Had a very bad experience here. 1. Firstly, I booked this thinking this was by the international Four Seasons brand. But it's not. It's simply a misrepresentation. 2. Service by receptionists was really really terrible. Once we entered the building, no one was at the desk. All the staff were just eating at a table nearby and they simply stare at you, without welcoming you. We felt like true foreigners here. 3. When asked for local recommendations, we were simply pointed to one touristy street, without further elaboration. The person giving the advice was dismissive and unfriendly. Once we were there, we realise only tourists and no locals were found on that street. There was no shred of sincerity in welcoming us to Jeju and showing us the speciality of the neighbourhood. 4. Location wise, it is quite quiet at night and the whole neighbourhood is dead. In summary, will not recommend at all.
Clean room, easy to reach shopping area.
4D3N at Jeju City”
I would strongly recommended this hotel to public which you will feel perfect customer service from hotel staff. Well maintain and clean with cheap price.
Nice value of money”
The hotel located in the city centre, around 5 mins walk to New Jeju City Centre with great variety of foods and shops. Though the hotel location is in a small street, the hotel cleanliness is satisfied. The only improvement is the air conditioning, not strong enough especially during summer hot time.
Excellent hotel, but with terrible mattress!”
In overall, the experience was excellent for its price: location, cleanliness, staff. Just one thing but very critical, the mattress was so hard and not comfortable, the worst we have ever encountered in a hotel. The good side, it made us woke up early :D I think the hotel need to improve the mattress quality immediately. Other than that, everything is perfect.
Great for value”
The rooms are as decent and clean as shown in the photos. We stayed in twin bedrooms and they were reasonably spacious, even for three persons. The hotel provides breakfast at 3000 won that ends by 9 am. The staff was helpful and spoke fluent English. We had to catch the flight at 7:30am and they helped us to book the taxi at 5:30am. It costed about 3800-4600 won (depending on traffic condition) to get to the airport. The restaurants in the area are a bit more pricey than elsewhere and sad that we visited one that overcharged us with a disproportionally low standard.
The location is near to shipping and restaurants, there are 3 convinient stores nearby and a e-mart close by. Fuss free check in and out. Though parking space is limited but you can park at the roadside. Room is small (standard double) but ok, it is clean and basic amenities are provided.
Nice Place ”
The hotel location is conveniently near Jeju International Airport and downtown. Taxi is not expensive and there are a lot of restaurant nearby. The frontdesk staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and quite big. I will definately stay there on my next visit.
great location to stay”
We had a great stay at the four season hotel, the room is clean and comfort beds (1 single bed plus 1 queen bed ). i lost my sunglasses during my stay at four season hotel, the staff at Busan Cloud 9 hotel assisted me to contact jeju four season hotel and they managed to find my sunglasses. She liaise with four season hotel staff to courier it back to Malaysia.(i forgot to ask their name but i am so thankful for their help). i would truthly recommend these 2 hotels to my friends with their good service and we wish to come back to stay here again.
Clean an big room”
The room is big, daily breakfast is the same daily, but the food is not bad..the bad thing is the lack of car park..we always park at slope area at night because the available car park is only about 4-5 places
pros: 1. staffs were very helpful 2. hotel interior were new 3. near airport, about 6000 KRW taxi 4. korean children playground just opposite hotel 5. shops around hotel, check google or ask hotel staffs 6. wifi was excellent cons: 1. hotel exterior were quite old. but interior were new 2. this hotel was not famous for taxi driver, and many taxi drivers in korea, cant speak english. better you bring hotel name card, or call hotel to guide taxi drivers good choice, i am sure will be back to this hotel for next trip to jeju
Convenient in downtown”
Just needed a hotel before flying back. It was conveniently located in the center of town next to some restaurants and shopping centers. Not as close to the airport as I had hoped but it was ok given that I was doing some city exploration.
Close to airport and their new downtown area ”
Stayed here for 3 nights, fairly close to airport about 5 -10 mins by taxi. Room was clean and spacious with free breakfast everyday. Breakfast was average, staff was very helpful with directions, close to Grand Hotel where we had to meet for out Yeha tours. The hotel was also close to the new downtown area, which is very lively at night for food, shopping and karaoke.
For a cheapish stay on Jeju the Four Seasons was fine. The rooms are very clean, there is cable TV and the bathroom was very clean with limitless hot water. The staff were very helpful and it is located 5 minutes from the Duty Free shop and 10 minutes walk from the main food street. 2 minutes the other way are all the fast food restaurants. If I were to return to Jeju I would stay here again.
Cosy and lovely, wonderful location”
Four Seasons Jeju is one of the best valued hotels i have stayed in. Location was awesome, close to many food places and drives to attractions were reasonable. However, parking can be a bit of a problem around the hotel, so if you rent a car in jeju(highly recommended, get a GPS), there will be a slight issue in the parking area. But there are more parking lots in other public carparks, there is one with about 25-30 lots about 1min walk away and another with about 15-20 lots about 3mins walk away. Clean was clean and cosy, although we booked a double room, it came with a queen size bed and a super single bed, however room is not huge, but enough for two person, with two huge luggages and a comfortable rain shower. Food was, nothing to shout about at all, i highly recommend not purchasing breakfast at all and head out around that area for breakfast. There is a Issac Toast about 3mins walk away and that should settle all your breakfast should you feel too lazy to go anywhere. Staff could speak minimum english. But they put in a lot of effort. A LOT. we came back two nights and wanted to have instant cup noodles, staff realised that hot water was not hot enough in the dispenser, so he boiled water for us. Although they were not well-versed in their local attractions(as seen throughout korea), they bothered to search the internet and give us more ideas on the spot. Overall, this hotel is a good place for a tour in Jeju, as it is a reasonable drive to almost all locations, and about 15mins drive from the car rental place.
Overall - Not bad”
Firstly, I have stayed in a suite in this hotel not the standard room, so my review on the room is for that room type. Location wise, Four Seasons Hotel is located in Jeju-do, which is close proximity to the airport (roughly 10-15 minutes drive). I drove in Jeju Island and I had no problem finding the hotel through GPS. However, do note that the hotel is at the back alley (not facing the main road) so it could be slightly tricky to find without GPS. I would say that the hotel is only "OK" located, as it will take you around 15 minutes walk to the main food alley and much further to a proper shopping mall. They have a few parking lots but I doubt it would suffice for peak season (as they were barely enough for low season when I am there) Room wise, deluxe room is definitely spacious enough with big sized bed (feels bigger than king size). However, the room is not with bathtub and the photo of 2 desktop in their room info is not true, they DO NOT have desktops readily available in the room. Air conditioning in the room is not good as it does not have heater function / not functioning properly Breakfast wise, we have only really ate once for the 4 nights stay as they serve a very basic spread and it is basically the same everyday (super minor change). TIPS: Go for the restaurant just behind the hotel for its fried chicken! The restaurant name is Kyo-Chon, serves super delicious fried chicken (wings and drummet only)! We have to wait for more than 50 minutes for our fried chicken (sounds super ridiculous when the small shop is like super empty), but soon we knew why. They do delivery and their phone calls rings almost every minute, calling in for ordering at 10p.m.!!! After we sat there for 50 minutes and finally got our food, then only we realized that they could do delivery into the hotel itself! So, I'm not sure whether is this doable, but get the front desk to order these delicious fried chickens for you and happily wait inside your room for them!
Value for money, nice and clean”
We stayed in four seasons hotel for a night while in Jeju, and this hotel provided us with a good night sleep before our climb at Hallasan the next day. The bed is comfortable and toilet is big, equipped with good shower head and heater. Room is big and clean. Hotel is near to airport and busstops. However, breakfast provided are the same everyday, so might be of some problem for those with long stays. Overall, value for money!
Great value ”
The hotel is very close to the airport and local restaurants nearby. Very quiet as it is in an alley. We had a great stay; the room was bigger than we expected and breakfast was adequate. Mattress and pillows are a bit stiff, but otherwise the room was clean and perfect. Helpful staff fluent in English. Would stay again!
Taxi took about 15 mins from Jeju airport to the hotel at 4300won by meter. But we paid about 5100won from the hotel to the airport when we left the hotel. It depended on the traffic situation. Our suite was clean and big. Breakfast had limited choice. Overall it was still value for money. It is walking distance to Baozen Street where there are a lot of bars, restaurants and shops at night. But there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby as well. We joined a day tour from the hotel counter at 79,000won per person covering the eastern tourist spots of Jeju Island which was more interesting. The bus dropped us at the Nanta theatre where we watched the Nanta show at 45,000 won booked by the tour operator after 5,000 won discount. The show was worth watching. In front of the theatre, it is the noodle street where we had very good anchovy soup noodle at a side street. At the back of the theatre is a nice park where we spent sometime before the show.
