Fantastic value, perfect location to travel Tokyo and amazing facilities”
Brilliant luxurious hotel with attentive helpful staff. Rooms very large but standard decor - amazing view of Tokyo skyline, wonderful service, perfect location (accessible to station) and architectural design of the building made it a memorable visit - fabulous hotel with regular courtesy bus to station or a five minute walk downhill. Added bonus of zen Japanese gardens and pool - very rare find in centre of Tokyo. The station also has amazing luxury department store and food hall.
Near the station with relaxing garden”
It’s a new renovated hotel just behind the original grand prince. Few hundred meters walk from the Shinagawa station. Got scheduled bus from the hotel to the station every 20 mins starting at 620am. Also direct airport bus from the hotel to Narita airport with the earliest schedule at 640am which is a plus.
I traveled with a friend and we both had a great stay. The room was well furnished, clean and well maintained and we were happy with the service and help from the Bell Counter team who were very helpful and obliging with our requests and questions. I appreciate the shuttle service which was a plus. Will stay here again when I’m in Tokyo.
Hotel 4 stars looks like 5 stars”
This hotel has huge and good lobby, a nice garden with some cherry blossom in end of march to early of April, spacious bed room and good view. The location is middle between 2 train stations, one is big : Shinagawa. Near by hotel , many restaurants and have some small shopping + Aqua world ( Similar to sea world). The Prince Takanawa is closer to train station than New Price Takanawa, but the building is older than New Price. Will come back to stay there again someday..
Great stay in Tokyo”
We always stay here in this hotel because good value for money, location is perfect for bonsai and suiseki events, rooms are very clean, and staff are all polite and helpful. overall great stay and will definitely stay again.
Quite good hotel ”
Stayed for 3 nights for business Pros : very upscale lobby, restaurants are nice but expensive, rooms are quite big n comfortable, 7-11 located within hotel Cons: a bit of an uphill walk from the station. No nice bars in the hotel as compared to the Prince Hotel.
This place is fantastic for all types of families. We stayed in Superior Room and it has a sofa too. Crib was available too for my 9-month old baby. The receptionists are very accommodating. The hotel place is very convenient to Shinagawa station. There is a 7eleven at Basement 1. We went during winter so it was very convenient that we don't have to go out any more of the hotel just to buy something from the convenience store.
Very nice clean rooms. A little disappointed to find room has no ac because room is a bit stuffy this stay. Fortunately it was fall, so we just open the window and problem solved. 7-11 in the basement is a plus. Bus to narita stop infront of the hotel also a plus because we have many lugages. About 10 minute pleasant walk to shinagawa station. We have stayed here many many times and will definitely come back
Checking in and out was extremely smooth and efficient. Staff of this hotel is just amazing, helpful and polite. Room is very clean and huge. Bed and pillows were super comfy. Lovely stroll at the Japanese Tea Garden. Airport Limo Bus stops right at this hotel which makes it so convenient especially with so many luggage bags. A short 10 min walk to eateries and train station. Overall, really enjoyed my stay in Japan.
Prettiest so far”
Very grand hotel, lightings and all makes it classy. Room are spacious for triple travellers. Good place
Everything was perfect”
It was the best hotel which I used before. thanks a lot !!
Great service, lovely room”
Great option for last couple days on trip. Chose to stay in Shinagawa for access to Narita Express. Staff supplied cute slippers for our kids. Excellent ramen street located next to station.
Good value for the excellent location”
It’s a very decent location but room is cheaply done and not comfortable. It’s a curse of poor Japanese hospitality management. You feel like staying in the dormitory. Other than that, the service is decent.
Elegant, grand hotel ”
Large spacious lobby area, nice large comfortable room in a quiet area away from the bustle around the station. Large counter in the room for working with your computer along with a settee for comfortable sitting. Up the street from Shinagawa station, about a 10-minute walk. There is a 7-Eleven in the building – hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. They have a shuttle which takes you down to the Shinagawa train station. It goes 8:15 a.m. thru 9:15 p.m., running every 20-minutes. I took the 10:15 one and it was maxed out with the pull-down extra seats in the aisle all occupied.
Good value for money ”
This was our first trip to Japan. Shinagawa was a perfect location - a main train stop on the Yamanote line and with all JR services and train to Narita direct. A short 5 min walk from hotel to the station - or complimentary shuttle bus also provided. 30square metre room was good size - average quality of furnishings - free room upgrade appreciated. Only downside was they wanted to charge hourly rate for late checkout - which we’ve not encountered before - and therefore declined; either offer it or don’t.
Excellent value in Tokyo”
While 99% of hotels in Tokyo is extreamly low, this hotel offers s solid value. Room is on bigger side and service is next to none. It’s overall value is very high. I highly recommending this establishment.
Good location, late check out need to pay surcharge”
The location is pretty good, 5min walk from Shinagawa station, but it's uphill, maybe hard if you carry a lot of luggages or heavy luggages. Late check out need to pay a surcharge (1800 yen per hour for us). Room is quite comfortable. Air conditioner in room is fixed at 24 degrees Celsius. Heater at lobby is a bit too warm.
Quiet, very pleasant room in middle of Tokyo”
This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in Tokyo. The location is ideal, near Shinagawa Train station with access to Narita Express, Keikyu line to Haneda, Shinkansen, etc. etc. Lots of nice restaurants in vicinity and in the hotel itself, direct beau service from airport entrance to airports. Rooms were quiet, clean, and very comfortable. I'll be back, for sure.
One of the Best hotel in Shinagawa”
This is my second trip in Japan. Shinagawa is a location for business travellers. Grand prince hotel new takanawa is better than shinagawa Prince hotel in terms of room comfort. They have big rooms and big lobby which you can receive visitors but in terms of location Shinagawa prince is better since it is across the Shinagawa train station.
It is sad that the swimmingpool is not included in the price (which is the same with most Japanese hotels). There are two pools: enterance fee is 7USD, renting a sunbed however is another USD30. There is a gym in the hotel next door but you have to pay as well. The restaurants are expensive but there are cheaper ones in the area. It is not far from the metro and there is a shuttle bus going there anyway. The Garden is great.
