good spot next to railway station”
We passed just one night in Hue, so Green hotel was great option - walk in few minutes to railway station. Well equipped huge room, nice staff, in hot weather the pool was refreshing! Good breakfast (wide range of warm meals, egg counter, not so many possibilities for european breakfast), but we vere dissapointed by the coctails by pool.
Very spacious and well equipped room”
Can thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is used extensively by tour companies but they mostly stay one night. The rest if the time it is a charming place to be based in.
Hotel close to station ”
We had a large room for one night which was on the corner of the hotel. everything was made of bamboo! The bedhead, side tables, chairs, lampstand, lampshade, mirror surround etc etc. At one end of town close to station and easy to get a cab to the other end for more night life.
Business-like hotel close to the citadel”
We got a good bargain and ended up with a suite and two balconies for $20. The hotel is very large and not typical backpacker-style. Room was very nice and well-furnished. Food at the hotel was horrible, though.
A cavernous hotel with a thing about green”
It seem like a half kilometer walk from reception to our spacious room on the 3rd floor. The room was large and clean and looked out over a quiet canal in back. Home for large groups of tours from Asia and Europe, the enormity of the place allowed you to avoid most people. The breakfast was especially special particularly to the fan of traditional Hue dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful despite being hassled by the crowds.
Everything about this hotel is just great”
I would certainly come here again! Near the train station and also not too far from the imperial city. Staff were very friendly, has great facilities in the hotel. Really wished I could stay longer here
The Green Hotel Hue Just amazing. .the minute I arrived at reception. ...friendly. .knowledgeable. .staff greeted me..their English...fantastic. .compared to my Vietnamese. .the upgraded me to a super super room..the restaurant wow..I could order what I like.. the Assistant Manager came and had a chat with me...to make sure ..everything was ok... Absolutely fantastic. . And ...value for money...amazing.. Location. ..awesome. . Thank you. .to all the staff..for making my stay in Hue memorable. .
Perfect, especially for train travellers.”
Stayed at the Green Hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed it immensely. It was the best place we stayed in our whole trip. Location is perfect if you arrive by train...and you SHOULD! The overnight sleeper train from Hanoi was excellent, comfortable and fascinating. When you arrive at the station you can’t miss seeing the hotel just across the road and a small bridge. It’s huge and green! No taxi hassles, just walk in. The foyer and staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had a huge suite with massive lounge area, bedroom, huge bathroom and separate powder room. It was delightful and ridiculously cheap...amazing value for money. The decor is bamboo oriented and tropical, very Vietnamese and very Hue. The pool was good, restaurants huge and plentiful, and breakfast most impressive. The busy local market is just a few minutes’ walk away alongside the canal and it’s only a short walk in the other direction to the riverside and bridges. All up it was extremely comfortable, clean, great facilities, convenient location, excellent value for money and friendly, helpful staff. I would highly recommend the Green Hotel for an enjoyable, relaxing stay in Hue.
Hue Green hotel”
I ordered very comfortable room at this hotel with the price about $50. I like the special design of this hotel. Food for breakfast is ok but need to train the staff more about the way of services. This Hotel is very close to train station and can walk to the pagodas in this area. There are many local, small restaurants around this hotel. I will stay again.
The last two meals at the hotel got me sick...”
Overall, we liked our stay (except the sickness part). The hotel is located within walking distance from the train station. We walked our luggage from train station to the hotel (you can't miss it as it is GREEN color). I would say that don't book any tour through the staff as I found that they are expensive and too pushy. Also, the Imperial meal (dined like King and Queen meal) was SOOOoooo overrated. We were literally shuttled into a decorated room, dressed like royal family for pictures and we took off right after pictures taken as it is too hot, and ate an ok meal, There are 7 course meal; but, only the first three dishes were good. The rest of the menu is regular street food (fried rice and noodle dishes). Dessert was a plate of fruit (watermelon, pineapple, and papaya). The meal costs $42 USD (3 of us) and didn't include drink. The Huda beer costs 36,000 VND each (outside costs 15,000 VND). My lemonade costs 36,000 VND (I usually paid 15,000 VND for this drink). This price is w/o music. It will cost more with music (of course). Staff told us where to eat good and authentic Hue food -- go to Ba Do. The wait staff at this location was patiently showed us how to eat their food the right way (which food to dip with which sauce -- very important). We had a great time and it was fantastic. I showed my appreciation by giving the wait staff some $$ (always appreciated). Have fun travel.
Value for money!”
Me and my families spent 2 days at Green Hotel, the stays were pleasant. The hotel staffs offered their great services to us, recommended great local good and help arranged tour to DMZ and transportation to Danang! Value for money :)
Comfortable stay near the railway station”
It was good. Smooth check-in, friendly and helpful staff. So close to the railway station that we can walk there. At its back door there were many eating places, too bad we just found it out when we were leaving. Will recommend this hotel to others. Great value for money.
Good value for money, clean and comfortable”
We stayed here for one night only but found the staff helpful and friendly. They provided transport to airport at a very reasonable price of $22. It was conveniently located for a trip to the citadel and market and boat trips along the river.
Value for money and a good 4 star hotel ”
Receptionists speak good English and good massage and lovely food serve beside the river .breakfast serve delicious VN local variety of dishes. Very spaces for children to play and a good swimming pool for relaxation .
A touch of luxury at a very affordable price”
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It felt like 5 star but the Agoda price was very reasonable. Breakfast was included and we could eat as much as we liked and there was great variety. We swam in the evening in the beautiful pool. We were able to walk from the hotel to the Imperial Palace alongside and over the Perfume River but there were plenty of taxis, rickshaws available. The staff were very attentive, carried our bags, nothing seemed too much effort. Would recommend a stay at this hote and would happily go back there. We walked from the satation and it was , as the advert said, only 248m!
Very pleasant stay”
Rooms were very pleasant and the location was quiet but easy to get around Hue - near the riverfront. Hotel has pool but it wasn't heated and weather still a bit cool so I only dipped my feet in. Nice bennie was the bank of computers for guests - I don't travel with my laptop and so many places only offer wi-fi now.
Nice hotel, conveniently placed, good service”
hotel was conveniently placed close to the train station and the imperial city but was quiet and pleasant. rooms were well-appointed and equiped. very nice restaurant with excellent choice of food. were well impressed with the staff who provided us with cash (against credit card) when atm across the road was not operating. all in all can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! very good value for money!
Pleasant hotel with excellent staff”
We were very pleased with the Green hotel. It is conveniently located and quiet. The rooms are adequately sized, clean and wel-maintained. The staff were helpful beyond the call of duty. They arranged for us to be met at the airport, and a car, driver and guide for our visit to the sights around Hue. More particularly, they very efficiently arranged for valuables my sister had inadvertently left behind in the safe in her room to be sent to her in Ha Noi, our next stop.
Nice hotel, comfy, good location for train station”
Nice hotel, we enjoyed walking to the other side of the main road ( 15mins walk) to get to the restaurants. Others might prefer to be closer. Staff were really nice, breakfast was good with lots and lots of choice!
The hotel was a great choice for a quick visit as it offered everything. It has a supermarket, numberous restaurants, large pool, hairdresser and massage and beauty services. They offer organised tours but I wouldnt recommend them. They are quite expensive, dont include lunch or entry fees and the tour guide we had was hopeless.
