an excellent hotel in a perfect place staff are some of the best we met pool area large and also rooms excellent just try and stay away on weekends if locals stay in hotel very noisy and busy 10 out of 10
Great find , value for money and beautiful surroundings”
We stayed here as a family of four for 10 nights we absolutely enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to people looking for somewhere to stay in Hoi An. The rooms were spacious and were cleaned everyday , staff were very friendly and helpful , breakfast was delicious and we also had a few pizza and cocktails at the pool bar which were great. I loved the surroundings everywhere was green and leafy which is what o was looking for rather than a high rise hotel. My only negative is that the pool was dirty , I didn’t see anyone test it clean it once , there is algae on the tiles in the pool and you can see a film on the top. During our stay one of the gusts had an ear Infection which is likely to be a result of the pool water. If the hotel read this please review your cleaning of the pool. I would love to stay again when I return next year but I’m afraid the cleanliness of the pool may persuade me not too. In addition there is a bus service to town and the beach which is great , if you miss the bus don’t worry and taxis are cheap and plentiful.
Fantastic stay in Hoi An”
I got this hotel recommended by a friend and it definately met my expectations. Rooms were big and clean. Hotel offered a shuttle service for free to the old quarter and beach which was very convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here again
Nice and quiet location between town and beach”
Long checkin as the booking pages were clearly including breakfast but not the voucher sent after booking. The complimentary upgrade was also "forgotten" at first. Apart from that, rooms are clean and spacious, and the resort is in a good location, between the old town and the beach, with a free shuttle every few hours.
The room was fantastic with views to the swimming pool. The food was also excellent and the relation with the personal was outstanding. The room was spacious and the design and confort was really good for the money. Great place to stay. If I ever go back to Hoi An, I will definitely try to get a room there.
We stayed at the resort for four nights and it was absolutely amazing! The service we received was great and the resort was immaculate. Food and drinks were great and reasonably priced for a resort. The room was fantastic and I can not fault this resort in any way. When we return to Hoi An will be rebooking this resort.
Relaxing by pool and beach”
Enjoyable and relaxing spot to unwind. Pool was amazing and the swim up bar was open most of the day. Shuttle bus to the city and besch is excellent. Need more sun loungers and need to provide a buzzer on the swim up bar. Very enjoyable none the less.
Nice ressort type hotel in quiet area.”
Great place to relax in a ressort type hotel with nice gardens and pool, but still located within the city. The breakfast buffet is first class and the rooms extremly large and luxury. Highly recommended.
Very nice stay”
Enjoyed staying at Hoi An Trail Resort. Breakfast is a little light. The hotel has a shuttle to Hoi An and the beach, but we chose to walk to Hoi An, about 3 Km away. The room was spacious. The best we had in a while.
Great hotel with a nice tropical palm garden”
Very nice hotel for relaxing in a tropical palm garden. The room are very big with a huge bathroom with both bathtube and shower. The breakfast has a quite good choice of vietnamese and western food. Staff speaks good english and are very friendly. The location is between the old town Hoi An and the Cua Dai beach.
Wonderful after we refused the first two rooms”
The first two rooms we were shown were really poor for the price but after we refused them we got a fantastic upgrade to a deluxe room which was absolutely wonderful. This is a lovely hotel and the free bikes for guest use made our time in Hoi An even better.
Lovely hotel and service but far from city center”
Hotel located im the middle of the beach and the city center so it is great for those people that wanna take advantage of both. The hotel provides free shuttle bus to the city center and also free bicycle rent to ride to the beach. If you missed out on the shuttle bus, it will costs roughly USD$2-3 to reach town center by taxi. One thing I didnt like about the hotel is that there is no lift to your room. It is fine normally but when you have to drag your luggage up the stairs. Its a bit annoying. Of course, you can always the concierge to deliver it for you with extra tip.
Beautiful charming Hotel!”
We were presently surprised when we stayed here! We were in a Delux Room, and so glade we paid the extra $4.00 extra for this. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the Hotels relaxing Pool! Brekky was sufficient and the Hotel provided complimentary push bikes so getting in to the city centre was simple as! Highly Recommended!
Beyond my expectation”
The resort is nice, quiet and well maintained. It exceeded my expectation indeed with its surroundings. Staff attitude is good which is rare in Vietnam as I am the expats working here and been to HoiAn couple of times. Swimming pool is fantastic and nearby paddyfield. When its shuttle service to town failed to turn up for usual pick-up, we called and was asked to take a cab back which the hotel reimbursed back the taxi fare. Indeed a service beyond expectation!
Excellent resort and facilities”
We stayed for 3 weeks in 719 premium deluxe room which is on the top floor to the left of the resort ( when facing the resort)which was nice and quiet. To the right side next to the resort is a tattoo place that played music in the evening some days of the week. There are stairs and no lifts. The buffet breakfasts are amazing with a lot of variety to choose from. The gardens around the buildings are very tropical and beautifully looked after. The swimming pool is clean medium size with a shallow area for kids. It gets a bit too warm by the afternoon in the hot weather. But it has a lovely ambience and a nice bar that has happy hour from 2pm to 5pm with 2 for 1 cocktails. Staff are very friendly and helpful.and the reception staff speak English. Room is very comfortable with modern bath, separate shower, large balcony, small living area, aircon and fan. Shuttle service is great. Many nice restaurants nearby. Found Red dragon and 328 very good. Will return. Loved it.
Lovely pool, great location, chilled out.”
Just enough away from the hustle of Hoi An old town, plenty of options to eat outside the hotel. 5 mins one way to beach, 10 to the old town. Cheap taxis approx £1:20 to get to town or hotel free shuttle.
Perfect breakfast and garden view”
The hearty breakfast makes me impressive, we expect it every morning. But the noise from the air-conditioner of room 601 is loudly, we can't get a comfortable sleep. We response the problem to the front desk, but they can't fix the problem. Besides, the water pressure is too low to have a hot bathtub. I feel very pity. Overall, it's a beautiful resort.
Good basic hotel”
This hotel was okay. Nothing too good, but nothing bad either. We took a larger room, but the interior was very dull. It was still ok. They had somekind of renovation going on at the hotel, so check this before you go, if you plan to stay at the pool at a lot. The hotel was located quite far from the old town, but the hotel has a shuttle service. The beach is far, but to be honest, the beach in Vietnam is so dirty, and the water is so dirty, it would be impossible to swim there.
We loved Hoi An Trails. Beautiful grounds, buildings, pool and lovely decor. We had 2 interconnecting room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Big balcony and plenty of room. I have read previous comments about the shower and they do send water everywhere which you need to be super careful when getting out. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. I spoke with a staff member who said they were working on improving the breakfast and that they had recently added new choices. Pool was great and they also had a pool table which my son loved. They had bikes we used to cycle to beach (not good quality) and around the back streets. Shuttle bus ran to town and back. We usually got a taxi in and managed to get the shuttle back. We used the sauna, steam room and had massage and nails done at their on site spa. All very nice and reasonable price. Over the road is nice restaurant were we ate at several times when not wanting to travel far. I would stay here again.
The staff absolutely make this resort! The facilities are great as well. ”
The staff were friendly helpful and were able to advise us on many different aspects of our trip and stay. The resort is also great value for money and the location is great between the beach and the old town.
