One of my favorite hotels”
this hotel is rather small but the rooms are comfortable and the area it's located is great. right in the middle of soi arab so an interesting middle easteen feel and incredible food. also eay access to bts, shopping, nightlife, etc.
Great rooms in a great location”
Very confortable and clean rooms at decent prices in an excellent location. Soi Arab is not only situated in an excellent location in Bangkok providing easy access to the MRT and BTS but the Middle Eastern cuisine is a delightful added bonus
good unusual location”
I did not expect to find what maybe described as an arab quarter of Bangkok and was pleased to find a crowded st, excellent Yemeni food and local fruits and proximity to the nana station. Robert yeo, singapore
Nice enough place”
This is not a luxury hotel. It is acceptable quality at an unusually low price for a hotel in Bangkok. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is near Sukhumvit, which is full of great places to eat and drink. Also convenient to Nana station for skytrain
Room standard but hotel troublesome”
The hotel is not on a real street but tucked between the sois. So I had to carry my heavy suitcase from my taxi to find the hotel, which took me a while. Ended up going to the wrong similarly named hotel which directed me to the correct one. The hotel front is small with wires hanging loose everywhere. Check in took a while and spent the first hour on the poor sofa waiting for the elevator to be fixed. Room was fine though and decently price. The hotel serves mainly middle eastern families with children so be mindful of that.
Nice rooms, no other facilities, in Islamic area.”
The rooms were really nice, posh for Asia, with a big bed and very clean, but there's nothing else to the hotel. Its also quite hard to find down a pedestrian street off the Soi (ask people for directions). Its in the Islamic area of Bangkok, 2 mins walk from Nana skytrain stop... loads of Middle Eastern and Indian restaurants around with some selling alcohol and lots doing Sheesha. A good base to explore.
Good Location & meets my Budget”
room was small but cozy. location was great, close to everything: bumrungrad international hospital, nana night market, bts nana station (siam station was only 3 stops away), awesome restaurants, fast food chains & a couple of supermarkets. everything is just a walk or bts hop away. hotel room also has a lcd tv with cable programming. i would stay here everytime i need to swing by bumrungrad international hospital or if i need anything at sukhumvit.
excellent location and confortable hotel”
getting food, and to get around bangkok was easy. the only challenge is the hotel is on the side of a small alley, junctioned from a main road (sukhumvit rd), taxidrivers have to skillfully get through the narrow road to the entrance of the hotel specially in the evening when the road starts to get crowded. that was me when arriving with many luggages. checking-out and leaving the hotel for departure, it was difficult to bring many luggages out to the roadside to get taxi. taxi has to come to the hotel entrance. i arranged reception hotel to call taxi to pickup at entrance with some extra charges. you can also do it yourself by going to the main road and catch a taxi to bring him to the hotel entrance and load your luggages. i checked out early 6am in the morning where the road was quite. it will be challenge if you are leaving with many luggages during crowded times, the taxis are just too difficult to squeze through the narrow road. having said that, one of my best stay.
Nice staff, interesting location, and so-so net”
This place is pretty good. My only complaint is the internet would be inconsistent but staff usually tried to fix it speedily. It is in an interesting location meaning it is the Middle Eastern part of town which could be could if you like the food. Overall, I would stay there again.
Excellent Hotel in a great location.”
have stayed at this hotel before on a number of occasions and it will certainly be my number one choice for future visits. excellent quality of accommodation for the price and difficult to fault the hotel at all. if being a little critical, the bathrooms are very small and compact and whoever installed the shower cubicle in my room needs to explain why they put the sliding door entrance by the side of the toilet with a matter of only inchs to get in. even more difficult to get out so best of luck if you get room 408.
best hotel in the area”
have stayed at this hotel now on 4 seperate occasions and would recommend this hotel to anyone. great location with nana plaza only across the road.rooms are larger and to a far higher equiped standard than in most other hotels in the area that are in this price bracket.rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. excellent hotel and value for money. would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.
Great location and clean rooms”
great location and access to halal food serving restaurants ... lots of travel agents near the hotel as well as alot of travel agents are found in the area.. the staff is very friendly and attend to the guests very promptly. the bathroom is a bit small but clean. basically very good for money..
it is a nice and comfortable 3-star hotel with all the usual amenities.. only the hotel does not have its own restaurant.. the staff is friendly and cooperative... hotel has wireless internet access to all rooms... rooms are nice and clean..
It is my second time stay in this hotel. It is good in value and looks spacious and bright. Near MRT across the King's road and the airport bus stand A11 is just a stone throw away. Shopping to Causeway by walk, tram or MRT is very convenient.
Hotel location was excellent as its in middle of the Arabian markets. Hotel facilities need to be improved
awesome and staff friendly ”
good this is third time i chose ground lucky to stay
Great hotel - really central - very clean”
very good staff - nice hotel in the middle of the town. very close to good bars and clubs. minibar is also good filled. prices are low.
Only good thing is the location..”
staff is not friendly, not accommodating any request. Had to wait for check-in since 1pm until 11pm at night due to their key machine was out of order... Next day they didn't even allow extra 3 hours for late checkout and charged half day rent extra... Never going back there again..
Did not get what I paid for ”
I paid and booked through Agoda... dor building no B (luxury) but they said that they don't know anything about luxury building. there was difference between building A and B... Building A was cheaper... don't know who to complain... didn't get any refund nor get the proper room
