Pros and Cons”
Pros Service and room were simply top notch! Staff spoke English fluently and went out of the way to help Cons Room service portions were miserable Food at restaurants was pricy Quite a distance to a subway station 10 minute walk uphill to nearest convenience stores
Convenient and Good Service”
Hotel is convenient, good staff service. As with most Japanese hotel, it is well maintained and very clean. Location is quite near to trains/subway and lots of restaurants around. Easy for taxis too, Room is of average size, but very good for Tokyo hotels. Good for business.
Clean and quite hotel”
My stay at the hotel was very convenient... there is a free shuttle bus that goes to the train station every 15mins. The concierge is very accommodating and helpful...Overall the rooms are clean and big that makes our stay very comfortable...
One of the best Sheratons ever”
I stayed in many many sheratons worldwide but this one had the best service so far!! And the fecilities at the Sauna and SPA are just so amazing. Really give heads up to all the staff! Breakfast was also heaven! They there are unlimited yumyum blueberries!
great Hotel in tokyo”
My stay at Sheraton waw really cool... had a comfotable rest because they have big rooms with comfotable beds... consierge are very helpful and accomodating to us regarding our restaurant reservations and gives comorehensive information regarding our do it yourself tour... there is a shuttle that runs every 15 mins to nearest teain station that makes it.comfirtable for us to go to tourist destinations..love this hotel.
It is a nice trip for me to stay in this hotel. Only 2 stations away from my office and very quiet, but trust me, if you go for shopping mall take subway or their shuttle bus. 10mins, you can go to there. this hotel offer shuttle bus to Meguro or Shinagawa, also if you gonna leave, you can take limousine bus from hotel lobby directly, just call them and make a reservation. Hotel staff is professional and polite. I really enjoy stay here, next time if I am for tourism, definitely, I would also choose this one. Strongly recommend !!
Nice clean hotel with friendly staff”
My overall experience was very good and satisfying. The hotel staff was very friendly and polite from the start of checking in process until checking out. Cleanliness was also very noticeable about this hotel. Location about 4-5 minutes walk from subway station.
a stay that gives you a smile”
I stayed 4 days in this hotel and enjoyed every single moment while staying there. It was so comfortable and the service was fantastic. The only minor problem was the location. It took me 10 - 12 mins to walk to JR Meguro station, but it was not bad actually and also the hotel provides free shuttle service.
Good location; friendly staff; clean hotel.”
Central location and complimentary shuttle to a major metro station were the highlights. The breakfast buffet and room service were consistently good. Hotel staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. Hotel was clean, though I would expect that of both a Sheraton and the city. Bar downstairs was decent, but the cigars were covered in mold.
KANAKO TSUNEKAWA - She's the most attentive hotel staff I've ever met and has been very supportive before we arrived the hotel. I've loaded her with tons of queries, and she never hesitated to revert!
Room was spacious, though bathroom was a little dated and not as clean. Location was a little out of the way from main train/subway lines, though did offer taxi services. Meals were additional costs to the room. Staff was very friendly and personally walked you from check-in to your room.
Stayed here after flying in from Chicago for a good nights rest and the only disappointment was not staying longer...benefits include a short cab ride from Shinagawa station, a beautiful lounge and Japanese garden are part of the hotel, several great restaurants, fantastic service, a decent western feel for a first timer to Japan, a variety of other facilities and full American four star accommodations. A little pricier than some but we’ll worth the bang for your buck (or yen).
On honeymoon ”
The third hotel in Tokyo as the final leg of the trip. Had a good jazz band in the lounge. Good ambience. Would stay again. Not much around hotel walking distance but there is a regular free shuttle bus to the train station
Comfortable, enjoyable stay. Concierge extremely helpful in assisting with (self) touring arrangements.”
We enjoyed our stay at the Sheriton, Miyako. Although not situated in the main tourist areas, this was no real disadvantage as the regular hotel shuffle was available to take guests to the near-by train stations. We were particularly grateful to the ladies serving the concierge desk, and most especially to Mayumi Baton. She spent considerable time and effort in helping to arrange our touring to the Alps area - booking tickets, advice on itineraries, detailed print-outs of bus stations ( so we could find them readily) - even sitting with us, with considerable patience, outside working hours. Excellent service, indeed!
Big room but lights are dim”
The room is big compared to standard Japanese rooms but the lights are dim. Also you can here noise from your room above. Regarding transportation there's only limited bus traveling to and from Haneda airport, but on the bright side they have their own bus going Meguro and Shinagawa.
noise insulation no good”
Room is spacious, however, noise insulation no good. You may hear a lot of noise from upstairs. There is frequent shuttle bus between hotel and Meguro station. However, Meguro station is not a major station, might be inconvenient to go to some popular scenic spots. Do NOT try the buffet breakfast downstairs...not worth.
Bad experience in maid performance”
My father stay at room 571. We checked in on Mon Dec 14. We went to Ota flower auction flower market and got a beautiful tall flowers from our customer so that they a gift to my mother. They are very tall such that my father put them in trash basket to protect it from failing down. But after we have dinner and went back to hotel, my father found that the flowers are gone so he asked to find out that the maid took it. It is unbelievable that she took it with the understanding that it was a trash. My father complained that at night when he tried to asked about the flower/ and how to flush the toilet to the maid, her behavior was not so polite and so hard to feel this is the way to received the service from 5-star hotel! So bad memory. The flower was intent to be given to my mom!
Convenient because of hotel shuttle bus”
Although far from the Shinagawa and Meguro Station, we appreciated the availability of the shuttle bus to nd from hotel every 15 minutes and it made our travel in Tokyo so easy. On our first night, we experienced an earthquake but since we did not sensed any commotion within the hotel, we felt quite at ease. Also, when we inquired from the reception, they said it's just normal in otel makesJapan so our anxiety subsided. Room was very clean and comfortable and welcoming after long-day trips. One downside though is that there is no free bottled water.
Despite being far from the convenience store, Sheraton Miyako Hotel makes up for it for the Free Shuttle Bus every 15 mins going to Meguro or Shinakawa Station. Airport transfer is also not a problem because they have the airport limousine. As for the food, we haven't tasted it since we didn't book w/ breakfast room. Cleanliness is top notch and the staff is accomodating. I would love to stay here again since it is very convenient.
Good service & comfortable”
I have been to stay in Miyako chain in Japan a lot. Lovely in Service , Location and resonable price. Sheraton Miyako Tokyo have a good service for Prepare Shuster Bus for all guests from Station to Hotel. Comfortable for limousine bus stop for Airport.
