Excellent hotel for Skiing at Niseko Hanazono”
Had a wonderful stay at the Niseko Freedom Inn, the staff and their shuttle van made the stay very enjoyable and convenient! They'll drive guests to daily dinner at either Hirafu (center of Niseko ski resort) or Kutchan (nearby local town). The snow at Hanazono side was also better than the most of the other resorts. Highly recommend, would book again for next years ski trip.
Very cozy place and with very friendly staff”
The place is very near hanazono, and is very cozy. They have a very friendly staff. We planned to go to hanazono joining the shuttle at 930am. But because of the long travel, the kids had the hard time prepping in the morning so we missed the shuttle. But at our surprise, they also drive as there eventhough its off from their shuttle service. We are grateful for their kindness.
Excellent service from Jai, the manager. We enjoyed our stay except that our big group of 9 cannot fit into their free shuttle, hence travelling became less convenient for us, we require their only shuttle to do two trips to ferry all 9 of us, so a 15mins trip will extend to be 3 times as long. Though Jai was really nice and went out of his way to ferry us using his own car!
Highly recommended Nice ambience during winter Good for nature lover Private onsen Good owner
This place is a economical stay. But it is very cozy n fun. Facilities are limited. The fun part is the snow slide and snow toys that they prepared. The cozy part is the lounge with music, books, games, drink....
Very nice snowing view from the room, our children enjoyed the snow skating outside of the hotel. Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast by requested Vegetarian meal. Thanks for everything we had there.
Powder Snow adventure~”
Niseko Freedom Inn was a short walking distance from Hanazono where we enjoyed snow tubing and experiencing Niseko's fine powder snow! Room with tatamis was spacious and had good heating system!
Secluded in walls of snow”
We were there end Feb and the wall of snow is superb! It's a 2 mins drive away from Hanazono. They have shuttle services available. Just check with them and you will be able to access to anywhere around the mountain. Staffs are very friendly and helpful at all time. Freedom Inn is located basically in nowhere but between the beautiful walls of snow. If you prefer to stay in a quite place this is the place to choose. Grand Hirafu is too crowded but they have shops and restaurants though.
Everything is great. My kids love this hotel. Feel likes home. Very near Niseko Hanazono resort just 2-3 minutes drive where there are magic carpet for the beginner skiing free about 200 meters.
Next to the slopes”
Very friendly place which shuttlef around and was essy to get to hanazono lift. Very nice.
Great place to stay”
Location was perfect! It was very near hanazono ski resort.. They also provide free transportation service if you go to kutchan for dinner or other activities! All staff were friendly! Highly Recommended..
Superb Customer Service”
We had a very comfortable stay during winter. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Hotel provided free transport to and from Hanazono ski resort and Hirafu Village at specific time slots.
Little place near the ski hills”
I can't say enough good things about the staff at Freedom Inn. Breakfast is included in the rate. It's a very basic breakfast, but it's a hot one. Also, they do serve food at dinner time, but it's very limited; however, they will drive you to town for dinner reservations and then pick you up after. They will also drop you off and pick you up for any skiing activities (day or everning skiing).
Best for snowboarders and skiers”
Comfortable. When we informed the staff it was too cold in the room, they put an additional heater in the room for us.
Freedom Inn the niseko way”
The only bad thing about this hotel is the location which is quite far away from the hirafu town. Drivng takes 15 mins. It's far away from train stations as well. I spent 2000 yen for taxi to the hotel. However, they do provide shuttle van service from train station to hotel & hotel to hirafu but only at certain timings. So check with the staffs so you can time your arrival and activities. Otherwise this is a fantastic hotel. The staffs are the one who make your stay fantastic. You just let them know what you wanna do and where you wanna go. They will arrange and plan for you. Breakfast is good. I prefer this than the standard hotel stuffs. Hotel is clean. It's rustic and classic with a cool fire place where you can have a fun night drinking with friends. Plenty of snow around the hotel for you to play and not too crowded. I ended my stay with snow mobile riding which they help me to book and sent me to the train station. Once again 5 star service 👍👍. Highly recommend especially for people with car. If not it's still a wonderful hotel to consider for your next stay at niseko Cheers
Very nice Skiing area”
Location is not in center or valley but the very nice pick and and drop off service covered the drawback with no inconvenience. Good suggestion to restaurant and also provide drop off and pick up. Quiet nice area and clean room. Nice breakfast.
Fantastic experience in Freedom Inn. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and warmth. The staff help to arrange for visits to public bath, restaurants and to train station. They did not just drop you at those locations, in fact, they make sure you get the discounted tickets at the public bath and ensure you get the ticket for the right train ride before leaving. The free shuttle to nearby Kutchan town was good, they also help you to book those restaurants that are fully booked most of the time. The ski resort is just about 1km away, about 10min walk or 2 min drive away. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
Friendly staff and great, quiet location ”
Fantastic. Staff were very accommodating, have excellent local reviews of restaurants and also helped us out with a medical issue. All staff spoke some English which was great and were very friendly. Room was two single beds pushed together (a bit annoying after 12 nights) but room space and view were excellent.
Highlight of my trip in Japan”
This is the highlight of my trip to Japan. Niseko in a whole is awesome in winter. The snow is so soft and the weather is not gloomy at all. All the staff we met at Freedom Inn are EXTREMELY friendly and attentive. They recommended good eating places and there are shuttle services to everywhere and anywhere you want to go. We usually discuss with the staff on the schedule we have for the day and they will arrange the transport for us. However, if you take a bus to niseko, it will stop you at the tourist centre which is quite far off from Freedom Inn. You have to arrange with the people there a cab to send you to Freedom Inn. The room is huge and comfortable. We have plenty of space for our 2 big luggages and tons of shopping loot. Our aim of this trip is trying to ski. Freedom Inn is about 10min walking distance to Hanazono and the walk during winter is so refreshing, it's amazing. We are first time skiiers; took a half day ski lesson at hanazono and are able to ski down the long gentle slopes. My only regret is the duration of our trip was too short. I would definitely return for a 2 weeks trip! highly recommended!!
Homestay like experience”
Don't worry too much about it's location being a little "off". Its a minute drive from the slopes. 10minutes maybe to a place for dinner, but it's not a big deal, since they have shuttles available for guests.
