This stylish boutique hotel is located in the heart of Chiang Mai’s entertainment district and a stone’s throw from the Night Bazaar. Raming Lodge Hotel is a particular favorite with travelers looking to enjoy the nightlife and bargain hunting in downtown Chiang Mai, as it is only a five-minute stroll from the Night Bazaar and a few minutes’ walk from a host of restaurants, bars, night clubs, and massage parlors. The Thapae Gate and a few temples nearby are also worth paying a visit. The Raming Lodge is a relatively new hotel and all rooms are clean, spacious, and stylishly decorated. It also offers a complimentary internet connection if you stay in a deluxe room. In a good location within the Old City, with easy access to shops, night markets and entertainment all within walking distance, good massage places literally across the street! The airport is 15 minutes away. Everything worked great: internet, AC, hot water. Good size rooms, comfortable beds. Strong water pressure, big size bathrooms. The buffet breakfast included in price is just OK. Only drawback was the swimming pool, which is across the street and is in the shade most of the day. The staff are helpful and courteous, overall had a good time, value for the money paid.
Best value for money with excellent location.”
I've been to Chiang Mai 30 odd times and always stay at this hotel. Large rooms, excellent service, clean and an very good breakfast included make this hard to surpass. Add to that the location is brilliant, near the night market just off the moat, on the bar strip with many restaurants nearby, just too good.
Not very friendly clerks.”
Maybe it's because we are holding Chinese visas, but it doesn't necessarily mean we are not polite and loud in public places.. The hotel is not quite nice to stay, given the facilities and the cleanness. Location is good though.
All perfect for traveller who doesnt know much about Chiang Mai.
The third time here”
Good location - takes 10 mins to walk to night bazaars Friendly staff Only 1 thing this time. I got many itchy bites on both of my thighs in a morning i woke up. And i got more in the next morning. The bites are all over my thighs. Not sure i was suddenly allergic to the bed or it was the flea.
Best internet ever and perfect for single traveler.”
Everything worked great: internet, AC, hot water. Location great and staff very professional with single traveler needs. The hotel stands perpendicular to the street between other buildings, so only a few rooms will have views. But mine had plenty daylight even so. Buffet breakfast quite good. Only drawback was the swimming pool which is across the street and somewhat cramped I'm glad i stayed there.
Very nice place to stay in, close to the old town of Chiang Mai and to most of the lively places. It is also right in front of the booth I found having the best exchange rate (at least for EUR in March 2019). Very kind and helpful staff members.
Good location and spacious room”
Staff is polite and helpful. Location is good, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Room is spacious. Breakfast is good. There is free shutlle service to airport. The only thing feel not comfortable is the swimming pool is not suited inside the hotel. You need to cross a very small road.
Good location and friendly staff”
All good, breakfasts were good with variety of food. Staff were friendly and helpful . On site restaurant for evening meal was fair. Mosquitoes were hiding under outside tables for breakfast not very pleasant. Pool is located over the road from hotel but ok. Rooms are large and bathroom good. Location is close to night bazaar and plenty of restaurants nearby also many massage places close by! Value for money.
Great Hotel with Comfortable Rooms and Pool with a Bar”
The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was decent. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was one of the best in the 4 hotels we have stayed at. Would definarely
Worsted front desk customer service
Good location, fair quality”
I've stayed here many times. The rooms are old but workable. I've never found the staff very friendly but that really doesn't matter. While they have a parking lot, it's way too crowded and the staff running it are clueless.
Great location, great breakfast. Big rooms”
I booked in to this hotel as I knew the road from the last time I was in Chiang Mai. The hotel is in a great location and set back enough from the main road to not get alot of traffic. I had a huge room with a massive bathroom and big bed. The breakfast was great. The eggs cooked fresh and there was bacon yummy. The hair dryer was one of the better ones I have had at a hotel. The Raming Lodge is across from a few massage places with friendly staff and are near money changers. There are also a 7/11 near by. The only thing was the pool was not in the complex but about a 2 minute walk ouside. I did not swim in it but it looked very nice. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.
Relaxing lovely hotel”
Staff on arrival very pleasant. Room was really nice and clean. Bed really comfy. View to mountain from balcony nice. Bathroom had amazing huge walk in bath for shower or bathing. Had fun there. Breakfast was perfect. Lovely ambient courtyard to sit and eat breakfast. Would stay here again if in Chiang Mai. Loved it
Excellent location in the middle of the nightlife. Huge room with huge but very hard bed. Get 3 rd floor or above if you want a view. Great breakfasts. Enjoyed our stay and will stay again when in CM.
Not what it used to be”
I’ve travelled Chiang Mai about 15 times but this time seems to be going downhill. The tv listings have been changed very limited but ok if your Chinese or Japanese.when you want to relax no comfy sofa only a wooden chair with a cushion or back on the bed you’ve slept in all night
Stayed here many times ”
Good location and dependable service and value. It’s one of the few hotels in the area with parking, though it’s limited. The lower priced rooms are a bit cramped and dark, but premium rooms are pleasant and recommended.
For the money, location and breakfast you can beat this hotel. Right on the main street for food, shopping and bars. The pool is just across the street and it's very nice. Great hamburger place right there. If you are looking for things they have a wonderful tour desk right there.
Good location, staff are supper helpful and friendly ”
Good location with spacious room. Staff are exceptionally friendly & helpful. However, the rooms in one of the wings have a strong stench caused by a sewage system issue. This needs to be seriously looked into as it will seriously turn off many potential clients.
Great location, clean rooms, very good size. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was good. In the evening would be good if there was a bar to be able to sit at inside. Burgers were good in the Rock Restaurant, but could turn the sound down a bit! As very busy street, with many bars, could get a bit loud at night. However these are minor quibbles, enjoyed my time there and would happily stay again.
