“A splash of fun!”
First off, let me just say, my toddler absolutely loved the aqua room! There were so many fish, and the aquarium itself was super clean with really good lighting. Seeing my kid happy definitely made a big difference. The breakfast buffet was also a big plus. There was a good variety, and honestly, I felt like we got what we paid for. A solid start to the day! Our room was nice and spacious enough for us – my husband, our 2-year-old, and me. It felt comfortable a family of three. Now, there were a few things that could definitely be better. The concierge situation was a bit frustrating. If it's not working, there should really be a sign telling guests exactly where to go right away. Having to call in takes up time, and honestly, it's a bit unhygienic to use a public phone, especially these days. Also, it was a bit odd that our comfort room only had one door. And unfortunately, one of the showerheads wasn't working properly. We just didn't have the time to report it and ended up just using the other one. On top of that, the Wi-Fi was pretty bad, and we barely had any phone signal, which was a hassle. A Big Concern: The Waterpark This is probably the biggest thing for me: the waterpark really needs a lot of improvement, especially for safety. The announcement that "beyond the yellow line is 3 meters" just isn't enough, and frankly, it felt unsafe. The wall separating the pool and the river also felt unsafe; it really should be built higher. And watch out for the pool flooring – it was really slippery. Honestly, the entire waterpark needs a redesign to be truly kid-friendly and safe. As much as we enjoyed other parts of the hotel, I'm genuinely scared for my kid's safety there. So, would we stay at the hotel again? Probably. But will we visit the waterpark? Absolutely not, not until those major safety issues are addressed.
