This very modern resort in the Cantonment area of Varanasi offers contemporary style and luxury to both business travelers and tourists. The Ramada Plaza JHV Hotel in Varanasi, with its signature cylinder-shaped architecture, has exceptionally well-trained staff and outstanding leisure options that include a swimming pool with a swim-up bar and a race track. The spacious rooms have garden or pool views, modern facilities including internet connectivity, and marble bathrooms. The Silk Route restaurant serves Chinese food, Tadka serves Indian cuisine, and there are several more bars and coffee shops. A shopping mall is situated right next to the resort and the train station is only 1.5 kilometers away while the airport is 22 kilometers away. The famous Ghats are also just a short drive from Ramada Plaza JHV Hotel. Book your room now at Ramada Plaza JHV Hotel via our secure online booking form.

Clean room , good service, nice staff location close to mall ”
I back here because of good experience. Next I will choose Ramada again
Probably the best place at Varanasi”
If you intend to visit temples as well as other places of worship, this hotel is well located at Cantonment area along with other hotels. If your intention is to experience the Ghats, please consider other hotels. Ramada is a cosy hotel run by polite and helpful staff. The Palate restaurant serves a good variety of food options for both breakfast and dinner. There is also a mall right next to it which provides all the necessary groceries if necessary. Mr Ritesh from the travel desk arranged our transport and I would like to recommend Mr Ali Pathan to be your driver. Mr Pathan basically planned our itinerary for us as he is aware of the proximity of each place of worship/visit. Furthermore, he speaks English pretty well and he can also double up as tour guide. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Varanasi. My family and I are already planning our second trip to Varanasi as we were all enchanted by this beautiful city as well as the hospitality provided by Ramada.
Great place. Awesome food. Great staff. Really nice neat and clean.
NOT VERY CUSTOMER FOCUSED - MORE INTO TOURIST CATTLE STAYS”
Very mush a High Transit Hotel for large numbers of Coaches arriving and going day and night, not the best for those looking for a easy check in in and easy check out, also the staff try their best and are very courteous, but the Hotel is not the best for relaxing, chose something out of the City area, as most of the Hotel is occupied by Army Officers too, as its near a large Army base. Other than this its ok, 40 Mins from Airport but another 15 minutes from Ghats.
Hotel good for business travelers ”
This is a good quality hotel, ideal for business travelers. The facilities & food are good. Close proximity to JHV mall which is next door & being situated in Varanasi cantonment area is neat clean area. However surprisingly the check in staff told me that my breakfast was inclusive in the tariff, whereas I thought it was. That is the only negative remark about my stay.
Excellent hotel . Very Disappointed with Non A/c”
Very Bad !! We booked 14 A/c Rooms on different sites. No a/c so we all suffered the Heat & Humidity. No point in saying Sorry !! If a hotel is booked A/c & does not Provide A/c then all pccupants must becompensated with Free Rooms in future stay or Financial !
Nice familiar Ramada comfort: bed and bath excellent, clean. It is a nice cool refuge from time in a swirling city. I liked the closeness to the rail station particularly. Also, a small mall is close by, with McD and Pizza Hut; sometimes you want to fall back into familiar territory! The counter staff made some diffiulty about accounting for the mini-bar, and failed to immediately involve a supervisor to smooth over a trivial point. That would be my only small negative comment. In summary, I was very glad to find a good Ramada easily available after a rail journey.
Tired but comfortable”
Hotel looks old but clean, nice big room and bath. Set in pleasant garden with walking track and swimming pool. Wifi expensive. Check in was easy and fast with polite and friendly staff. Location was good, in an area of other 5 star hotels and only 30 minutes from airport by taxi. The hotel F&B was ok, we had both the breakfast and dinner buffets which were fine. Had a few beers in the dark and interestingly named Toxic Bar at the hotel. Only drama was at checkout, where they tried to charge me for the rooms again, even though prepaid voucher provided at checkin.
After many disappointing hotels in India we were happy to stay at a good hotel, which we found in the Ramada. It is a bit outside, but easy access to the city and major sights is provided. The rooms are very nice and quiet and we could have a good rest.
Nice room, but far from the city center”
Nice hotel, but take time for checking process, arround 30 mins. Over all, it's a nice experience stay in Ramada. Just it's a bit far away from the city center, every time need to pay 150 for tricycle.
very nice hotel, friendly and helpfull staf”
This was my 2. stay at Ramada and it was just as exellent as the first time last year. I already plan to stay there again in October 2011.Its very important when you travel alone, that you can rely on everything. The rooms are very nice and staff are friendy and helpfull. The surroundings are calm and clean. I can recommend the hotel to all I know who will go to Varanasi.
As a single traveller its important that things function, and they sure did at Ramada Plaza. All staff are very friendly and helpfull. The sourroundings are fine with a nice poolarea. Next time I go to Varanasi, I will go back and stay at Ramada Plaza.
I was pleasantly surprised with the Ramada Plaza. The location is adjacent to a mall in a park-like setting with excellent facilities. However the most remarkable aspect of my stay was tbe service. I felt this was good value for money.
A bit far from the ghats, but very good”
We had a suite (3102) and was very large and comfortable, with 2 bathrooms, 1 large living room and 1 double dining room. Large wardrobe. The hotel is decently maintained. Price is excellent (high for the area, but we though was good in general). Staff is very polite (but slow in responding to requests). Food: not impressed in general, but we tried the multicuisine restaurant (for dinner and uneventful buffet, not bad but nothing special. For breakfast probably a notch below the competition). Note: We asked one of the staff if there was a-la-carte option and he replied that only the buffet was available. Then we were chatting to the F&B manager (literally 10 minutes later) and he said that a-la-carte was available... disappointing. In general a good experience
Peaceful retreat off Varanasi Din”
We had an amazing stay of 4 nights; full marks in comfort, spaciousness and efficient service standards. Their travel desk is also very helpful, though expensive for transport. We got a very good guide, Gopal Sharma through them, who made our trip very meaningful. The front desk and housekeeping too need a special mention for their immaculate care and attention. The food and service in the restaurants is outstanding, especially at ‘Tadka’ The hotel is outside the city, so be ready to pay a fair bit for hotel transport, unless you take an Ola. The autos is Varanasi are quite an opportunistic and unprofessional bunch. Irrespective of the transport mode, the drivers are an unhappy lot, stressed with unorganized congested traffic; and therefore they try to make up with opportunistic gains either through their rates or as a commission from your shopping.
The behaviour of front desk officers is not friendly.”
Every thing is excellent except the front desk staff. I have booked through your site it have taken more than 30 minute to pay the money one day before the day of check in as I was having a wedding function in same hotel. Again next day the front desk staff have refused to give the room showing no record. Again it have taken more than 30 minutes to convince them. There behaviour is not upto the level of a star hotel. They are not professional and not well trained.
The hotel is old but renovated. The lighting in the rooms is very dim and poor. We stayed at the club floor, which was big disappointment. Certainly not value for money. The dinner at both the restaurants were good and staff were very attentive and excellent, but the breakfast was sub-standard. For the same price, I would stay at the Taj Nadesar, which is in the same vicinity.
Will never stay at this hotel with a bunch of lazy staff”
The reception staff were so arrogant. No welcome, no greetings. Behaved as if they were our proffesors. Even the conceirge staff did not his job by leaving our luggage unattended for more than 10 min and making an excuse that the hotel was busy. In fact the hotel was not busy and even if yhat is so, it is not our business. Food and drinks are also of low quality. No value for money.
Breakfast here is the top!!! The only thing I am a bit disappointed is that one person at the front desk (man) did not treat us well.
Staff were helpful and friendly and good facilities.. Rooms were clean but slightly dated.. Breakfast had a lot but honestly wasn't much that I liked.. Overall worth the price paid..
Free Wi-Fi in all rooms!
