It's okay. During Canton Fair. ”

It's an okay hotel, specially if you need a lower price range to meet your budget. It's a Chinese Hotel. Breakfast costs around RMB 98,00 if not included on your booking and it's not worthy. Western dishes would be two or three types of bread (which by 09:00ish would be finished) and one kind of cheese and another thing that I would assume was cheese. So hop in the shuttle bus to Canton Fair and get yourself a Starbucks if you're not into the Chinese delicacies in the morning. Rooms has a good size, beds are comfortable and bathroom is okay. If you are tall like me, you might have to shower on your knees, but thats usual here. Staff speaks little English. Some are pretty keen to help, some don't give a peanut. There's a great shopping mall 16-20 RMB away. Get out of the hotel, cross the main road and get a taxi. Tell the driver you want to go to TAIKOO HUI. Laundry service is available but I discovered is third party. Expensive and you have to pay cash.

North one can understand what you want only hardly the reception staffs can communicate. Our Room should be No Smoking but we got smoking room when I went to reception to change the room they said the whole hotel is smoking only they removed the matches and ashtray. No tour desk also no one can advise or give you the tips to go around. No bell boy available. The house keeping didn't know what is suger or coffee so how they can help customers.

It's good choice of staying but a bit far from the public transport. We must take a car to the shopping center and subway. The room is very clean. The staffs are helpful and they can speak English very well.

Location is about a 15 min bus ride from downtown, but there is a brilliant bus stop outside the hotel which can take you to the MTR and to downtown. Rooms were very nice and quite big. On the downside it was extremely tedious to find this hotel, and we took 3 separate taxis before the driver finally found the hotel.

    Acceptable”

    1. There is no check-in procedure. It's just a mess for check in & check out. Reception counter staff taking their own sweet time, no hurry in serving to customers, even though I'm speaking their language (Mandarin). Staff not polite, not even smile. They don't allow you early check-in although there are only less than an hour to go before check in time. 2. Wifi is very slow, not up to current market needs. Not recommend for business travelers. 3. Location is not so good. Need to walk very far for markets/ shops & eating place. While walking along the side road outside the hotel, it is extremely smelly came from the big drain. Location bad! 4. When we found aircond is not working due to it is a centralized aircond, we have to call for service. When the staff came, thee told that the aircond was OFF due to December but the temperature in this area is really humid, outside temp is 26 degree. This is ridiculous! I really don't recommend this hotel to any other guest from outside CHINA. But there is one thing good about their staff which is they willing help me to send my belongings to my next hotel in another city which I accidentally left in their hotel. Thanks to the staff!

Poor English skills, poor interaction, very poor wifi access

I could only bear to stay one night. This hotel should not published that it has English speakers. As a single travelling female I felt completely lost and could not find any real assistance in this hotel. Their command of English was very poor, their consideration towards you as a visitor to their Country was very poor, their attendance to your needs was very poor or should I say curt. Which was completely different to the attention they gave to their own Countrymen. As a business traveler I depend on the internet - very, very poor. .

walk to and from city centre.

Room had a stale smoke odour, constant noise from traffic. Check- in I was asked to pay Y1000 - I didn't have this - then quizzed how about Y800 then 6000 then finally 100 which I paid. Check- out I was charged Y80, for using 3 tea packs and a small bottle of Evian water. The hotel did not make it clear to guest that these were not complimentary. Buisness travel girl not helpful re train ticket information to Shenzhen.

Welcome drink was not given as stipulated in the booking. Nothing to praise about this hotel other that the bell boy dept. Counter staff speak no or little English. Good hotel but far from Tianhe shopping center”

Environment, condition and comfort are the best things for selling purpose. Good facilities also in this hotel
Watch out for people can not speak Mandarin can be fool or cheat by the spa maid where you will be asked money for tipping 100 yuan cause the force to ask by write on a piece of small paper before you go out. So, very bad treatment for tourist like me who can not speak Mandarin.

The hotel itself is good with good facility, environment, quiet and so comfort for staying. Only the problem is in spa facility. Beware of the spa boy who will ask tipping money for 100 yuan. This is really terrible cause tipping money based on our satisfaction and not asking for certain amount of money.

After check in and going to the room, I found the bed as jsut too short for me and the room had nearly no furniture. Very disappointed I went back down to reception and complained. I got a free upgrade to a suite. That was a beautiful room and nice bed with all amenities you expect for that jind of hotel. Roomservice was fast. Only the wake up call did not happen and the breakfast was disappointing. mot really a western style breakfast.

    NEAR the railway station
Name is confusing. There is an open sewage drain in front of the hotel. The staff is very raw. Takes hours to check in. Language is a major problem in the hotel.

Everyone from the Taxi Driver to the Railway Officer call it a cheap hotel. Executive floor is the best one. Other floors are seedy. Breakfast is just OK.It is trying to become a good hotel but it has a long way to go. It took me one hour to get a deluxe room for which I paid Agoda. They kept giving me a standard room. Bathrooms are a ted too small. You have to come out and dry yourself.
