owner to arrange for transport back to the Tunis airport. We agreed on a fair prior and he sent me along with a friend of his who owns a taxi. Once at the Airport, the driver insisted on 5x what we agreed, then called up the hotel owner on the phone to ...

This is a large all inclusive hotel, typical of the new area of Hammamet. We did not have the all inclusive package and I am glad because the breakfast, while presenting a lot of options was not all that appealing (my girlfriend had some stomach issues that we narrowed down to the breakfast food). It's a comfortable hotel that you do not have to leave if you do not wan...

I stayed at this property in early November 2014 while travelling on business. The hotel in terms of comfort and facilities met all of my expectations and more. I will return. One minor point - the staff at the front desk need additional training on guest relations. I have no problem with reserve but the lack of welcome at different times of the day was not what I woul...

Location for this hotel is wonderful, but staff is not looking after customers. No customer care skills, rude attitudes, security guy with gun by the door. Arranging drug and alcohol fuelled parties for teenagers. Found Ketamine amp on the beach, beach dirty, no safe place to go.

Our stay was wonderful. We felt the comfort and great service of this wonderful 5 star hotel. There was a huge variety of food, desserts and fruits for everyone to enjoy. We felt safe going anywhere in Hammamet. I have to give special recognition to housekeeping who went out of their way to make our stay special through beautiful flower decorations of the room. very nice stay at this hotel, staff kind and nice with us, food was ok compare to the price paid, we've got the first floor were room were renewed with lcd tv and new bed, i will return to this hotel, just weakness on spa, the price is high compare to quality,

After staying in Tunis and constantly been disappointed with quality and service almost everywhere, this hotel was a welcome exception. As Tunisia is not Europe or the developed world really, you will still need to lower your expectations, but even if this hotel would not get 5 stars in Europe, it is anyhow very comfortable. I was traveling with my husband and my mo...

Everything is totally overpriced, charging for everything, no water in the rooms, no nice little touches. The restaurant food taste so-so, the price is double the price of, for example Dar El Jeld, which is the top-notch restaurant in the Medina. Don't let the homepage and pictures fool you. Don't go there, there are so many better places in the Medina! The architec...

I went with my finacee on a romantic weekend. The hotel was rather expensive and a 2.5 hours drive from Tunis so i expected a spectacular experience. In that regard I was disappointed. The hotel is nice, but that it is. We had a sea view villa which was more a hotel room then a villa. Probably 25 sqm. The WIFi is exceptionally poor specially in the villa area which is ...
