We spended two nights in this hotel for my short holiday in Siem reap. The hotel provide us free airport pickup. The staff there very friendly and helpful. My room facing to pool view. Highly recommend this hotel
Great place ”
This is my second time that I stayed here during my weekend in Siem Reap, the staff there very friendly and helpful, special thank to Mr. Chanthou, front desk staff he offered me to late check out till 2pm while my flight was delay. Only one thing to improve is wifi in the room the signal very weak, I will go back to stay there again and highly recommend this hotel to other traveler,
everything was ok, staff are very helpful and ready to assist anytime. Only issue is the wifi in 4th flr were i stayed; ita very hard to connect to wifi even in midnight. Overall this hotel is good for 4 star hotel and will recommend to my friends.
Fantastic and Superb vacation”
This is the best hotel i stayed so far from all of my travels! This hotel is highly recommended when you visit Siem Reap. They have many freebies during my stay like free airport pick up, room upgrade. We even had a free late check out! The 1 day private tour also is amazing, we were treated like a boss, and the price is fair enough. ALL staff are so fantastic! It was indeed a memorable stay!
Enjoyable and statisfied”
Stay was above expectations. Airport transfer was great and without delay. Staffs were friendly. Greeted by welcome drinks. Helpful staff planned my itinerary with a reasonable fee. Staffs arranged for transportation as requested and kind enough to send reminder calls. We were very well served.
great, feels like home!”
Upon arrival at the airport, we've already seen Mr. Sokkol and Mr. Phillip. They greeted us with smile and very energetic though it was 11 pm already. A van and a lexus car fetch us from the airport. While we were on our way to the hotel, Mr. Sokkol was already touring us around, as if he was our tour guide. He's s good in English that we had no problem talking with him. He even asked if he can help us to organize our itinerary. We were welcomed at the hotel with an orange juice, so refreshing. The rooms were spacious, ideal for families. each room has bath tubs for the guests who want to relax. When we asked for another bedding, they charged us for free! We took our late dinner on the PUB street together with Mr Sokkol and Mr. Phillip. They toured us along the way. They became our friends and family in our stay at the hotel. Whenever we have needs, they attended such so well.. When we were about to go to Angkor Wat, they had our breakfast prepared and taken out to the temple. All the staffs are greeting us with smile. Our stay in this hotel is the best ever since we traveled. Mr. Sokkol is an asset of this hotel, he must be well taken care of. Mr Phillip was so kind as a manager. The two of them was also with us when we were bout to leave Cambodia. Though it's not time for work, they found a way to be with us. It's sad we had to leave them, it feels like we left a family member there.
Lovely hotel with good service”
Our family arrived on Christmas Eve. As we arrived, the hotel staff help us with our luggage and lead us to the front desk to check into the hotel. The hotel staff invited us to sit down and immediately we're serve with cold tower and welcome drinks. As we're still enjoying our cold drinks the front desk staff had completed register our stay and he come out of the front desk to give us the room key, and our luggage also been send to our room immediately. We're surprise to see our daughters room already had the extract bed as we required during our booking. (5* service) All the hotel staff are friendly and polite. have a wonderful pool side Christmas party with buffet dinner in the hotel. Food are wonderful. But the bed is a bit too hard.
Service with a Smile”
The Royal Empire Hotel is a home away from home. Even if I travelled alone, they were able to make me feel at home and secured. Everyone from reception, the restauranr staff and concierge helped me go around my way through the city. From my arrival to my departure, the Front Office Manager, Mr. Lim saw to it that the details were captured by everyone.Special thanks to Pov Pheaktra for assisting me from the time I arrived at the airport till the time I departed. It was seemless. My trip to the Temples were perfect because of my Tuk tuk driver Mr. Teak. Do check him out as part of the support of Royal Empire Hotel. He is kind, patient and he is sincere. I plan to go back to Siem Reap and this time with my family so they can get to experience the same fun I had while I was there and will definitely stay at the Royal Empire Hotel.
Lovely , Beautiful & Modern Hotel”
I with my parent stay at Royal Empire Hotel for our 1st night at Siem Reap. A smiling & nice guy pick us to the hotel from air port. We are very suprised with the big room & beautiful swimming pool view. My parent were very satifield & stong recommend to all traveller.
Relaxing environment with friendly staff”
We had a great stay at the hotel our room was perfect for us and had a nice view of the pool area with a small balcony in which we enjoy a couple of nights. We also did enjoy the food except for the breakfast as it seems to cater more towards asain food then western foods. I myself would like to have seen more veriety in the selection in this area, but that is just me. We also did have some trouble with a short in the power in our room, but the staff can and fixed it right away which was great. Not much else to say except we would surly stay there again if we ever return to Cambodia.
Very poor communication”
Booked the hotel for two separate nights.... Confirmation informed me they are on the same day.... rang the hotel personally almost a month prior to arrival. Reception put me onto hotel reservation. Informed lady at Reservation of the wrong dates...with Reservation ID number and all. She said ok...she will change the date to correct one. Then on the day of arrival...hotel informs that Reservation cannot change the wrong date of booking. Could have told me when I rang to inform about two separate bookings for 2 separate nights so I could've cancel one of the booking. They waited until we arrived at the hotel to tell us this. Then there no room available and so we had to book anther hotel. Very poor at solving a simple problem which I alerted to them a month prior to arrival.
Is not even close to 4 stars hotel.I'd give it a 3 stars. The bed sheets and blanket have several marks on it and bathtub ate yellowish and dirty that I don't dare to dip in. Breakfast are repeated and limited if you stay several nights. Staffs at the egg and noodle station are so rude. We booked with airport return transfer but when we wanted to take a ride to the airport they wanted to charge 15dollar after I keep saying that we booked two way transfer and they made a few call only they gave us free rides. Overall, it was a nice hotel with very basic facilities.
Excellent Location, Average Service”
It was a pleasant stay. The Angkor tour was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who has plans of visiting the temple. However, the service of the staff is average. Even though the breakfast buffet is from 6.30-10am, the food finishes around 9am. So the breakfast feels a bit rushed and if you want to relax you have to do that after breakfast.
The best hotel i've visited so far. The staffs are really friendly and nice. Its good that they speak english so well. That really helps. Find mr.sokkol and he will make your stay comfortable and worthwhile. the buffet breakfast is really good. the swimming pool is amazing. each room has small veranda where you can have a sip of coffee while appreciating the view of the city and swimming pool.
Wish we had stayed longer”
Lovely stay for a short layover, had been in crappy guesthouses for three weeks and decided to splurge and we didnt regret it for one minute! The pool was great, the rooms were clean, the bathrooms were grear and the massage at the spa was wonderful
Great value for money”
I have stayed in this hotel for 3D2N. Overall, it was ok. The location is ok but quite far to the city area compared to other hotels. If they have a free shuttle service to the city, that would be really great! I was a solo traveler that's why I found it costly to rent a tuktuk to go to the city. The buffet breakfast could have been better if it is not repetitive. The room is spacious and clean. The staff are polite and helpful. It's great value for money as my package already included the roundtrip airport transfer and buffet breakfast. :)
This was my first time stayed at this hotel, This time we went Angkor Wat with friends total three rooms but no hot water for shower, only warm, but not warm enough, day and night time we're same, Overall were satisfied,
Pleasant and Enjoyable.”
Our stay was very pleasant made even more special by the added perks we got from booking through Agoda. Aside from the huge discount, we also had our room upgraded from deluxe to Premium because of the length of our booking. We also had a personal shuttle from the airport and back for departure. The buffet breakfast was pretty repetitive with some minor tweaks from day to day but that's not a bad thing since you know what to expect and it was sumptuous with great variety for both Asian and Western. Rice, bread, noodles, soup, congee, ham, sausage, cereal, fruit, pastries, omelette station, the works. Our room was huge with a king sized bed, a huge tub and separate shower. The AC was strong enough to cool the room quickly and adjustable. Nice TV with lots of international stations to choose from. Our room had a balcony over lookng the pool. The pool is not that big but it is not cramped. The kiddie pool is adjacent to it so you can lounge in the pool while watching your kids nearby. They have 2 spas, a fitness center, and a bar open but I didn't use any of them so can't comment on that. There is a mini-mart, along with a satellite market right beside so you can pick up snacks, souvenirs, fresh produce, or even sample street food. We found this a benefit but you shouldn't worry too much about it if it's not your thing because it's not obvious from the hotel and we only found out about it after 2 days had passed. Should you stay there, look for Mr Sokkhol in the front desk who was very attentive to our needs. We also enjoyed the company of our tuktuk driver, Mr Sarath who was very nice and helpful. We have an autistic son who doesn't normally associate with strangers but he bonded immediately with Mr Sarath which is why we took him for all but two of our trips. Mr Sarath went above and beyond the call of duty and would assist us in watching out for him and caring for him.
is ok good if on tight budget”
changed plans to go to cambodia at last minute only had 3 days to find hotel, think i was given wrong room but went along with it sadly they decided to close the pool for maintanence which was why went there in first place advice is to double check everything promised when booking as they seem to change once there. hotel was noisey but at the price for a room was ok possibly would consider staying again but would look at other hotels to compare first
Great Services, good location”
Clean room, great pool, however my room was next to a smoking hotel guest, I told the hotel manager about the cigarettes smoke from the guest next to my room, the following night no more cigarettes smoke in my room, good job!!!
