This business and tourist hotel just north of Issan provides comfortable rooms with balconies overlooking the beautiful mountains. The countryside makes a delightful hiking destination filled with scenic vistas. Kosit Hill Hotel has conference facilities with modern audio and visual equipment. Children can use the playground, there is an outdoor pool and golfers can practice their swing on the driving range. Thai, Chinese, and Western food is available, and the hotel is near the town where good shopping, night markets, and restaurants are plentiful. This is also the region where the tamarind fruit is grown. It is suggested you try a bowl of tamarind soup which is spicy and tasty.
"Considering the price this is a very good choice."

Good value hotel.Perfect for stopovers close to main road.
Another pleasent Stay”
Great stay yet again. Had family visit to use the pool this time which was very enjoyable. The food was as good as always and glad to see the drink prices have been sorted as last time they were serving small bottles at large bottle prices. Enrertainment in Kosit Cafe a little dated. We are still fascinated by the collectables and trinkets dotted around.
One night at the Kosit Hill”
I only stayed one night here but would stay here again. Really no complaints about this hotel. Has a really nice breakfast buffet, staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. And the hotel is full of historical knick-knacks. One could spend a whole day just touring the various displays in the hotel.
Very quite hotel, good breakfast and clean rooms”
This was a simple nice, clean and quite hotel. Stuff was very helpful. Breakfast was very nice, they made fresh chicken soup for me because they only had pork soup on buffet. Very quite Hotel, I really liked it, simple Hotel. I will be back again
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
We had a wonderful relaxing time at this hotel, rooms were a bit old fashioned but had everything we needed, the hotel is an old style thai wood decor and has a lot of olde worlde furnishings, which i think adds to the ambience,we would definetely stay there again.good location for nightlife shopping and resteraunts.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile"”
first time in petchaboon. found hotel to be big like a resort.it was near the bus station and a 7-eleven. i was very happy to use the swimming pool and dinning room, etc. the staff were very friendly and my stay was pleasent.
Good location, clean, and unusual”
Everything about this hotel is OK, except there a few things missing in the rooms, e.g., hair dryers. There is a big swimming pool, a snooker hall, karaoke, and the entire location is a museum of 20th-century technology. There are toy, VCR, dial phone, fax machine, old dentist chair etc, etc, exhibits everywhere on the sprawling property. A unique experience.
Rock hard mattress. Sheets and duvet the same thickness as tissue paper. Tired room with old furniture Mosquitos and moths in the room. Staff friendly. But hotel needs updating badly.
Aged beauty ”
An older hotel with great location for Phetchabun. The staff was extremely conscientious and helpful. Overall great experience
Nice place, very near the town center. Great food. Recommended for an overnight stay before going to Phutaberk..... wake early morning to start your trip to the sea of clouds. Staff were friendly.
Frequent guest here.....excellent stopover hotel.”
Good value hotel....just LOVE the violinist in the main restaurant..Thank you and see you next time!!
Great hotel in a beautiful region”
Absolutely value for money. Wonderful staff. Good breakfast.
Very reasonable and convenient hotel”
Rooms good size, good location near town, very friendly and helpful staff.
we check-in very late on 23 Dec but rooms are pretty nice for us”
It would be great if they could provide a variety of TV selection
older hotel, but the only one in the area”
This old hotel has some charm with amazing showcase collections all over it. But its age is showing. I asked to change rooms the first day since the toilet didn't flush. The staff just shrugged his shoulders and didn't seem to care, but I insisted on a new room. My next room, the tub didn't drain properly - like, an hour to drain the shower, so there are definitely plumbing issues. The pool is small and the breakfast is just ok. Besides, the museum-like charm, the location is about the only thing going for it.
Very nice but aging. ”
Considering the price this is a very good choice. Not everything to American standards but really very comfortable. Odd collections around to browse through. Restaurant is good but communication is limited.
Magnificent older hotel”
I was here for a friend's wedding, but I was surprised at the grandeur of this older hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hotel staff was eager to please the entire way. Most spoke very little English, and while I certainly can't expect foreign countries to supply English-speaking staff for my convenience, I did have some communication problems as a result. They are on the main highway an easy 5-minute drive from Phetchabun city center. Because the location is set back quite a ways from the road, there are no concerns about traffic noise. Overall a pleasant experience and one I can recommend to others.
Pleasant stay. Will stay again. Some improvements needed.”
For the price, a choice of at least one English language TV channel could be expected. Cold fried eggs, cold ham and cold sausages do not a Western breakfast make. A late offer of a fresh omelette was made, unfortuately had already eaten cold fried eggs. This is not just a problem here but endemic throughout Thailand. Being a solo traveller a big bottlel of beer is usually too much - small bottles or cans, other than Lao beer should be on offer in restaurant. Appreciated the availabilty of the Bangkok Post newspaper.
ok hotel for a few nights”
The hotel is a bit far away from senic sights, so it is best if you have a car. other than that the hotel is ok, the rooms are old style and no luxury at all, but clean. There is a good restaurant at the hotel with a very large menu to choose from. it is also here the breakfast is served (included in our 35 USD) per night rate which I find is a great deal. The breakfast had both Asia and Europe style food.
8th year running!”
We always visit family in Phetchabun , have done every year since our marriage 8 years ago. Great value hotel, town, markets and local amenities all within 10 minutes walk. Staff very attentive and friendly. Restaurant food excellent value and quality. Probably not the best holiday destination, but plenty of local landmarks can be got to by bus or arranged tour, like Khao Kho mountains or Tad Mok waterfall. All round great value.
