Gorgeous Hotel ”
My husband and I spent the last few days of our honeymoon in this beautiful hotel. We booked the superior king room and it was phenomenal. They even decorated for our honeymoon! The bathroom is split into two parts, the toilet near the entrance of the room and the gorgeous bathtub/sink area near the window. We loved this because when you closed the door to the bathtub area it provided an extra barreled between the bed and the street noise making for the best nights sleep of our trip! Not to mention to bed was ridiculously comfortable. The mini bar was fully stocked and reasonably priced. The pool area was fantastic with a beautiful view of Bangkok. The rooftop bar had a lovely view but was slightly overpriced. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. We really enjoyed the complimentary snacks every afternoon from 2-5pm. The staff was so nice and recommended us an amazing restaurant nearby (Baan Archarn$ which we went to twice! All in all, we HIGHLY recommend Akara Hotel.

Amazing experience and superb excellence customer service”
I choose bangkok for my birthday trip destination just to have an experience the life style, the vibe and shopping since this is my first time to bangkok. I went there with my best friend. I reached Akara hotel very early around 12 in the afternoon and is too early for check in. However the staffs are very friendly and polite, he ask us to have a seat and he took our passport to assist on the check in process. Another staff serve us the welcome drink. The process went smoothly and im not waited for so long at the lobby. A gentleman (staff) bring us to our room and i was shocked and touched with the birthday decoration. Special thanks to my bestie and the hotel team to surprise me with the memorable experience... before he left the room,he’s invited us to have a complimentary high tea at level 2 and did mention “treat this please like your 2nd home” Few minutes later, another staff (Moni)knock the door to inform us that the food is ready, we can come down for the high tea and wishing us for a pleasant stay. We went down about an hour later, while choosing the food, A staff by the name “Moni” he was so friendly and very polite, checking with the team to ensure that i wont take the food that contain pork since im wearing hijab. They are very helpful. Overall, The ambience, the smell of the hotel, the hotel interior, the staffs, the room that i stay, the excellent service make me feel like im stay in 7 stars hotel. Wonderful experience in this hotel”
First time staying in this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay to the max. Firstly, we were told to have a seat in the lobby and the friendly staff came to us for the check in process. Then we were guided to our upgraded Suite Room with a short room introduction. The bed is very comfortable, one of the best I've had in hotels. The suite is very nice with high tech switch and smart TV. The location is great with free TukTuk service to nearest BTS. Excellent services from all the staff here especially Chomp! He is super friendly and always with big smiles. The complimentary high tea was great with nice ambience. Akara Hotel really gave us a good reason to visit Bangkok again.

Great hotel but very weird design solutions”
First off, the hotel is at a great location, right next to an airport raillink station. Rooftop pool is nice, and there's a jacuzzi in the room. Byt I've never seen such bad architectual planning, eventhough it did not affect the overall positive experience. But to mention a few: The toilet was to the right if the entrance and a very small room without a lock on the door. The switch for the toilet light had a very irrational placement outside the room and you had to spend some time finding it. Even stranger is, that there's no handwash by the toilet. Instead, after doing your needs, you have to walk across the room and into the room with the jacuzzi. The TV has a wireless keyboard as a remote, which was not obvious. You also cannot turn on the TV with the keyboard, so you must walk to the TV and turn ut on manually, which makes the idea of a remote less meningful. Because it is a keyboard, it is also hard to understand how to switch channels, the volume etc. There is no towel drop for used towels by the pool, and the stairs up to the Barracuda bar is at one point really narrow which apoears to be a construction flaw. But all in all a nice hotel!

I can't say enough about how wonderful this hotel is. They strive to make your stay enjoyable. Would never think of staying anywhere else! Five nights of comfort and pleasure from the professional staff. Nicely appointed rooms, two good restaurants, great breakfast buffet with egg and noodle stations, relaxing rooftop bar overlooking the city and a culinary library with complimentary drinks & snacks each afternoon. I found the location to be great with a two block walk to the airport rail link and one stop to the BTS sky train.

The Akara Hotel is a unique experience. Everyone on staff was courteous, kind, and helpful. The morning breakfast was delicious. The made to order pad se ew was well prepared. We loved the mix of Asian and American foods. It was nice that some menu items changed each day. The afternoon tea was a nice break after a morning exploring Bangkok. The drinks were cold and you can choose between alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The spread was a mix of sweet and savory. We were given an upgrade which was a treat! The king bed was comfy and the bath room will appointed. The robes and slippers were nice touches as well! I would highly recommend the Akara Hotel. You will fall in love with the staff and city!!! I will definitely stay here again!

Fancy digs for a one night stayover before early flight”
We really enjoyed the junior suite. Really nice hotel, lots of nice features in the hotel room, and gorgeous design. Only complaint was that the pool bar didn't have all the wines on their list. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is a quick walk from the airport train. There's restaurant options nearby, but we used Grab to check out other parts of the city. Bed was very comfortable.. We didn't eat at on the onsite hotel.

The Akara Hotel is a beautiful property in center Bangkok. it is accessible to public transport and airport train while close to shopping and other attractions. The facilities are lovely, with a variety of bars and restaurants, a small pool overlooking the skyline. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. But best of all, it has amazing, helpful staff who ensure your stay is perfect. The complimentary afternoon tea is a nice touch. Highly recommend.

This my first time stay in Akara hotel but never regret. Their service is wonderful, staff are very friendly especially Mr. Moni, will help and assist us for our need. Every day 2 to 5pm can relax at the hotel for complementary high tea after your tired outdoor activities. Enjoy your poolside scenery after your busy day. Room is clean and location is very convenient. Direct train from and to Airport can avoid traffic jam, we enjoy our stay, will book again in our next trip.

My husband and I traveled around Asia for 3 weeks and we were SOOO IMPRESSED by this hotel in particular!!!! Like wow they blew us away, from the moment we stepped out of the taxi we felt taken care of. The staff was amazing. The hotel manager personally came to greet us and talk to us. Then from 2 pm- 5 pm they have free tea time and snacks. This was a crazyyyy spread! Soooo impressed. You had sandwiches, pastries satay chicken with peanut sauce! And all for free! Also I definitely recommend taking the brunch option. Very impressive buffet. The staff and managers were amazing the hotel is located in a good area close to the bts train. Honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly!!! Stay here!!!!! you won’t be disappointed.

Nice cozy hotel!”
We booked the room with the large tub, and city view. Informed the hotel that it was a birthday celebration, and on our second night a staff knocked on our door and presented the birthday boy with a cake. Such a pleasant surprise! The gym was well equipped, and only complain was probably the rather small pool. Staff service was excellent. On the day of checkout we were going to walk to the nearest subway station to take a train to the airport but the staff offered to fetch us in tuktuk (2 mins drive) and told us it’s free. When we wanted to tip him he insisted that it’s not required (of cuz we tipped him for the excellent service!) Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Fantastic hotel with great location for exploring Bangkok - 2 minutes from the train station from the airport. Very close to all the attractions. The modern and traditional Tahi style creates a perfect atmosphere. Very friendly and professional staff will always be happy to advise you or arrange whatever you need. Upon arrival or departure, guests will appreciate the very varied Snack served free of charge from 14.00 to 17.00. The breakfast buffet is absolutely perfect, fresh with a very varied selection. Location is Superb. Very close to the shopping hub of Bangkok. You can shop till you drop. Amenities at the hotel are great. Though the Superior King Room has no view but that hardly affected us as we all were over whelmed with hospitality extended by Akara Team. Food was great. The Mid day Snack Bar was also amazing. Moni the Manager here has inculcated the quality of customer first amongst the entire staff. Right from the door staff to the service team in the Restaurant and Reception were ever smiling and happy to help. Really Happy and will definitely be back soon...

Staff were all friendly and helpful as we were loaded with luggage and stroller and a baby! Felt very good & warm hospitality from all of the staff. Very convenient as it located very near to airport railway station, approx 5 minutes by foot. There is 7-11 about 3 minutes away. Complimentary hi tea on daily basis which adds point to that. Even though it is located near to train track and airport railway, noise disruption is minimal for us. Swimming pool fantastic city view. Hotel interior was top notch, I love it! Loving the marble bathroom with bath tub. Excellent design! Will return next round and thank you for the free room upgrade!

Exceptional”
Recommended hotel for people who can't speak Thai. Their receptionist are English speaking! I visited Akara twice in the same week. Was hotel hopping.. First time was in Deluxe King Room. It was good though the WiFi is a bit weak. Not sure why but it didin't bother too much. Second time was Junior Suite King Room, it was better experience than the first one though.. Deluxe King Room will be a better IG photo material if you know what I mean.. hahaha. The swimming pool is good too! Nice view! Good job Akara Hotel! Kudos to staff there! I will go there again if I were to travel BKK! Good local too, not too far away from many places I go.

Great Hotel with Excellent Location”
Great hotel with great service. Front desk can speak English well and one of them I know can talk a bit of Bahasa. There are complimentary 2pm afternoon tea at lobby. They served cakes, bites, and tea here. Hotel is fairly clean. Can be improved since there are dusts below the furniture legs. Housekeeping only speak Thai but they are helpful. They always stock up our bottled water on our stays. And they are foc. They gave few fruits on your room. Come with bath tub and bath bombs as well. Toilet and bath room are separated. Swimming pool is located at 17th floor. The water is not cold even for swimming at night. About 5-minutes walking distance to Rachaparop MRT which directly link to airport. It took 30 minutes to reach airport by taking MRT and cost only 40 baht. There are few food stalls around and 7-11 within 5-minutes walk. 15-minutes walk to Platinum mall, taking taxi is more preferred still though.

Whole experience at this hotel was amazing. Everything was beautifully presented. Staffs were very professional and made every moment of our stay a special moment. From the moment we walked in to the day we left was great. Receptionist Moni and the concierge personnel was amazing. They helped us are getting our taxi from the hotel to the airport. Staff at reception desk was very knowledgeable off the surroundings and suggested us about the restaurants. Our overall experience staying at this hotel was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend others to stay here.

Small Little Cozy Place”
The hotel is located right next to Indra Square, 1.5 Kms from Sam Paragon and Central World Malls. This puts the location of the hotel at a perfect place. Not too crowded but not too far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel is well equipped and well maintained. The rooms were a little small for my liking but not uncomfortably small. Whole of the room is smartly controlled by a tablet. Buffet Breakfast was well stocked and menu changed every morning, In Room Dinning was prompt and food served was hot and delicious. We also tried Ross Restaurant and found the food was delicious and our server was well informed to guide us through the menu. Staff is very polite and helpful. This was highlight of our stay. The only thing I could pick was Internet for Guest was patchy to connect to and speeds were not upto the mark. Rooftop pool although well maintained and beautifully lit at night was little small. As per my calculations it would not be more that 30 Feet

I stayed here for one night before my flight back to the US, and I wish I had so much more time! Staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and accommodate requests. Everything is spotless and gorgeous. From the herringbone wood floors in the bedroom to the charming little key card they give you at check in, their attention to detail is impeccable. There were even kittens at the rooftop bar! How kittens got up there I do not know, but this hotel is its own fairy tale. Stay here!
