SUPER LATE CHECK-IN TIME”
The place is very accessible to our place. Staffs were all nice. However, no complimentary were given to us due to late check in because they are still cleaning the rooms. Instead of checking in at 2PM they allow us to check in at 3PM.
Surprised there was a hotel there”
Looks like a restored old house converted into a hotel (it is) however it connects to a building. Lobby is small and grounds have limited parking. There's some noise from the AC. Right across a big hotel and mall. Few minutes to convention area.
Accessible to the city landmarks and malls”
It is our 2nd time here in the hotel. the first was 2 years ago
Nice quaint hotel”
The reviews were right. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Location wise, it's very accessible to restaurants, mall and public transportation. The hotel's façade and interior gave off an old world vibe which was very nice. The room that I was given however was located in the middle of a stairwell leading to the lower floor. The location was a bit "off" and it was noisy. The breakfast buffet was expensive and there was not much variety of food to choose from.
Dear Ms. Michelle, Greetings from Orchid Garden Suites Manila! Thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate any kind of feedback to help us improve and to serve you better on your next visit. We hope to see you again soon. Warmest Regards, Ruby Rose Corpuz Business Center Staff
Better than expectation!”
I booked the hotel only because the price was good and it was close to my meeting venue, but the hotel was nice that it went beyond my expectation :) The lobby gave this very nice homecoming and Christmas vibe. The staff was nice, and the ocation was good as well. All in all, it was very worthwhile compared to the price I paid.
Orchid Garden Suite Thumbs Up”
The hotel staff were considerate and willing to fit in with guest's wishes or needs. Thanks Orchid!!
Great stay but ...”
A great place to stay. Stone throw away form centuary park hotel and the shopping mall. Room size were great. Big. However do not expect a quiet air conditioning. Breakfast spread is the same every day and wifi is totally unreliable. For a sleep over is great. But to expect anything more, maybe not.
Blast from the past ”
The lobby is very charming... the room was clean and the beddings comfortable. The toiletries are ok. Hot water is available in the shower area. I loved the ambiance during the buffet breakfast offered. You really need to take your time to enjoy it instead of rushing off to somewhere else. The access card is a bit outdated but generally speaking i had a pleasant stay. Will definitely stay here again
I had a peaceful sleep on the 8th floor of the hotel. The location is great, the surroundings clean and safe. What it lacks in scale, it makes up for in charm.I love that there is a restaurant attached where one could dine under the trees. Inside the premises, it doesn't feel like you are in the big city. Quiet, elegant, comfortable and charming.
Charming boutique hotel with courteous staff”
We were happy with the beautiful hotel, esp Cafe Alicia's deco - old charm of the 20s. The location of the hotel is near Harrison Mall where there's SM and Cultura, mercury drugstore and Shop Wise (all within 400m from Orchid) which is good, we could get our groceries to cook in the room. Halal shops is about 10mins taxi ride (PHP650 per way) and Mall of Asia is also just about 20mins. We stayed there because we had dealings with De La Salle University, a good 750m away by foot. All in all, love the hotel.
We used the executive suite and it was really spacious. We were able to request cooking set and that was very useful. The location is also very convenient as we have easy access to the convention venue (PICC) and personal and family needs (Harisson Plaza).
Feels like home”
I always book the executive suite whenever I stay in this hotel because the room is huge and not claustrophobic. As usual, traditional Filipino food is served during breakfast Hotel staff are very responsive to the needs and requests of their guests.
Affordable boutique hotel”
It was the best experience for a boutique hotel. Considering that it is already old but still managed to maintain to the highest standards. I recommend the staff for their superb performance. Loved their buffet breakfast!
Nice boutique hotel”
It was superb. The location was perfectly right for the papal's motorcade at Roxas Boulevard. The buffet breakfast is one of the best! More than worth its value! I recommend the staff for a well job done. Keep it up.
Impressed by its rustic charm”
I'm impressed by its straightforward service. Staff are well-trained to entertain guest and provide excellent customer service. The lobby, I believe, is part of an an old ancestral home converted into a hotel. I like the ambiance. It's simple yet elegance. There is this certain calmness when you enter the lobby. Something you will not experience in big hotels. As a balikbayan, breakfast was superb. It's not fancy captured my craving for Filipino food. It's like your grandma cooked breakfast for you. Some improvements would be to change the aircon and refrigerator in the room. They are quite noisy at night. I will definitely stay again at this hotel. There is this certain calmness in this hotel despite the busy streets of vito cruz. :)
Things did not get off to a good start as I was offered a room that was not what I had booked. I was then transferred to a much nicer room. The room seems a little outdated but had all the amenities that you could possibly want. The breakfast selection was the best of my many trips to the Philippines! Cleanliness good but the Filipino idea of a what constitutes a bath needs updating!
Centrally located with a class of its own”
The hotel is located near Harrison plaza which is only walking distance. The hotel has a class of its own since it maintained its old splendor especially the lobby although the hotel corridors when you go up has many nooks and crannies but nevertheless our room was comfortable and clean and has many windows so it does not feel claustrophobic at all. We will definitely stay here again. The breakfast has many choices!
Cozy hotel in Manila”
i reserved a room for my parents at the orchid garden suites the day before and after my graduation. nice facilities. tasteful interior. very homey. good buffet breakfast. my parents also saw from their room window the fireworks display scheduled that night at the mall of asia grounds - a nice bonus.
our room was on the 9th floor with a good view. the location is all right as well. we did smell a bad odor when we entered the room but my wife was able to make it go away with some fabric softener. the swimming pool was nice and it was really pleasant to swim at night. the staff was pretty good too. i did like the more vintage look of this hotel. it certainly was worth the money and we would stay here again.
good location in malate”
my room had a fantastic view. also colonial style of the hotel and small. coffee facilities and water in the room. but breakfast not in cluded and swimmingpool very small. for the first time in manila and travelling on my own, I felt cosy and save, like at home. I would book again for 1-2 nights. a bit too expensive, but generally a clean cosy hotel.
