Quiet oasis ”
Loved my stay here. Unfortunately not much hot water in the shower but otherwise good stay if you don’t mind gecko droppings. Stunning pool. Excellent food. Staff are kind and helpful. Huge room. I’d stay here again.
Such a nice week !”
We have booked at first for 3 nights but finally extended our stay for a whole week. Why? Cause we felt very comfortable in this traditional and family hotel. Wonderful place in the middle of rice terraces, The breakfast also was very good with several choices. The crew was friendly and easy going ! The son of the owner, Gede, was very very helpful as well. Thanks again for everything Gede ! :) Anyway, I recommend a lot this hotel, specially if you want to be in a relax place out of the noise of Denpasar.
Really Lovely Place but with Geckos Pooping in the Room”
I'm in two minds about this place. It's definitely one of the most beautiful resorts I've stayed in. Rooms were massive, location was fantastic in the middle of a jungle with your own view of rice terraces and hills. The infinity pool overlooking the rice terraces was also really lovely. Staff was amazing and food from their restaurant was so good and fairly priced (about 40k IDR per meal). The one thing that bothered me was the geckos living in the roof of the rooms. They kept pooping all night and the poop just drops from the roof. It made us feel so uncomfortabe knowing that poop might fall on us any time. Our things also had to be covered because they might end up with poop on them. I understand the resort's idea of having open bits on the wall for ventilation, because it really kept the room cool with no need for an AC. However, all these gaps lead all sorts of tiny animals and insects in the room, so you end up with geckos living in the roofs with you. I think the property can sort this out by putting a screen where the gaps are so air still goes in but animals won't.
Beautiful hotel with infinity pool overlooking mountains and rice terraces. Huge room, nice indoor/outdoor bathroom with good shower. Come here if you want to relax- it is a very quiet village and so nice to just explore around the area and relax at the hotel. They do cheap massages, organise scooter etc. Loads of really nice Warungs to choose from in the village.
Beautiful spot! ”
Great value for money. Beautiful view from the room and pool. Would recommend the guided walk!
Peaceful retreat ”
Wonderful staff, most able to communicate well in English. Lovely west-facing quiet location approx. 3km from Sidemen village. Fresh air, views of wooded hills and terraced rice paddies. Very nice bungalows with red tiled roofs, airy rooms with outdoor bathrooms, huge very comfy beds draped with mosquito netting, huge French doors opening onto spacious terraced. Openings high up in the walls as well as a second window provide good ventilation but also admit a few little insects. Fan but no air con available if necessary. A sloping prettily landscaped garden with a sparkling well maintained infinity pool. A choice of simple but hearty and delicious breakfasts and a varied dinner menu. A new resort is due to open in June lower down the hillside. Its roofs are visible but do not block the lovely view up the hillside but the access road is immediately next to the hotel. During my stay, the noise from construction work and traffic was minimal.
Great view, very nice staff and spacious rooms ”
Nice and pretty private bungalows in Sidemen. Stad spoke English well and arrange us a trekking guide and scooter very fast. Surprisingly it rained for a few whole nights, but that had nothing to do with the hotel of course. Enough nice warungs close to the hotel, so we could try new ones every dinner. Had a nice time there!
Perfect days in Sidement”
Staff was really nice, the view was amazing Our time in Arta Nadi Villa was peacefull and perfect !
Cute, beautiful view”
Absolutely amazing view. Infinity pool overlooking that mountains was gorgeous. The rooms were not the cleanliest. The bathroom was partially covered and a lot of ants. The hot water tank was not very big it only lasted for one 3minute shower. Under the bed looked like it was never cleaned, the mosquito net around the bed was stained with what looked like blood. The food at the restaurant was not good. If you're looking for peaceful and love the outdoors this is a great choice, I would suggest eating elsewhere.
+ loved the terrace outside my room and the four poster is very pretty. So many nice little touches like the candles and the staff are really nice & helpful. - the paint on the wall in my room was peeling off and there was a big of a musty smell.
Prijs te hoog”
nice hotel but the price is overrated. Bungelows were good, but has an open roof. Also the prices of all other services were a bit overrated like scooter renting. The view from the swimmingpool is very nice.
No TV, very little to do unless you are a landscape artist. Kitchen was being renovated so had to find. Upgraded to the only villa with TV & had to pay an extra Rp. 500,000
Beautiful guesthouse ”
This guesthouse has large, bright, spacious rooms. It has a gorgeous pool with an amazing view over the rice terraces. The food in the restaurant is very nice. The staff are helpful and friendly and organise tours of the local area if you want.
Awesome pool !”
Good experience for one night, the swimming pool is very beautiful (but a little green), the room is big, the no ceiling bathroom was fun to use and the breakfast good. I recommend
Lovely location, peaceful rural Bali feel”
If you want to relax and enjoy some time out from the hustle of most of Bali then Sidamen is the place for you to visit. Arta Nadi wil help you do that. Staff very helpful, breakfast and restaurant is somewhat basic but plenty of other options to eat within walking distance. Be aware that you will have no air conditioning so evenings can be a little bit warm. Pool is a great spot to relax. Hope you enjoy!
Very nice place, Best breakfast ever, very nice people”
Best breakfast, go there and chillout, very quiet and the Best pool (you see directly to the rice fields when you are in the pool. Enjoy
One of the best places in Bali”
