Nice hotel a longtail ride from all the action”

This is a nice hotel, but be aware that you cannot get to the main areas of Phi Phi without taking a longtail which we didn't realize and was a costly mistake. There are not many places to eat nearby. The rooms were nicely appointed but very poorly lit. We paid extra to stay in a villa but the lower tier rooms looked very nice and avoided the hike up the steep hill. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good. If you're looking for somewhere secluded this may be for you. If you are coming on the ferry make sure you walk off and straight to the other side of the island (like 5 mins) which is much closer to the hotel and less expensive.

Great for Rest & Relaxation (@ a high price)”

This resort is located in Laemtong Bay, which is on the other end of Koh Phi Phi. You will have to longtail it to Tonsai Pier if you want to be in the middle of things. Be warned that because only 4 resorts and “Sea Gypsy Village” are located in this part of the island, prices at bars, restaurants, and the resorts themselves are inflated. Expect to pay almost double what you’d pay near Ton Sai for anything. While I enjoyed the serenity of this area, I would next time save money, stay near Ton Sai, and enjoy Long Beach if I want to lay out next to a beautiful and quiet beach, which is why I chose this area initially.

    Nicest beach i’ve visited worldwide!”

Me and my partner stayed here as a little treat for Christmas Eve and day! Nice resort, perfect for coples and people wanting to Relax, a boat journey away from tonsai bay (party area)! The room was very nice, the only down point was there were a lot of stairs to climb, which was fine for me and my girlfriend but could be a problem for some customers, that said the view you got for your climb was a beautiful sea view, you could watch from your terrace! The beach for me was perfect! Squeaky white sand and the clearest sea I have seen. Good free breakfast included also!

Great value for the money ”

This is my second time to this part of the island and the beach is wonderful. Not busy which is perfect for us. I have stayed at the Zealora which is next door and is a five star. But , you are paying 5 stars. The Erawan is 4 star with great rates . If on a budget Erawan is a lovely place to stay. A little a secret is to stay on the upper guest houses because we discovered that there is a wonder private pool over looking the ocean. My GF and I had a private pool to ourselves for three days. Also, at 4 - 6 there is happy hour bar that opens . We watched two amazing sunsets !! So, my recommendation is for the money Ewaran is great . But if you want a 5 star hotel the. zealora is a once in a life time stay!!

Best welcom ever from staff nothing bad to say about this hotel was stuning & will retern. Due to its location plan to stay at least 4 days its a long way from shops so take what you will need for your stay or you will need to pay for water taxi to PP town ship.

    Location, Beach, Quiet

Friendly, helpful staff though not the best English speakers. Very accommodating over an early check in. Excellent location on the remotest beach on the island and not expensive or difficult to reach with the shuttle boat. Breakfast better than I thought it might have been.

    Beautiful location, clean and comfotable

We think the location of hotel is really nice, the bay here is beautiful. The food is okay. The rooms are really nice! However, if you need to get to this hotel, you may need to take a taxi boat from the PP island center to the hotel and the cost is not cheap. If you want a cheaper price to get to the hotel, the first way is to get on the ship from Phuket to "north" of PP Island, the second way is to hire a long tail boat to visit maya bay/ bamboo island, put your luggages on the long tail boat and ask the sailor to drop you in Erawan Resort at the end of the trip.

Gorgeous Location with a personal touch”

Right next to beach, 4 other amazing resorts next door, lots of food choices, great service with a smile

we had a great stay here, the staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure we were safe and informed at all times. we loved the room (bed was a little hard), but otherwise amazing. the atmosphere is pleasant and you will love the idyllic atmosphere of the place. to leave and go to town or any snorkeling spots, you will need to take a longboat (town is a 2 hr walk, so don't attempt that), it was about 2000bht to rent for 6 hrs and totally worth it. the food was overall ok, not gourmet at this resort, but some of the resorts/restaurants nearby have some excellent choices. we only regret not being able to see maya beach because of the weather conditions at the time.

The location, the pool, the service

This was my second visit to Erawan, and again, it was an excellent choice of hotels. The rooms are large, and comfortable. The location is really hard to beat. The staff is one of the nicest I have seen in all my travels, professional in all respects. Dining is great, although they could step up the selection a little bit.

Great Place. Hard to get too. ”

My girlfriend and I stayed at PP Erawan Resort for 3 days after arriving from Ao Nang. We enjoyed our stay overall. Location is perfect. Right on the beach with a fantastic view. Staff are helpful and kind at all times. Our Superior Bungalow was clean and well supplied and designed. Our only issues were that getting there is a nightmare and the prices in the bars and restaurants are silly expensive. To get there from Ao Nang we took a van taxi for an hour, a ferry to Phi Phi for 2 hours and then another ferry to their location for another hour before unloading the boat and walking to the property. Lots of confusion and waiting around in between and it cost us around 600 baht per person. I would suggest that the property invest in their own boat, at least from Phi Phi pier if not Krabi and Phuket as well and just charge the guests for it. I would have paid extra to save time and confusion. Secondly the prices in the bar and restaurants are silly and their portions and drinks are small.

We stayed in one of the premium villas located high in the resort with amazing views out to sea... bit of a walk to get there but nothing too inconvenient. Rooms are basic but clean. Staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Hotel is located on the north of the island in a little semi private cove shared with three other similar hotels... much nicer than the main Tonsai area which reminded me of Benidorm in the nineties! Would definitely visit again but three days is probably enough

    Great resort, highly recommended!”

Our stay at Erawan Palms Resort was just amazing. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quiet and relaxing vacation. The resort is placed on Laem Tong beach, a 20 minutes boat ride from Ton Sai pier. It is a quiet, clean and maintained beach, with some restaurants offering really great food. The resort itself is very exstensive, placed on the beach and has various accomodations. It was renovated not long ago, and the rooms are beatifuly done and spacious. Cleaning was done every day with a great care. We enjoyed every minute spent in our room. But the best aspect of this hotel is the staff. Everyone were very friendly and kind and eager to help with any question we had. We felt very welcomed through our 9 nights stay. Resort manager, Ko, was dedicated to give us the best expiriense possible (and not only us). The hotel also offers shuttels to Ton Sai pier twice a day and a longtail boat services are available on the beach. Also has great spa and breakfast!
