      nice stay”

      location, clean, friendly staff

It was a comfortable stay. Big complaint is lack of free wifi service. Not many 3 star or 4 star hotels do not offer free wifi these days.

      A pleasant stay”

      Its location, space and cleanliness

Just stayed for a day and was comfortable. The hotel staff arranged for a guide, who non-negotiable though it was an off season period with very few tourists around. However, the next day, we found a better guide on our own. Taking a guide is highly desirable.

      nice stay”

big and clean room, quiet surroundings, nice breakfast

The hotel is not locate in the center area of Khajuraho, thus, it has a very quite surrounding and you can easily get to the temples by Autorickshaw or even bicycle(more recommended). The room is big and clean but the conditions are a bit old now, still acceptable

it was not to our expectation.”

      nothing at all

we just used it in the night. they first gave us room. the wash basin was not fixed properly. the water instead of going into the basin, was flowing on the counter and falling on the ground thereby making the whole bathroom floor wet. after our request to change the room. i found the same type of problem here also. the flush was not working properly and the toilet bowl was dirty. water was not at all flowing in the bath/shower cubicle. one has to stand in a pool of dirty water in the shower place after taking bath. this is the sort of room which they gave us. only the outside area looks great, but lot of dust in the lounge area. the room had pillow covers, towels etc all dirty and stinking. the breakfast tables were also very dirty. the linens had left over food pieces and dirt. the breakfast was okay. i am sure the hotel has clean and comfortable rooms, but i think as we had booked through agoda at a discounted rate, we were allotted this kind of room. the curtain at the end of the corridor in front of our room was so dirty and cobwebbed. i don't think anybody has bothered to notice the curtain or to clean it. overall i had a very disappointing experience in this place.

nothing was too much trouble for the staff”

staff, restaurant, location to karma sutra temple, 15 min walk

Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff, they spoke excellent English. The room was clean and tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a great powerful shower. Good wifi The breakfast was a good buffet - great restaurant with tasty food at R500 pp for the buffet in the evening - hot and delicious. The pool was sparkling clean, sunbed and lunch bought out. Just a 15 minute walk to the Karma Sutra Temples, you need only see the Western lot. Nice 'swiss' coffee shop opposite temple.

hot water at any time, facilities working proper”

speedy internet, hot shower, clean, close to sights

It was wonderful to stay at a hotel that the staff spoke English especially after a disaster staying at the Bhopal Grande Hotel. Usha Bundela Hotel was costing half the price then the Bhopal Grande. It is very close to all the sights. All of the facilities were working properly! Not like in the Bhopal Grande! At the Bhopal Grande you could not even close your door or when you closed it, you could not open it. At the Bhopal Grande you could not have a shower as the thermostat mixer was not working! Here at the Usha Bundela Hotel everything was working properly and you can have a hot shower any time. They had extra accessories like shampoo, body lotion, shower cap, hair dryer etc. In the Bhopal Grande you did not even have a soap! At the Bhopal Grande only one person of staff could speak English, and when he was not there you were lost - nobody can understand you. Breakfast etc staff was super unprofessional at Bhopal Grande. At the Usha Bundela all staff was friendly, speaking your language and being professional in what they were doing! The room, towels and bed sheets were clean! The had a swimming pool and they also had two dining rooms. While the Bhopal Grande had neither! You have to pay extra for the internet but it was the fastest connection that we ever had in India. At the Bhopal Grande they do say that they have wifi but it constantly crashing and it is super slow - so not at all workable! You do have value for your money at the Usha Bundela Hotel! While the pricing at the Bhopal Grande Hotel was an absolute scam! Khajuraho is a very nice place to see. I would say actually it is a must see in India! The temples are amazing and the waterfalls are beautiful! And then there is a national park near to it as well. Go and see it and stay at Usha Bundela Hotel!

A OK, quiet hotel about a km walk to temples”

      Beautiful pool, grounds and birdlife

The room was worn about the edges, but was budget priced. The bathroom was OK and the water was lukewarm. The bed was OK and the linens and bedding a bit worn. Breakfast was very basic and stick to the tea. It was very low priced and a value for the money. There were other hotels in the area that were much nicer and much more expensive.

Nice hotel, but needs a bit of refurbishment”

      Good location and good facilities

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in this hotel. For the price it offers very good value for money. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable, it is in a quiet and peaceful location just 15 mins walk to the town and the western group of Temples. It has a nice pool. You may find that not every thing works as it should, but it's not too bad and the staff are helpful. Would definipately recommend.

      Excellent value for money.”

Large rooms, good access to pool and restaurant, friendly staff.
Restuarant staff could be friendlier, particularly the supervisor.

Absolutely loved it, except the for breakfast supervisor who was a bit stern. I I was there for eight days and eight times I had to show my room key, even when I was in the middle of eating with knife and fork in hand. Breakfast vouchers would have been more diplomatic (or retraining of staff!). The reception and room service staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The pool was useful and accessible and although surrounds needed some maintenance, it was well maintained and clean.

      The Usha Bundela in Khajuraho”

Large Rooms. Can easily place an extra bed. Friendly and courteous staff.
The bathrooms need to be renovated. They are over 20 years old. Nothing much to speak of the B/F that was included in the tariff. Some of the electricity sockets do not work. Very dim lighting in the rooms. Largely depend on low wattage CFL's. View from the rooms overlooking the unkept gardens, not much to speak of.

The large rooms gave plenty of space to the children. Dated bathroom facilities, not upto the mark for a 4* hotel. A bit away form the main attractions and town centre. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to make you comfortable.

      TRANQUILITAT EN EL USHA BUNDELA”

Proximitat als temples i al aeroprot, habitacions amplies i personal atent.
