Good place reasonable price”
I had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Wing International in Ikebukuro. The staff were friendly and always willing to help the best that they can. You are rewarded for being eco friendly. The lobby has lots of samples of toiletries if you forget.
Great staff but EXTREMELY small room”
Extremely small and cramped. The bed is also as hard as a rock. We laid 4 extra thick blankets to lay on top of and it barely made a dent. The location is pretty good and the staff were amazing and extremely hospitable but the size is just crazy small. Pretty sure our closet is bigger than this room lol
The room was so tiny”
Everything are satisfactory including services, location and tidiness except the size of the room. There was only a narrow aisle for storing your luggage (width about 70cm). It was impossible to fully open a 29 inch luggage so I took so long to tidy up my stuff the night before I checked out.
The hotel staffs are very attentive and prompt. The small variety of gifts at lobby are fun. ”
Very good experience overall. The hotel staffs are very helpful and nice. The gifts at the lobby - mostly beauty and skincare and foods- come in small Sache and you can choose from a wide variety of products.
Worth every penny”
Despite the location is a bit far from the train station, but it's just 10 mins walk and you will passby a very happening street at Ikebukuro with plenty of nice foods and shopping. Hotel room is small but that's expected, clean and facilities is 100 marks.
reasonable price. good wifi”
everything are nice to me except the location is a bit far from ikebukuro station then expected. around 15 mins walk but compared to the price nearby. this is a really good place to stay and the hotel is definitely clean and everything kept in a very good way.
Very satisfied with everything! Clean and cozy room, friendly staff, and unlimited facial masks, foot scrubs, etc.!
Staff were very friendly and the number of gifts available at the lobby were abundant. The location wasn't that bad, near to Sunshine City but the walk to the Ikebukuro station would take about 15mins. If you have luggages and small children, it may be quite tedious. Room was very small so not really very suitable for families with young kids. Would stay as a solo or business traveler but otherwise, with a family of young children, probably will need to look for somewhere else with a bigger room.
Excellent service and most pleasant stay in Tokyo”
This is by far my most pleasant stay i had in Tokyo, all the receptionists are very warm welcoming and friendly, the room we had also excellent, cleanliness was really good, sound proof was great and they even provide us with good quality toiletries, but make sure you get it from the receptionist floor,it's free for us to get from there, along with other free beverages and soup they have there. Location wise, it's near to many happening places from shopping to food or anything. And it's very near to the limousine bus station where we took our bus from Narita airport and return at the same spot. We got our one hour early complimentary check in with their free to join membership provided, and even giving us a free gift of warm pack when we were checking out on ourgent last day staying. It's definitely a worth staying hotel and I highly recommend about it too.
Really clean, nice and helpful staff! ”
My boyfriend broke his phone and we needed a letter from the hotel to claim for insurance, and the staff were really willing and helpful to help us write a letter! The hotel room was clean and really good value for money! I would definitely stay here again if I visit Tokyo in the future.
Kinda old but it's okay”
5-minute walk to Sunshine city! Older hotel and bathroom is too small and old. Nice bedroom but bed takes up most of the space and it's a bit too hard. Nowhere to put luggage. Really friendly staff. I wish the lobby was on the ground floor and not downstairs it was a pain carrying my suitcase. Vending machines and other stuff on in 2 floors so you don't have to leave the hotel.
The hotel is easily accessible from the airport if you're taking the limousine bus - just drop at Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro, and it's a short 5 minute walk to Hotel Wing. You can also book bus tickets back to the airport from the reception at Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro. Once you get used to the neighbourhood, the walk from Ikebukuro Station to the hotel is also short and breezy. The staff spoke good English, and were very friendly and accomodating. There are lots of food options nearby too, since it's so close to Sunshine City, and there's a 7-11 just behind the hotel. The room was nothing special, but it was clean and the bed was comfy - the perfect place to return to after a tiring day around Tokyo. PS. If you're an avid fan of anime/manga/games aimed at girls, the famous "Otome Street" is literally just round the corner from the hotel!
Friendly staff, good price for a week in Tokyo”
We stayed at Hotel Wing Ikebukuro after looking for somewhere close enough to the Yamonote Line and reasonably priced. We got a last minute deal here that fit the bill. The staff are super friendly and spoke enough English for us to not use our phrase book. The location suited us for the Yamonote line, but we decided to stay in Shinjuku for our other few days in Tokyo. Each had their benefit. The room was cleanly, but despite being a non-smoking room smelled smokey when we got there. This dissipated over a day or so, but is the reason for the one star off. They offer free things like coffee, soups, facemasks etc in the lobby, there are vending machines and microwaves. There is not anywhere in the room to put your clothes like a wardrobe or drawers westeners might expect, and not room to keep baggage. out of the way. This was the stars off for Facilities. There is an in house restaurant but we did not pay the extra to eat there so can't comment. Recommend for mid-to-budget travel.
Great location, lovely service, plenty of bench space on the room”
We were here for 5 nights whole exploring Tokyo, and chose this hotel for the walkable distance to Ikebukuro Station. It is also very close to Sunshine Street, Sunshine Alta (Pokemon Centre), and plenty of restaurants and shops within a 1km radius. The lobby is at basement level, and staff will assist with access to the lifts from level 1 after you check in. Amenities are generous, and the room was lovely. Bench space around one and a bit sides of the room, and enough space to store three large suitcases. Would definitely recommend if you want to be close to many things but located on a quiet street!
I think if a room for two, the price is fine, but as i were with other 3 family members and there was no one room available for four people when i booked, so the total cost is not very attractive. The hotel is around 10-15mins far away from JR east station. The room is clean and the staffs were polite.
old facilities and far away from transportation. stained bathtub and toilet.
Hotel provide an umbrella @reception. It good for us because we don't have to buy just return when you finish.
Perfect location in Ikebukuro City, walk around with in the distance. The Hotel Provide everything you need. I take soup in sachet everyday. Awesome
With the amount charged per night, I would expect newer and more modern room but it’s not. Quite old but cleanliness is ok.
