Our stay at The Scotsman Hotel was the best foot put forward at the onset of our day one of UK tour.location could not have been better. The amenities in the room were as royal as the City of Edinburgh. My stay would not have been this positive, if not for the Hotel Manager at that time. Mr Grant went out of his way to make my son and I comfortable. He was polite, helpful and ready to walk the extra mile at being professional at work. Edinburgh and Hotel Scotsman Hotel make the same memory stamp in our minds. no one should think twice before booking any hotel for Edinburgh stay. thank you Mr Grant from the core of our hearts.

Simply Amazing! Centrally located right on the Royal Mile, this converted self service apartment at the top of over 90 or so steps of a stone spiral staircase (unit 11) was a Surprise Find! Spacious (the apartment), comfy (especially the bed) and clean! Management is helpful and staff are really friendly especially Eva who helped to take my suitcase all the way to the apartment. I couldn't thank her enough. I would give this place 11 out of 10 - the plus 1 goes to Eva for her kindness. Would definitely come back if I have the chance.

We stayed at the Belgrave for a gig at the Brixton O2 Academy. The hotel is located near the Oval tube station and there is free street parking on the weekend. We took a walk into Brixton which is about 1.5 miles away but decided to use taxis in the evening which reception helped us to book. We won't hesitate to book The Belgrave again when visiting London!

Beautiful residential area, near the embassy row. Stone's throw away from Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Easily accessible by buses and Kensington High Stree Station. Apartments have been newly revamped/upgraded. We were first assigned apartment 11 (2-bedroom) on the 4th floor but the lift break down so we were moved to apartment 1 (3-bedroom) on the lower ground floor. Both apartments are superb. Although housekeeping has to be reminded to pay attention to the details (of cleaning)

We were delighted with our choice for this visit to Manchester. We didnt want to stay in the centre but wanted to be within walking distance. The location is perfect. The hotel is spotless clean and bright and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist. Our room was lovely. It was bright and tastefully decorated with a free soft drink minibar provided along with robes and slippers. The hotel is located on First Street, a newly developed area with bars and restaurants and next door to Home, a theatre, restaurant & cinema complex. The are is still being developed but we are already looking forward to returning in the near future. Breakfast was good, the restaurant is bright and spacious and we didnt get that crowded breakfast room feeling. We had dinner in the hotel on the Saturday night and it was lovely. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I was a bit worried before I got here because of some low rating reviews. However, while I was staying here for two days, I had no difficulty staying here except I had to jump over my carrier. At least I could leave my carrier open on the floor, though. The room was clean during the stay (hotel will NOT change your bed sheets but Will make the bed for you). Shampoo, bodywash, and soaps were refilled. The room had a good air conditioner, unlimited hot water from the shower, and a small TV which had a minor issue(maybe resolution problem). Wifi was working fine and okay speed. I was also satisfied with the breakfast buffet. It had various menus and decent taste. I liked how they took care of little details such as preparing small plastic spoons for their yogurts. Although the price wasn't cheap for me as a traveling student, but it is probably because I booked the room a day before my stay. In general, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

i arrived early here and my room wasn't ready so they upgraded me to an executive suite. the room was already fantastic value for the location and the quality of the hotel, so this was the icing on the cake. room was modern, large for london, spotlessly clean and furnishings were excellent quality. staff were fantastic. best hotel i've stayed in for a long time, would definitely stay there again.

Just returned home today from spending 4 nights at K & K. I booked this property because the pictures were nice, the price was nice and I was familiar with the area, knowing I would be a one minute walk from one of the most convenient tube stations (Earls Court - which we easily traveled directly to and fro from Heathrow). What I wasn’t expecting was how CLEAN and warm and quiet the place is. And the staff - so polite, kind and doing the best job they can - at front desk, housekeeping, restaurant staff, even the gentleman that served us our afternoon tea in the cozy lounge. Overall, if you want to stay somewhere that feels like a hotel but also feels a bit like home then this is a good place. Beds are so comfy, linens are crisp white, and bathrooms were very clean and well kept. Plus loads of closet space. We had a room on the 4th floor with 2 twins, desk and a little lounger. I believe it was an upgrade room from the standard 2-twins. Plenty of space. We would definitely book again.

We stayed 3 nights at La Suite West. Once you go inside the hotel the entryway is dim (I guess it's their style). We booked a standard room and our room was located on the first floor. The room was very nice, it had a walk-in closet to put our luggage inside. The room came with a standard bathtub/stand-up shower room. One interesting find we notice the TV unit was remotely controlled. This hotel is easy to access to the metro, it is close to Bayswater and Queensway station. There are tons of restaurants and shops close to the hotel. On our first day, we walked to Hyde park which was very convenient. Overall, a great hotel to stay with and really great location with many amenities surrounded.

I was wowed the moment I stepped into the lobby. It looked so posh and classy! The staff are very helpful and friendly with excellent service. It just feels like a 5 star hotel. The next best thing about the hotel is its location. People who love to shop will definitely love it. You just need to step out of the hotel, turn left, and the rest is the whole street of shopping starting from High Street fashion along Bond street all the way to High End brands covering New & Old bond street. Marble Arch Tube station is just outside towards left side of the hotel and it is on the central line, meaning it's a centralized line and all you need is 1 transfer to most important landmarks like Piccadilly, Victoria and Leicester station or sometimes even direct without changing lanes! The only thing is given the fantastic welcome impression from lobby, the room is just plain normal and the housekeeping do not refill certain things. But still fine, given the above pros!! Love the stay!

At the west end of London lies the district of Hmmersmith. It is a small district but it has its own charm and tranquility afar from the bustling area of central London. The hotel is modern new and chic best suited for the family and if your on a budget. The staff are very friendly courteous and accomodating specially Victor who helped me with my questions and booking my tours around London. Free breakfast is plentiful and their packaged i cute paper bags. Only thing is the design of toilet and shower which were separate and a bit small. The hotel is 5 mins from Hammersmith station and many shops. All in all my experience is superb at this great hotel. I would recommend this and will definitely come back for more.

My stay at the hotel was generally decent as I was not in the hotel for the most part of the day. I had a single room for 1 and it was very small ,it was just right for one person traveling with only a hand luggage. I couldn't imagine being able to bring one big luggage on top of a hand carry bag into the room. The lift is very small and slow so I ended up walking the stairs more often than not. Although the hotel offers free wifi, it was very slow and drops out very much. The shower head was loose and water leaked down from it. Having said that, it's a nice location 5 minutes from oxford street. It is also very close to the tube station - Tottenhams Court RD but the central line does not stop there for the rest of 2015. I recommend it to shoppers who are not looking for luxury and excellent comfort. I am somewhat likely to return to this hotel in the future but hopefully i will book a bigger room if there happens to be a suitable price.

April 2018, stayed twice total 10 nights. First stay was in an Executive Room. Modern, clean, spacious and had a kitchenette, hot plates, microwave, sink, small fridge with a small freezer. Free Wi-Fi, wide screen TV and a Google phone to use inside and outside the room ( take it with you when you go outside ). Second stay we booked into a standard room but it was almost the same as the Executive room just a fraction smaller so Extremely happy with the rooms. The rooms are serviced daily. There is also an excellent laundry room in the basement with 3 washer and driers, free of charge. Other things good about this hotel is the Location. Waterloo Railway Station is around the corner, Lambeth North Subway is about 50 metres. There is a Sainsbury market next door, buses out the front, its close to tourist attractions. Its a great hotel for travelers, HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Location is great. Its near Queesnway and bayswater station. Hotel is easy to find. Location is not too noisy. I was booked on to this hotel after another hotel could not honour my booking. The one bedroom apartment is very spacious. Kitchen is a resonable size but equipment varies between room. The first room I got, it is at the bottom floor facing the airwell. The room is really hot and stuffy. The air cooler does not help at all. Housekeeping had to send ice pack over for me to use the cooler but it did not have any effect on cooling the room. I requested for a room change but being as it was in the middle of the night they could not do anything. I had bedbugs bite which in the end gave me a lot of problem during my stay. I complained a couple of days later after realizing it was bed bugs bite. The second room is on the third floor so its a slightly more cooling. The windows cannot be open fully for security reasons. I understand that for a grade listed building, you are not allowed to change the facade of the building but the management should try and include more units with air conditioning. As much as the management keep saying for UK you do not need air conditioning, hotel is pretty hot and stuffy the whole stay that I was there. In general, I enjoyed my stay there.

It was just average for the overall service of the hotel. Partly disappointed with the service the hotel provided. We arrived at 7am london time and the receptionist told us there was no room available for us until the next guest checkout at 12-3pm. Making a guest wait? Why hilton is not flexible enough for a better option to customer?. Second thing, she upselled us to an executive room at just for the first night stay on temporary before we moved to the room that we booked. To our second disappointment the room doesnt look like an executive, the room smelled of someone who just smoked in the room(where it's a non-smoking room), and the air con heater wasn't functioning properly. My husband and myself moved back to our deluxe room on the second night and it was much much more better and we were happy and satisfied throughout our stay in the guestroom. The view was also perfect and the hotel area was what satisfied us. It is nearby everywhere we're going. Nearby long stretch of cheap delicious halal foods, nearby underground(trains), and buses, marks & spencer supermart is just a door away from the hotel.

Hotel is about 5-min walk to Westminster underground train station & about 10-min walk to Waterloo train station, which has a lot of chain eateries & shops like M&S etc. The hotel is also just 5-min away from the London Eye and a further 5-10 min from the houses of parliament. Location is maybe its highest selling point. The room that we booked was spacious, with a separate living room for a a queen size sofa bed. Perfect for us as a we traveled with our son & my mother (both need space of their own, but are afraid of sleeping by themselves in a separate room). The interior is a bit quirky; a huge poster of a lady (head only, not whole body) covers up the entire wardrobe. As we sleep with all lights off, my wife found the lady staring at our bed a bit spooky when she sometimes woke up during the night. The bathroom door has no lock - not sure if it was deliberate or they forgot to fix it. A slight disappointment to find that guests need to pay extra £49 per night to be upgraded to a room facing the Big Ben. We had thought that our room would face the Big Ben when we booked it through Agoda -- the room was pictured as if it was overlooking Big Ben & it was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. In the end we decided not to pay for the upgrade as that was our second leg in London before we flew back home.

lovely stay at the Z, great service by the staff during our trip last weekend. able to drop our bags off in the morning before check-in to go round london. free cheese and wine every night between 5-8pm which is always busy and a lovely atmosphere in a boutiquey hotel and dining area. the rooms are small which is expected for a building of its size but more than enough when your visiting london as your out throughout the day and evening. beds were good though. typical modern hotel glass bathroom/shower area but the sink area is small and awkward but good shower. full sky tv in the rooms too with all the channels which is great and free wifi which is added bonuses as most chain hotels charge for wifi and dont have full tv package. air con unit is locked and can only change the temp but our room didnt get cold for the temperature and windows cant be opened so was a bit warm but fine but maybe the unit needed a check/service. would definitely stay here again though as for the price and location and free extras its unbeatable and its only a couple mins walk from traf square so your saving money you would spend on a cheaper hotel further outer london needing to get tube/train into central london. great service by all the staff too!!

Great location, beautiful clean hotel with nice size rooms for family of three. Located one block from Millennium bridge so easy access to South Bank, Tate Modern Museum, the London Eye. St. Paul, and quick walk to Tower Bridge and London Tower. Close to Metro stations so able to quickly get to any other location. Some staff very friendly, helpful (ask for Christian EXTREMELY Wonderful) others not so much. Two Ladies working front desk at one point friendly but not from England so unable to give any directions but you can locate a concierge who can assist. Employees in bar not as friendly but also wondered if understaffed in this specific area. Either way well worth the price. We did request a city view through this booking app which we did not receive and hotel booked when arrived so unable to move. If you have special request I would verify with the hotel prior to checking in to ensure they received the message and can accommodate.

I will never forget our staying is this hotel during this lifetime occasion. I really believe that the hotel have the best views in London, very romantic, and its location is perfect even to walk to Southbank area. The staff are very well trained and always delighted to make your stay memorable. I was surprised with this hotel, I was not expected to be so good as it was. We will definitely return!

Great location and wonderfully cooperative and helpful staff. Stored our luggage until our room was ready. The room was super small and with no window. We didn't realize that when we booked, but that's what an 'Interior Room' means; no window. However; they did make the best of the limited space and although it was tight for two adults and luggage, it wasn't bad for one night. There is a happy hour from 5-7(check the time) that includes free wine and cheese. Quite good. The breakfast looked good but was not included in our rate, so we ate down the road at the Shakespeare restaurant for breakfast. We don't recommend that place for breakfast. Very touristy and pricey for average service and food. Right next to the hotel is a great little pub that has pretty good chicken and mushroom pies. Literally right across the street from Victoria Station and just down the road from the Queen's House. Great location.

Stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast, breakfast was lovely each morning and hotel had a good selection, fruit, cereal and the option of a hot breakfast. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Have been to London quite a few times in last two/three years and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at.

i booked this after reading other travellers comments and looking for somewhere to stay near earls court for exhibition. everything was booked and it was hard to find anywhere. i didn't want to spend silly money but i didn't want to stay in a dump either. by silly money i mean over per night. so this is pretty difficult in central london obviously. booked park inn and have to say i was very impressed. for the rate i got it is extremely good value for money. my room was in the basement. it was immaculately clean, and v comfortable. although a slightly strange shape, long and narrow, there was a double and single bed plus comfy sofa and an enormous bathroom with a bath. everything worked well and it was absolutely silent at night so i slept very well. even though i had no view the window did open so you could get fresh air, and also they had gone to the trouble of painting the basement area that the room looked out on white and putting plants there, a nice touch i thought. had dinner in hotel one night, was the only diner but had a very nice dinner with good service. only minor point is that as a solo diner i like to take a book with me to dinner and lighting was too dark to read by! breakfast also good, well stocked buffet and prompt service of tea and coffee. wifi worked well and was reasonable for 24 hours at i think or so. overall an excellent choice for business travel. to be honest when i booked it i thought it must be a scam because the rate on agoda was so cheap compared to opodo and expedia. but what i find. overall i am very happy, so i would say go ahead and book with agoda and stay in this hotel

Please indicate on Agoda booking form that NO TWIN BEDS are available. I was not told this BEFORE my booking was accepted and payment locked in. With the AGODA policy of NO REFUNDS for any reason, this meant that I could not do anything but continue with the experience. It would have changed my mind on booking if I had known. This said, It was a lovely room, bathroom, great shower and the body/hair formula of Rosemary and Cypress was heavenly. Thanks for that treat! Sign says: Best Possible Coffee which I will definitely have next time I visit, and stay at, The Pilgrm. Asked about the spelling of the name, and didn't get an answer that made sense. Seems a great marketing opportunity lost - MAKE UP A GOOD STORY if there isn't one already, why not! It's a distinction! Cheers.

I have re-booked this hotel as I had very positive feedback since my first visit (31-Mar to 06-Apr 2019). So I'm going to repeat the same comments during my first visit. My booked room was: Deluxe Double Studio (~ 18 m2). Despite the room was little small, I really felt like I'm in my home. Advantages: 1- The Hotel looks like new. 2- Most of the important and required items/facilities are available like: small pantry with dishes, coffee machine, water Kettle, Microwave, Fridge, Free WiFi, Iron, Good AC ). 3- The bed was very comfortable. 4- Good toilet and new. It is not big and not small. 5- The Hotel's location in between of two train stations (Lancaster Gate, & Paddington) within 3-4 min walk. 6- A lot of supermarkets are nearby restaurants, as well as Pharmacy. 7- Easy check-in and Check-out. 8- Very quiet Hotel. 9- You can ask for bottle of water any time free of charge. (They are not keeping it every day in the room) Disadvantages: No hotel restaurant

The hotel was awesome and in a great location. It was a 2 minute walk to the Tube (district an circle lines)and above ground rail. A 5 minute walk to Tower of London and Tower Bridge 10 minutes to Borough Market. The room was a nice size, we were upgraded upon arrival and it very clean. The girlfiend and I really loved the MAC computer and free WiFi in the room it was great for keeping in contact with family back in Scotland an Canada. We didn't eat in the hotel but we found a great little cafe a 5 minute walk from the hotel (mounument tube st) was great for breakie and all sorts of other shops. I can't say enough about the hotel great value for money. It was the 3rd time I've stayed in London in the last 15 months and by far the best the best experience. Oh I didn't mention the view from the rooftop patio absolutely stunning. I would stay there again or at another hotel in the chain. I have stayed in 6 different cities in Europe in the last 2/12 years and by far the best quality and value. The only issue was we stayed Sat-Tues and there was a construction site nearby so on the Mon-Tues it was alittle loud in the morning as our window was open. It sereved as our wakeup call LOL !!!

The hotel is located near Lancaster Gate station, and within comfortable walking distance to Paddington Station and Bayswater/Queensway (where there are ample of food options). We had two separately bookings. Our first booking was in the business double room. The room was new and clean. We had expected the room to be small (from reviews), but it was comfortable enough for two people, with ample luggage storage space under the bed. (You can open up your luggage and slide it in and out from under the bed to access your things, while ensuring that you have good walking space.) Basic amenities (shower soap, body wash, coffee, tea) were provided. Our second stay was in the executive double. Room was slightly older (though with a nice English home feel), spacious with additional amenities (including a coffee machine!). We initially had some concerns with our bookings, and wrote to the hotel to seek clarification. Manager Andreu had went the extra mile to help resolve our issue.

when i booked to stay at the tower, i was convinced it was going to be a bit past it's best as the price for my stay was so reasonable. i grew up not far from this hotel and remember it being built which was a long time ago. often these type of hotels have passed through several owners and each time they lose a bit of their splendour. that was not the case though with the tower. from the exterior, it is not an attractive building, a big concrete monolith but don't be put off by that. liveried staff are in attendance everywhere and as you appoach the entrance to the hotel, there is a pleasant jasmine smell which i assumed was being pumped into the air. the room was everything you'd expect from a quality hotel with all usual facilities and a fabulous view over the river and tower bridge. it is also very peaceful there as the nearest main road is the bridge itself. for the money i paid for my stay, i wouldn't have been able to stay in a travelodge/days inn, type establishment for less and this hotel was far superior. i can't wait for my next stay there. the hotel is ideally placed for a quick walk to the tower, shopping areas like brick lane and middlesex street, the nightlife in hoxton or maybe just a peaceful stroll along the river. the transport facilities are excellent with tube stations, buses, taxi's and even a river bus service to take you to westminster or the opposite direction to greenwich. highly recommended...

All what I want to say is your service agoda is very bad - u don’t have even email address to contact Jst u want to take reservations and the rest the client is the one suffering . We booked for u our transportation and I Jst want to change the pick up from Heathrow and u r unreachable and this holiday taxi told us contact your agoda even the money is already. Credited to their account . That s why we made reservation again thru other direct provider and we end up paying twice - the first one which we did not use it due to your unreachable thing - u should put your email add for complaints not to make register or whatever coz I put my mail and can’t coz it says already had in the previous, why? I made a lot of registration to your agoda but I end up losing all the points so what is the use of making membership . From now on I will not book thru your engine coz u have very bad service

Best location for airport transfer to and from Gatwick, just across the train station (Victoria railroad st). Our stay was very comfortable, the beds are great and the hotels is very clean. Courteous staff, good attitude. Very helpful concierge. Great breakfast! High variety of foods. The only downside: a very small small bottle of water costs 5 pounds! I gave the water to my kid and I drank tap water, at any risk. Also, they carry only heavy glass bottles of water, no plastic bottles. Every "extra" is very pricey (exaggerated) - much more so than at most Hilton hotels. Overall, a 4 star experience in a 4 star hotel. I only wish they did not welcome you with an empty fridge... no set-up mini-bar (not even for pay) and no water. You need to ask for water and snacks, and they come at 5 times their regular price.
