A fine place”
A bit older, but very clean and comfortable. We got a good night's sleep. Bedding was very comfortable, and the room temperature was fine. The building front doors don't open automatically, and they're heavy, so pulling in luggage was a bit awkward. Oddest thing is the hallway and stair carpet, which is in a confusing mismatching pattern of light and dark lines. Gotta be careful walking down stairs so I didn't miss any! The morning breakfast was adequate. I commented to the desk clerk about the lack of meat; she replied that they change the menu daily, and today the sausage was in the gravy. I avoid carbs, so I would avoid the biscuits and gravy. I had two hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Except for that, it was a very good stay. Pet friendly with a $20 charge.
