Nice place and convenient”
We stayed to celebrate NYE as we booked the restuarant nearby this hotel. Room was nice and clean with Centara Grand Mirage view so we could see the sunset. Breakfast is included but we didn’t wake up to take it tho. Not sure about general price as everywhere was raising the prices during the festive time.
Hotel for big tour ”
Every thing is fine but If you stay this hotel for business trip I might not recommend as many big tour arrive this hotel and too noisy. From 8:00 in the morning 15-20 Chinese enjoyed swimming pool so much. You can see how noisy it would be...
Expect Loads of Tourist”
Away from the nosier parts of Pattaya further south, not too convenient for one that does not drive. There were no convenient “song-taew” taxis that could get me cheaply over to the other sections of Pattaya where food and entertainment were aplenty. Expect to pay more for transportation to and from here, a lot more. The upside was that it was a pleasantly quieter environment, that was till noisy Chinese tourist decided to invade the pool past midnight after their entertainment spree elsewhere. Rooms were large and featured a trendy toilet with a large glass window. So if your trip sleeps 2 on a business trip, can watch your colleague bath in full plain sight. I had my trip booked from an online booking website and the price was very good compared to a walk in. In fact it was one of the most economical good value for money stay I had on my trips to this region of Thailand. Economical means, do not expect any extravagance. Breakfast was average matching price, but was a crowd as there was loads of tourist. My basic need was I needed a good sleep. The pillow was ridiculous hard and high and I ended up with 90 degrees neck in the morning. Nevertheless, all in all, the price made it a worthwhile stay, maybe just bring my own pillow next time.
Booked a room based on the photos but ended up in an older building in another wing. Felt disappointed, although the room was ok. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere. Nice quiet location though and only a 5min walk to the beach.
My stay at the hotel was good. Staff were helpful, location was good and the room was comfortable. My one criticism of the hotel was the breakfast, it was not as good as it should be considering the number of guests. They were overrun and had difficulty keeping up.
clean and cheap but far from anything”
this hotel is great if you want to be near the Centara Grand Mirage or want to be slightly removed from the action but close enough that you can access it by taxi or motorbike. rooms are spotless, a/c is cold and bathrooms are very modern. there is construction going on next door and it's a pretty quiet hotel so you won't feel like you are in the midst of anything.
Decient but Pattaya has better for the money”
It was clean, and the bathrooms are up dated with shower and tub. Breakfast is an additional $8 per person. Coffee was So, so. Bed is hard. And you only get two pillows for a king size bed. We were glad to go home. And I think there was some photo shop done to their picture of the pool. In real life it looks small, shallow, and crammed into a small area in front of the hotel. We have gotten a better deal in Pattaya. And I hope I find the place I stayed at before. It was a better deal. Although this one is far better than what America would give you for the money.
Enough for staying.”
When we arrived hotel at 14PM, there hadn't prepare for us about room making. If you taken reservation, you don't trust regulations and hotel policy. This hotel's customer almost Chinese. Because you have to understanding all of things. Also us, when taken breakfast didn't empty the table, can't taken food enough. But two thing I love. This hotel was very very clean and cheap. Perhaps you want to compared cost per quality, I think very good. Finally here was close to sea about 5min for walk. I recommend here.
nice hotel and staff. Very comfortable bed
Check the conditions about kids staying and breakfast ”
I booked the hotel with Agoda in condition for 5 adults and 2 children can use this room. I have 5 adults and 1 kid, But once I checked in, the hotel charged 250฿ Per kid for ABF. This is have to clear for all customers, not nice.
Prima Villa is a nice, modern hotel however if you look for luxury it’s a wrong address. The hotel has really nice pools and large rooms, but some of them need refubrishement. Breakfast is in Thai style, with lots of spicy dinner-like food. Hotel is very busy and seems to be a stop-over for bus trips from China. Unfortuately the reception desk crew barely speeks English so if you have any issues you need a translator and patience to communicate with them. Overall I would get back there.
Cons : 1.need to pickup welcome drink by ourselves in the front of the hotel. 2. A lot of Mosquitoes , I asked the staff to sprey or do something , but they ignored.3. I stayed for two nights , second day , no cleaning service even I was out of the room the whole day. 4.Slow internet Pros : Cheap and not too far from the beach.
Good Value. Lock your door. ”
All was pleasant and good. The room was clean, and well kept for being an older building. Despite the bus loads of tourists coming in and out of the hotel lobby, and 100% occupancy the nights we where there, the room was still very quiet. Good walls between the rooms. The walk to the public beach was not to far, maybe 7 minutes. The beach was a little busy, and dirty. The sea water is nasty cloudy green, full of who knows what. We wouldn’t get in the water anywhere in Pattaya though. The bed was a bit hard, and the strange foam pillows where not to our liking. The one and only real issue we had, was the last day, at about 9am when getting ready for breakfast and check out, the maid opened our door without knocking, even though the do not disturb was on. When we left the room, no one was cleaning the entire floor we where on. No maid cart, no nothing........ makes me wonder what she was even doing coming into the room at all. Glad we where fully clothed, but next time I stay, I will be bolt locking the door.
Overall is good.”
Overall is good. It has a Family Mart in front of the hotel. Staffs are good and helpful. Swimming pool is not big. The room also clean. Welcome drink is nice. The location is convenient for traveling anywhere in Pattaya. Breakfast is ok. There has parking.
Just a normal room (does not look like the picture)”
I got the room with nothing like the picture. No pool view. No transparent glass between bedroom and bathroom. Just a normal room. Also, a certain level of voice from next room came into my room at a late time. The quality of the room was standard, if you expect just a normal room.
Horrible Staff attitude and try to treating us!”
We were in Pattaya to join our Friend's wedding at PULLMAN! Our friends asked receptionist to send us 2 bottles of whiskey to our room. We went down and asked if anyone sent us anything, asked many times and the staff said nothing. Next day, on the way we walked back to hotel, conincidently I saw a familiar bag below the counter, I asked if these are our bottles? They said someone said the room 1412 but didn't said the name. Well, I stayed at 1412, what else do you expect? The staffs and manager started to show a horrible attitude and turn back on us. Well, I guess I got nothing to say and promise myself will never ever visit this hotel again nor recommend any of my friend.
This hotel take all the utilities like hand towel, carpet, table, chair in the room. When ask for it, they mentioned as the room is promotion price from Agoda. Agoda shall check on this hotel as we got discount from booking under Agod website, but we never ask for cheap hotel room. Does it means Agoda = cheap room facilities/utilities ?
Rude manner of Reception staff”
We arrived on Friday 3th June around 6 PM. When went to in front of receiption, there was 1 mail staff in the counter but no greeting or any welcome or asking for anything from us. I stand there almost 5 mins until femail staff came to greet us and help check-in procedure. As hotel staff, you should do your job to satisfy customer not fail customer satisfaction. Hotel manager please review your reception team. Thank you.
nice hotel, great rooms, but not aimed at brits”
My wife and i had a lovely holiday whilst staying at the prima villa hotel. There were a couple of samll issues, firstly no one on the reception had any clue about english speaking so communication was difficult.I was told i needed to pay $100 dollars before i could get my keys but no one could explain to me why i needed to pay this.I also only had Pound sterling and they looked like they had never seen this beofre hence they didnt know what it was worth.I managed to get through to them that £40 was equivalent to 2000 baht and i was happy to give them that.It turns out it was a deposit incase you spend any money in the bar or restaurant i think. We are beach people really so the fact that the pool was pretty much in the shade didnt bother us as we didnt really use it.The location was great for the beach as only 5 minutes walk and we were on the beach, the supermarkets were very handy and right outside the hotel there was one where we bought beers, water and sancks to fill our fridge up in the room. Was really nice to come back from the beach and have a few cold beers on the balcony watching the sun go down before heading off out for the evening.Towels were provided and plentiful as you leave the hotel in the morning which is great as you dont have to use your own and get clean ones every day.Breakfast was pretty much standard and nothing to write home about an in fact most mornings we didnt even bother as there are loads of beach and street sellers where you can get brunch/lunch very cheaply. The rooms were probably the best we have ever stayed in when travelling to these sort of countries, really large room, excellent shower, nice big bed, balcony with sea views(restricted by other hotels)with really good aircon, safe, fridge, good maid service.all in all greast value and around £40 a night for b&b.Would definitely stay there again if returning to this area
great relax & worth money in a local hotel 'Prima'”
The pacific room is quite nice, 4-star facilities in room. we got the first floor 'the pool access' as the reception inform to free upgraded for us. we pay for the breakfast at room no.1 as it's closed to our room. the food is quite nice and we can chill out near the swimming pool. the beach near the hotel is not crowded, we never know that there is a secret beach in pattaya.
