Amazing Breakfast, Fantastic Staff”
We stayed here for two nights in a plunge pool room. Loved the beach, location, room and staff was great. The breakfast was super outstanding and the staff could not have been nicer. Just a few small issues: Lots of mosquitos but the staff supplied some spray and that took care of it. Also the room was big, but not really well designed (Large bathroom with open space but very small shower) This is not the hotel's fault or the staff, just perhaps some poor design. Still we loved the room and it was a very nice size. We may upgrade to even a larger room with a pool next time.
Perfect location, amazing staff”
We loved every part of our 7 night stay. From the moment you check in, you a welcomed with smiles and feel at home. Walking to the room, the gardens and paths are immaculate. The room (plunge pool) was the same. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, a lot of variety, even fresh green and red healthy juices. Highly recommend this hotel, looking forward to our holiday next year already
Nice Villa in a good location - perfect ONLY if everything worked and charges were clear”
Pros : - location. only reason to recommend this hotel - Friendly & helpful staff Ahmie who tried her best to make our stay great. - Villa was clean and housekeeping was good. - Best freshly brewed coffee at the breakfast buffet Cons - villa was dimly lit and the mosquitoes outside made the outdoor bathtub and Jacuzzi unusable at night. No hot water for the tub beside the pool. - pillows were flat until we requested for change. Sleep quality for first few nights were very bad. - tv pgms were limited unless you understand thai or chinese - aircon and fan remotes didnt work and these went on and off on their own. - being charged for mini bar consumption on first night despite being told that they were free. As reported in other reviews, this was waived after we pointed it out. TAKE NOTE! - Being charged a deposit of 3000Baht on our credit card upon checked in and was told it will only be refunded within 7 days after check out. No receipt given. - pool and spa under renovation
Great stay in the heart of Lamai”
We stayed for 8 nights and had an awesome time. The hotel is very well located in central Lamai. Great room with little plunge pool which was perfect for our needs. The pool is very nice and they are in the process of building a second pool overlooking the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and there were some nice breakfast options. The only recommendation would be to make the rooms a little more private as other guests can see over the walls into your villa when walking past, but this did not lessen our enjoyment of the stay at all. We would definitely stay at Pavilion again in the future.
Excellent location. ”
What stood out for me was how close it was to the Sunday night market. It was a 2 min walk to the night market. Also, it was also located right by the beach and 5min walk away from the centre of lamai. However, on the downside, the hotel staff did not clean our room on one of the days, and that the restaurants located nearby are mostly for tourists, so we did not really have a taste of authentic Thai food around the area. The hotel is very popular so chances of a late check out and an early check in are very low.

Best stay in Lamai ”
Hotel room was Fantastic staff so friendly and helpful clean tidy everything you expect could not fault them. Thank you for a nice and relaxing stay
Highly recommended resort on the beach ”
We stayed at a Residential Pool Villa room with a baby. It was definitely one of the best resorts that we have ever stayed. The resort’s spa was a letdown, but everything else was perfect. Super friendly and helpful staff, fabulous restaurant and bar on sandy beach, excellent culinary experience. Highly recommended.
We only stayed two nights in one of the turbo pool villas and wished we had booked for longer. Have nothing at all to find fault with. The room and private pool were amazing. Exceptionally clean with all the inclusions and details you expect when paying this price. The buffet breakfast was high standard with lots of variety including fresh cooked food stations. The staff were extremely professional as well as friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend highly even if you can only splurge for a couple of days.
Nice stay ”
4 nights stay with 2 kids. They love swimming and beach. Hotel insist to add bed charge if come with older children, they use the sofa bed and put up mattress and charge 2000 batt accordingly per night. Every Sunday night got night market just few step away from hotel. Lots of local food and cloth.
Had an wonderful stay in this resort in mid November. Plunge pool suite was excellent. Very well maintained resort area and swimming pool. Breakfast okay but would appreciate if some continental dish was included. Front-desk staffs are very friendly. Location is very center with a lot of options for dine. Definitely will recommend others and stay again.

double booked room”
Everything was ok. The room was double booked so we were "upgraded" to the plunge pool room which was ok but not what we wanted or paid for. The pics of the rooms are not in the main part of the resort, they are on the other side of the street. The rooms on the main side are older and not as nice but are closer to the pool and beach. Also the bed for a third person is very hard. Staff were very nice and helpful. if i were to stay again, i'd request the newer room and i'd probably use the gym more often haha.

Bathroom...why do hotels have open bathrooms? Can someone tell them that guests do not want to see other guests (even when the other guest is a partner) showering going to the loo making themselves up etc. Other than that a really nice stay.

Very good hotel”
This hotel is defiantly need to be 5 star hotel, excellent private beach. walking distance from Lamai center, near good restaurants and everything you need, i think it will suit better a couples or old groups or married with children, the hotel is so quiet after 20:00, we talk a bit loud in the room and got phone calls to lower our voice, i very liked the room and design but if you want to come as solo traveler or a friend that has a room also and get company from some bar this hotel will not suit you so much. There is couple more thing i will improve, the shower very unclean at my room and my friend room also, and the price is bit overpriced.

Great resort with excellent staff ”
The good : Staff was very friendly and helpful, big rooms, excellent breakfast, private sea,got free room upgrade, guest friendly hotel. The bad: lots of mosquitoes, the jacuzzi is not really private, its outside the room and not completely sealed. Had a connecting door with the room next, which cause complains on noise at evening! The hotel should find a solution for this.

Pretty Good... Eventually”
We checked in here for our wedding night and were very disappointed to find ourselves in the room we had most definitely not paid for. Normally, I'd tolerate an ant or two on my bed in Thailand but I was most peeved because we'd booked a better room. To their credit, this was resolved the next morning and we were given a minor upgrade but no financial remuneration for their error. The breakfast was alright, nothing to report home about but the service generally was superb. The restaurant immediately across from the hotel (but linked to the hotel) was fantastic and we ate there more than twice. Very delicious food at a reasonable price. The hotel transport was hard to get while nearby taxi drivers predictably tried to overcharge at every opportunity. Part and parcel of the Samui experience sadly. My biggest gripe would be with the gala dinner which cost 7500THB per person I believe and came with one solitary alcoholic beverage. The food was acceptable but I was expecting gold plated sandwiches for the price we were forced to pay for it in order to secure our room. Ultimately, I guess that money went on the entertainment for the event which was cringeworthy at best and downright awful at others. Never mind though, these things have become the norm in Southeast Asia and no matter what resort you find yourself at during Christmas New Year almost anywhere you'll get hosed for one of these dinners.
Super great hotel”
The service of the receiption and the employee who is in hotel, is excellent. The hotel is very close to beach and have a great view, nice breakfast there. and even enjoy a afternoon by the beach. also you can massage next to it, it is very cheap. The room is very good and big!! I enjoy the jakuji and the size of room very very much!!
Very pleasant and enjoyable stay!”
I was upgraded to a pool villa. It was a pleasant surprise and we had access to our own plunge pool. The room was nice, clean and secure. Although it was a bit small. Very close to the beach and the pool was very nice.
Relaxing, romantic, quiet ”
Very good for a private getaway. Quiet and away from the partying at chaweng, yet close enough to get to chaweng and bophut by scooter. Private hydro pool was nice although it is inevitable that there would be Mosquitos. Would Hv preferred the villas to be further spaced from each other though. Spa was relaxing and enjoyable.
