we were very happy to have chosen DW Motel, that is an excellent compromise between quality and cost. The staff was very kind with us and our room was always very clean.

Amazing, kind, knowledgeable staff!”
The room was your basic room, but it was clean and comfortable. When you're in Palau, you better not stay in your room a lot unless it is to shower and sleep haha. You must explore! And the Japanese staff has AMAZING and affordable tour packages compared to other places! I EXTREMELY recommend using their services to book them all!

Better options”
This place 'may be cheaper' but that is the only thing to recommend it. Terrible beds, hard as rock pillows, no blankets ( if you are cold you can get a large towel) .The room was spartan, the bathroom ancient and dirty and the walls paper thin.

Excellent quiet location in downtown Koror”
Excellent location just few steps away from the main street in Koror, but still very quiet. Room was spotlessly clean, airconditioned and the bed very comfortable. There is a communal kitchen that you can use to make your own meals. The Japanese owner was very nice and helpful. She was there for all needs and tried to sort out immediately any issue I had in Palau by calling around and checking things with tourist office, airlines, travel agencies etc. Wifi was very good for Palauan standard, although not free but still affordable at USD1 per hour. I would definitely stay here again. Great stay!

clean, and good value, but moldy”
The room appeared much nicer online in the photos than in actuality. Upon arrival very late at night, there was an overwhelming mold smell likely coming from the AC unit. Upon entering the room, my nose immediately began running and my throat got scratchy. When I requested to cancel the reservation the next morning and pay for only one night (we had arranged for 5 nights total), the staff were argumentative and insisted we pay the full amount, despite only staying one night. This became even more difficult in that the staff did not have a good command of the English language, but rather spoke Japanese. After refusing to pay for several minutes back and forth, and explaining due to health reasons we would not be staying any longer, the owner finally came out, and conceded that if we cancelled our reservation through the website, she would allow us to leave(!) They let us use their computer to attempt this, but the poor internet connection made this impossible, so we wound up leaving, getting a receipt for the payment for one night and it was overall an upsetting experience. Not only would I not stay at this location in the future, but I also would never use Agoda ever again. I was redirected to Agoda unbeknownst to me through Booking.com. I'm appalled that booking.com, a typically reputable site in my experience (in places like Mexico and all over Europe), would partner with such a shoddy company. There are so many tourists to Palau, even in the low season, that it seems unreasonable and dishonest to have a no cancellation policy. We found a better hotel (The Guesthouse Palau) closer to all the shops, etc. for LESS that is owned by a nice Palauan family. All I know is you should ask to see a room if possible before booking, otherwise you may be disappointed.

Free coffee. Helpful staff. Very clean. Cold AC. Comfortable large room. Common kitchen available , had to pay for wifi -but it's Palau and that's common. Short walk (10-15 min) to shopping area.

A very clean simple but practical place to stay”
Clean, Neat, simple
A very good place for the money. The location is a bit off from the downtown area, but the place is very neat and kept clean by the staff. Has all the necessities for a short stay and the staff were friendly.

A good no frills hotel for Divers”
Great value for money, small kitchen for self-catering, walking distance to town and supermarkets
I stayed 6 nights with my husband and our friends in DW on our diving trip. We basically spent most of our days out diving or going on tours, and only to return to the hotel in late afternoon. We found that DW is perfect for our needs with clean rooms, helpful staff, area to wash and dry our gears, and the best is the little kitchen with simple cookware / utensils for us to make breakfast every morning. It is about 15 mins of leisurely stroll into town for restaurants, bars and shopping. It's slightly tucked in from the main road so it won't be affected by traffic noise. However, as others have mentioned, the walls are quite thin and you could hear others in the rooms next time you, so be considerate and keep quite at night! I would recommend DW to my friends if they go to Palau for diving.

functional basic hotel”
comfortable bed, hot shower water and clean room
It is a basic hotel with clean room , comfortable bed, mini fridge ... but the bad thing about this hotel is , the wall is paper thin, I can hear the guests talking in the nearby rooms, and people walking in the hall way! the wall is not made of solid concrete but very thin wooden plates! but after all, it is very functional hotel with very basic amenities. And compare with other hotels in the island, this hotel is not expansive and in good condition! Because Palau is quite leg behind and under developed pacific island, things are expansive . so if you bring your ear pluses to block the noises and you sure get a comfortable stay !

Location. Nice staff. Clean rooms.
It's located between dive shops and downtown activities. The room is clean and the staffs are very helpful and polite. Money of value and I would like to stay there if I go back to Palau.

Nice little motel in Palau!”
Clean, comfort, good price
This is by far the cheapest motel I could find in Palau that actually has a standard of cleanliness and service! The japanese staff are super helpful (we made friends!) and the overall quality of this place vs. the price make a lot of sense considering Palau can be expensive. I traveled alone but I felt very safe staying there.
