Located in Yangon, Myanmar’s economic capital, this property is just a short drive away from the city’s must-visit attractions, including the unique Shwedagon Pagoda, the well known Bogyoke Market, the National Zoo, Kandawgyi Nature Park, and Botanical Garden that will impress both adults and youngsters. Although located in a peaceful residential area, Panda Hotel is excellent for both leisure and a business traveler since it is minutes away from the prime location of Yangon. Promising affordable and comfy rooms, higher level accommodations capture a beautiful view of the city skyline and offers even greater luxury than the lower floors. Panda Hotel is ideal for those who want to experience Myanmar’s rich culture during their vacation or business trip.
"Rooms are good enough and fairly priced for Yangon."

Good hotel with very helping staffs - value for money”
I am a frequent traveler to Myanmar. Most of the time I prefer to stay in this hotel. Although the breakfast quality is not very high, specially for the vegetarian, but one can manage. Will strongly recommend this hotel.
This was my second stay at the Panda hotel. I was there when I first arrived in Yangon and returned there after visiting Bagan and Mandalay. Staff was very helpful in checking on my airline reservations and helping with the international flight to Singapore when I left. Also, breakfast was very good.
Great hotel and i would love to come back again”
the very first thing which impressed me about this hotel is its cleanliness. Everything was as per my expectations, or rather I would say it crossed my expectations. The staffs were very co-operative and efficient. Breakfast was okay for me but had I been a non-vegetarian it was superb. Although they provided me free Wi-Fi but the speed was not great and they changed the password without letting the customer know. But am sure, its a small issue and they can easily resolve it.
Happy to stay in Panda Hotel once again”
Glad to have come back again. Appreciate the proximity to markets and city centre (a 10 minutes walk from the hotel to Scott Market). Nice room on 11th floor with bath tub, large window for a lot of light and good view.
This hotel was what we expected. Visiting Yangon with little kids can be challenging but it was a good family trip. The kids enjoyed the breakfast. We were surprised by an amazing view of the Pagoda from our room! The hotel was simple, clean and the staff were friendly.
Comfort and clean”
Nice and clean room, comfortable to stay, breakfast serve with variety of food, good location (easy access), wifi signal is good but if can be enhance further will be better, if come with a small gym room for guest use will be a big plus point, taxi is easily available infront of hotel making the transportation is so friendly
Quiet, big rooms, decent breakfast”
This is very good value for money hotel, compared to other hotels of a similar price in Yangon. On a quiet tree laden road which is much nicer than noisy downtown. In the suite I had views of the pagoda..nice at night. Close to the pagoda and the very interesting national museum, plus the delicious 'Feel Myanmar' restaurant.I'd stay here again.
Professional and pleasant staff who speak English”
The service is good. The only issue is that the toilet doors are faulty and if you accidentally lock the door while outside the toilet, you will need the help of the staff to open the door for you. You can find a service at almost every floor in the hotel. Also, their security staff are constantly alert and unlike other hotels, their security staff do not loiter inside the lobby. You will always see at least 2 security officers outside the hotels guarding the driveways and carpark.
Great location, spacious and well appointed rovroo”
Yangon is known for exorbitant room rates. Myanmar is opening up too fast and infrastructure can't cope. Panda is an old hotel. However owner, a young doctor, has invested to renovate the hotel. Wooden floors and furniture is given a new coat of varnish. Freshly painted walls and newly sewn curtains adorn the 600 sqf suite. There's even a smashing red Samsung fridge to up the style factor. Coupled with its great location (near Bojoke Market and 15 mins from Traders Hotel) Panda Hotel is excellent value for money. Hotel MD was quick to please. He strengthened the Wifi signal and added night curtains to the suite. Everything except the breakfast was great!!!
good and reliable”
Panda rates now at the same for similar category hotels in Yangon. Have stayed here numerous times and would repeat even if rates increased again. What was largely the domain of business travellers (PRC mostly) some tour groups have appeared. They seem kind of out of place in the non-descript and dated Panda, especially that its location from points of interest is a bit beyond their mid-aged, overweight and out-of-shape walking capabilities. A good thing about this Hotel is that it is kept up with fresh-paint, an improved breakfast and is clean, with spacious rooms. Management seems to care. Negative thing is Chinese clientele who act like they're in a dormitory with room doors open, going in and out of others at all hours, talking loud, and of course smoking everywhere.
Old Middle class hotel but service with a smile”
The personnal is smilling and it is still ready to help you. Drinking Service room and cleaning room perfect. The breakfast has many dishes, and you can ask for more, like omelette, fried eggs etc. The location of the hotel is good, but the hotel is old. The internet connection is a real desaster. You need one our to have a five minutes connection. I don't know if this problem comes from the hotel or from the country. Because that in my opinion, the price of the room is too high. Some wreck cars as taxi waiting you for a trip in front of the hotel. For better taxis, you have to walk 100-200 meters far.
Is a comfort hotel and service with smile.”
during our trip in yangon, we are happy with the panda hotel which is (3c)clean, comfort and convenient and easy to get taxi and bring you where you want to go. the staffs are friendly and able to speak simple chinese. wifi is available here, so you would not be disconnected.
Location great. Service with smile, helpful”
My family were very happy with the service provided. Staffs were always helpful and providing service with a smile. Most important was that the staffs were very genuine in their service. The hotel is clean and facilities provided as mentioned in their publication. I would recommend the hotel to friends travelling to Yangon. Price is still quite high.
wonderfuuly big rooms”
Panda Hotel was perfect for our family. Travelling with 2 under 3's is always a bit tough - but the rooms at Panda Hotel were enormous and our girls could run around. The Junior Suite was very good value and the separate living room meant that we could watch TV in the evening whilst our girls slept in the adjoining room and we would not disturb them. Room 1111 had a great view of the city and the river.
Convenient and good service hotel”
the hotel location is very accessible to many tourist spot. with a taxi of 2000 to 2500 kyats can reach our destination.the rooms are clean and quite big. the staff are very friendly and very helpful. there are quite a number of choices at the breakfast.
Great location and service with a smile”
The staff were very helpful and honest. They can solve any problems you ask.Just round the corner walk down the street there is a stall which sells some kind of a nun bread it is delicious. There are many taxis outside the hotel and with around 2000 kyats you can reach your destination. Will come back to this hotel in my next trip
Friendly staff, nice room and amenities”
i booked a suite with city view. the adjoining living room was huge and has great views of the city and pagodas. it is very clean and convenient faciities in the room - safe, fridge, hairdryer, long table, hot water pot and etc. good housekeeping. the staff are very friendly and helpful. the morning breakfast buffet was a reasonable spread of local and western. i had chinese dishes for lunch in the cosy restaurant and it was good. the stay was a positive one for a first time visitor to yangon. will return again for the good value for money and close proximity to most attractions. it took me less than 15 mins to walk to chinatown nearby.
Great Location and good service hotel”
the hotel was worth the price. it was very clean. all the staff were very helpful. the breakfast is also ok.the hotel was very near to tourist spot. taxis are easily avalible at the hotel.there is also a big shopping plaza with a distance of 5 minutes walk.
