Hotel Matina is located on the island of Santorini, 3 blocks from the ‘black’ Kalmari beach, 15 minutes by public bus from the capital city Fira (Thira) and within easy reach of 50 or so cafes and restaurants. I believe the hotel and area is very busy during June-August but it was delightfully quiet during our May stay. Matina and her husband run a tight ship. The whol...

Where to start, arrived to a room that wasn't clean. Bed had been made and towels laid out but it was obvious that the linen had not been changed, previous people's hair still on pillows. Aircon didn't work and just blew hot air, fridge was frozen over and couldn't close. Staff let us change rooms fortunately as we would not have been able to spend the night. Overa...

Recently stayed at the Kings Suites, while the overall photos are accurate, they are shot to make the property appear much larger than it is. The location is wonderful, with Kamari Beach just a few steps across the street, but require transportation to visit other locale such are Fira or Oia. The rooms were very clean, and the staff at the restaurant were wonderful. U...

We were two friends travelling through Italy with a much anticipated week in Greece. Kamari beach is refreshingly quaint, friendly and has a great beach vibe. The hotel is perfectly located for easy walking to shopping, beach, and more good choices then you can possible explore. The staff was great. The bartender Marios, could mix up just about anything your heart desi...

I arrived Santorini by a late flight so I picked this hotel as it’s near the airport (5 mins drive). I told the hotel my arrival time so when we arrived the staff was at reception and welcomed us. The staff was nice which helped us to carry part of our baggages to room (located on the second floor). The room was not big but it’s enough and you got all you need. The bal...

good location. few mins to bus stop, few mins to beach, few mins to the restaurants at Kamari Beach.. Maria is very kind and friendly! The staff are prompt to make up the room and change fresh towel for you everyday. don't worry even if you have a room tat face the street, it's not noisy at all! love this place.. I would love to stay here again if I visit Santorini nex...

It is necessary to wear water shoes because the rocks are hit and uncomfortable, the front row sun beds are at an additional cost, but other than that it was beautiful! Although the people roaming around asking if you want a massage all day are a bit much the massage I received was wonderful. Certainly bargain with them😎. You must travel over the cliff to the other si...

Epavlis Hotel is very nice, clean and modern. It is close walking distance to the beach and boardwalk where you can find many shops and restaurants. The pool is very nice and the pool bar staff is great! Wish I could say the same about the front desk. We loved Kamari and Epavlis looked like one of the nicest hotels in the area.

Quiet place with nice views over the sea, good communication and restaurants nearby. The hotel is however overpriced, considering the facilities and standards. The breakfast was poor. The staff was not that professional. In addition, the hotel used a wrong/fake address. It is not located in Fira, but Makari.

it is very easy to find the hotel, the hotel is situated in a good location of kamari, only 10 mins walk to the beach, near the wine museum and airport. also, there are plenty of resturants near the kamari beach. hotel staff provided us helpful information regarding the resturants and the signseeing.

There’s not much to say the property is beautiful. There’s a back entrance from the pool (one of three pools) that leads to a three minute walk from the beach. The staff was great, the facilities were great, it was quite. If your staying more than two or more nights in Kamari, I would recommend here. If your doing less, stay in the hustle and bustle of the beach road. ...

The room we booked was small, the bathroom was small, the TV was also small and had basic local channel (most channels were in Greek)but our balcony was facing the ocean - which was really cool. The hotel was very close to the airport - it gets noisy when a plane lands. BUT there were plenty of things to do around Kamari. The hotel was close to the Kamari town with ...

There was some confusion with my booking in regards to the location. However, Marios was so incredibly helpful and accommodating that I decided to stay anyway and am so glad that I did. Accoms are all one needs when travelling solo - clean rooms and bathroom, crisp white bed-linen, simple amenities (but with essential air conditioning & even a mini fridge & TV) and ...

Stayed at Makarios for 5 nights, best way to enjoy island life. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable and pool was divine! Only negatives are: 1) there is no elevator, so had to lug suitcases up stairs; 2) the showers are seriously tiny, and kept knocking my elbows on the doors. Other than that this hotel is a gem, definitely family friendly and ...

This is a very nice, small hotel within walking distance to some very nice restaurants, and close to where to get the bus to other parts of the island. I thought it was a bit expensive for what we got, but not outrageous. The staff were fantastic and I really felt they took pride in doing whatever they could to make our stay as nice as possible.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Elixir and would love to return. I had superior room #1 and it was a delight to stay in. It's like a small apartment, separate eat in kitchen, 1 bedroom over looking ocean, 2 balconies front and back. The bed was heaven and the whole place was clean and well kept. It's located in the heart of the little town, easy to walk to everything. M...

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel located in Kamari, not far from Kamari beach. Family-owned business who made our stay very comfortable. Clean rooms and nice pool. Very helpful with bus schedules and things to do. Organized airport transfers for us (€15 for 2 people). Value for money. Great wifi. Loved our time in Santorini. Thanks!! Highly recommended.

Is a new hotel and basically i took us 1/2 hours to find the hotel. We try to ask around and most people there either don't know or give us the wrong directions. However, we totally satisfied with the hotel, the facilities provided like swimming pool and good breafast. The hotel is very near to kamari beach and is just 5 min walking. In front the beach, plently of res...

Lovely stay at Azalea apartments. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the wifi and air con are both free and fantastic! The apartments are only a 10 minute walk from the main strip of restaurants on Kamari Beach and are a fraction of the cost! Perfect accommodation if you are on a budget, excellent value for money. Will certainly be returning.

we booked a superior room, but when we checked in the desk person assigned us to a standard double room. after diasgreeing with the accomodation we we given a studio which was more of a superior type accomodation. it was also difficult to get hot water at night because they kept forgeting to turn on the electric power to the heater when the sun went down and solar wa...

The rooms were big but worn down (cracks in walls, no water in bathroom tap etc) not that cleaned and only one big light in the center of the room. The staff didnt really clean and change sheets, only bedded and swiped the dirt from the center of the floors. The worst part was the bed, ive slept in hundreds of hotels worl wide but this bed took the price. Rock hard ply...

I would love to go back to this hotel. It is located at Kamari beach, and they also have restaurant at the ground floor. I was worried the price is much cheaper than other hotels. However, I dare to say there is no other hotel with this price. Of course, the breakfast are much much simpler than other hotels, however, it is so silent when I was there and I had lovely ti...

This hotel is excellently located for exploring Kamari and getting to the beach. The beach is so close you can walk it in less then 1 min. The room was well sized, clean and had a private balcony. My only negative comment is the internet that is stated on their listing is not included. The fees for internet access are very expensive (5 Euros for 90 min) This was inc...

I stayed just under a week here at Kamari Blue. The hotel is ideally located on Kamari Beach, short walk to all the restaurants, shops and bus stop. The room was perfect, spacious, clean and with a balcony. I was lucky enough to meet the Hotel Manager Sam who was so welcoming, he made me feel like part of the family, we chatted many times over coffee and even some fres...

There are some reviews for this hotel which are a little mis-leading. We have just spent four nights at this hotel and let me tell you that our room on the ground floor was beautiful and totally spotless. There have been mentions of flooding and odour in the bathrooms. Our bathroom was simply stunning! The flooding problems (wet bathroom floor) which some people have c...
