Service is very poor ,we booking for 7 room but we reach there they only got 6 room. Need to wait almost 2hour .how come like that we already paid.😓
Worst hotel experience ever”
Awful. No electricity. Uncleaned room. Inground longstanding lack of cleanliness. For example, bedding surround filthy. No refund despite leaving the hotel immediately.
plain hotel which can be much more improved.”
The room is too old and dirty - no proper maintenance. It is located by teh main road, so be aware of the noise during nighttime. I dislike that there is no wi-fi internet in my own room - I need to come down at the lobby everytime I think about surfing internet. Try to get the taxi outside the hotel (You can get a good deal with teh taxi in front of the airport) for a ride to Ajanta and Ellora. The taxi service from the hotel is far more expensive. Do avoid!
Maybe good for Aurangabad”
At checkin i had to fill in ALL my data to a paper. Then they printed two more pages and i had to fill in all again on this other papers. Then they took fotocopies. They should just take the foto copies and fill in all the stuff by them self - as it's done in any other hotel. Usually i just have to fill in my name and sign. The room was very big but the floor was not very clean. No wonder when you see the black water they use to "clean" the floors. Yes i saw from time to time some cockroaches. And yes... the Swad restaurant was very nice (just cross the road then go right - not more than 100m and you are there). The hotel room has nothing in common with the fotos you see on agoda - so don't be disapointed ;-). But probably for Aurangabad the hotel is o.k.... Far away from any western hotel. The staff was extremly friendly!
Acceptable. Dark hallways. Solid surfaces which make it more noisey. People talking, kids playing and doors closing. Felt like I was in a very steril uncomfortable room on an upper floor.
It was a good stay. ”
It was a nice stay at Manor Hotel.I had booked triple bed room - they gave me double bed first -but later added one bed (that was little bit discouraging) - The staff were cooperative and friendly. The overall impression was very good.
Surprisingly nice stay ”
Executive Aircon room is definitely the way to go since these rooms have clearly been updated recently and are quiet comfortable. We had a chance to see the lower end rooms and there was a huge difference. Wifi was good and free breakfast reasonable. Had dinner at hotel one night which was exceptional - good food and great outdoor setting.
The rooms're good but poor service”
The staff did not provide a good service. By the way breakfast was good.
Pretty Decent Hotel Option”
The stay here was lovely in a really pretty big room with lots of space. The customer service was good and they can improve in couple of areas. The restaurant was pretty good and the breakfast was pretty good too. Overall a pretty good hotel for the price including the Breakfast.
Friendly hotel but facility is ...”
When I took a shower, I couldn't get any hot water. After that, i have not gotten any hot water although I complained it to staff. There is a restaurant inside hotel. It was a good staff and tasty Indian foods.
Safe hotel in a good location”
good safe hotel for sightseeing. family as well as solo travellers both indian and international stay here. complimentary breakfast was good. lunch / dinner was also good. rooms were clean but can be a bit more cleaner. hot water facility is an issue. they keep turning off hot water supply. you need to call the housekeeping and ask them to switch it on. inhouse travel desk facility is comfortable to plan sightseeing. you get safe transport. however it is a bit expensive. the travel desk at the airport offers much lower rates but not sure if you get reliable drivers from there. since i was a solo traveller safety was my first concern.
Nice Hotel - good lcoation”
Nice enough hotel for the price and close enough to take a trip out to see Ellora and Ajanta caves etc.
Nice room, but cockroaches”
We stayed recently in an "Executive" room. There were definitely pros and cons about our stay. First the pros: 1) This hotel is in a good location, and generally appears clean. Some staff are very friendly and try to be helpful, including the manager. 2) The room is pretty nice, in terms of look, amenities, etc. Up close though, it's obvious that some things are falling apart, or put together poorly. The cons: 1) We booked on Agoda and on arrival they clearly didn't have our booking. The front desk staff did not speak English well, so it was a bit difficult to straighten things out. 2) Our room had cockroaches in it. My wife hates them and it's clear that the hotel needs to do better with cleaning and pest control. For example, beside our room, there was a housekeeping room that often had the door open. We saw dirty room service dishes stacked in there on the floor for more than 12 hours at one point. We tried to switch rooms but none were available that were really any better for us. Instead we sprayed bug spray in our room and the hotel did have pest control clean/spray our room thoroughly the next day. We still saw another cockroach a night later. 3) WiFi isn't available in the room. Only the lobby, which is hot and full of mosquitos at night. 4) The breakfast was good but staff are poorly trained and hover/stare awkwardly. 5) The hotel room floor is filthy. Even after having housekeeping mop the floor, there was some sort of sticky brown lacquer that would turn our bare feet brown. We ended up wearing flip-flops in the room.
Free internet and professional service”
I stayed in hotel for 3 nights. I checked in the hotel early morning. There was no hot water in the room and very noisy from a kitchen ventilator which has been placed under my window. I complained in the reception and have been transferred in a nice comfortable room. Staff was friendly and very supportive.
Honest review The Manor”
the place was ok but lacking in character and cleanliness. when i rocked up the sheets had not been changed – i found hair in the sheets, the short and curly kind. (they did change the sheets with out complaint.) also the light switches were disgustingly dirty. the staff were pleasant and friendly but useless; aurangabad is a tourist destination but the staff new nothing about it and could not provide any helpful information. (fyi the indian government tourist office down the road is adequate but they don’t provide a guide as promised and charge “extra” once you get on their bus. double check what you’re paying for before you get on the bus. at ajunta there is a 10r charge, each way, for a bus transfer but you can pay that yourself. furthermore the bus to ajanta takes about 3 hours, if you can afford it take a taxi you’ll get there before the crowds)
Although they were courteous, there was less information from the staff about Ajanta, Ellora & other tourist destinations around Aurangabad.
everything was great”
Great service, clean room, attached tour office got me to both the Ellora and Ajanta caves and.......the buffet breakfast (included) is AMAZING!! I have been to many hotels and hostels around the world and this would make my top 10 list.
A comfortable stay with helpful staff.”
this hotel is much more of the standards reached in europe or north america that those typically found in the 'budget' option in india. the room was clean, tidy and spacious and insulated against both sound and sunlight. the restaurant-attached-was modern and had a excellent menu. staff were incredibly helpful in recommending local sights to see, arranging transport, recommending local shops,etc... the attached travel desk (not actually part of the hotel)was functional if staff were a little distant and functional.
Modest hotel, value for money”
This hotel was OK. I was a bit disappointed with the room, for example there was no separate shower so when you use the shower the whole bathroom gets wet. But I suppose it is good value for money considering the low price.
At the end I got a good room”
