Would have been a perfect getaway if only no the flies”
Very friendly and helpful staff. Chinese restaurant serves great food, very yummy. Food from Sepoi Sepoi just as good. Since it's a beach hut, there were little grain of sand inside room, nothing serious. Considering this is suppose to be a 5* hotel, cleanliness can be better. Hairdryer is dirty with marks on it. Shade inside bathroom has black spots and water marks on shower glass. Bila Bila is swarmed with flies. Breakfast at Bila Bila, the rendang is perfect, the rest are so-so

Exceptional”
We were dissatisfied with the first family villa due to air-conditioning system malfunction but the staff were very accommodating and moved us to another family villa. We had an enjoyable stay during the weekend.

Excellent Restaurants, Delightful Rooms, Tranquil View”
This is a great place for a rest if you enjoy the calming sight of the sea, shallow waters and rosy sunsets. Very spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent satellite TV for Sports lovers, and a great range of very good restaurants to choose from. Very friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool area is very limited, however.

Great Stay”
A lot of activities can be done here with many facilities and the swimming pool area is good. Staffs are friendly. Room in good size and comfortable. This is our 3rd times in Avani and we enjoy our stay and will choose to stay here again in our future holidays. Overall it is above our expectation.

Nice hotel close to International airport with super friendly staff”
We stayed 1 night in the Avani Sepang, before taking the flight home. The hotel offers very spacious rooms with nice sea view and a very nice infinity pool. The staff is extremely friendly... Specially Kisshok and Hasdi were super helpful taking care of our son that got small injuries during a snorkling trip in Redang island.

Bad experience ”
It’s very bad experience for us, the rooms was not clean , service are poor enough, aircon was broke&smell gas & whole rooms got ants around,we ask for refund , duty manager was quarrel with us even change room also no change for us immediately & let us wait till midnight

The Best Affordable Resort to Rest & Relax”
A nice quiet resort rooms surrounded by the sea. All staffs I met was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the Bila Bila restaurant was good with wild spread of selections. We had our dinner at Hai Sang Lou, having the Chef Andrew who did a excellent meal for us with the restaurant Manager Mr. Wong and staff Anngy that makes my girlfriend's Birthday there a wonderful one.

Disappointing”
This was my 2nd visit. Nothing to shout about. Room facilities not up to par. Some lights were not even functioning, but I was in no mood to ask for a change in room as I was staying for a night only. Stayed with wife and 2 kids, but the pool guy did not want to give more than 2 towels when we used the pool, as he said those staying in the superior room are only entitled for 2 towels.. In that case, the hotel shouldn't claim "KIDS STAY FOR FREE"

The scenery is beautiful but location too far . Not convenient if you do not have transport especially when the food is not good.

Not going to visit again ”
Definitely will not visit again. Bringing my one year old baby and unable to get to call a baggage service while checkout. Furthermore, we asked guest service for another 2 bottle of water but I took about half an hour to send. Poor service! Don’t consider if you are bringing a young children.

Not bad but there are ants”
Generally is just ok. the air con is not that cooling but it’s ok with the use of fan together. Breakfast not very fantastic. Bungy service was fun but seems to be insufficient during the check in and check out peak period. Nothing much to do but just relax ! There are ants on the table.. and at the balcony. Probably should do more cleaning of the balcony and room.

I must thank Encik Hisham and crew from the F&B when I took an unfortunate turn during my buffet dinner. I was queuing for my food when I suddenly blacked out. I was lucky to be surrounded by such attentive staff. The buggy was there waiting to drive me to the nearest clinic and had a complimentary special made beverage delivered to my room to lower down my blood pressure from Encik Hisham. I was welcomed with so much hospitality during my visit. Excellent service and will definitely recommend friends and relative to visit the place!

The scenery of hotel is very beautiful and the hotel is very clean. The hotel need to improve on the transfer services, we have to wait for at least 30min every time for the transfer car to pick us up from hotel room to lobby.

Overall the resort is very beautiful and best. The staff very nice and friendly. The breakfast is delicious and very enjoy...beautiful sea view room. Only our room tv and telephone service can not be used. Forced to the reception side to lodge a complaint but until we checkout still not repaired. Please resort takes note of the guest's problems. Overall is an enjoying experience with my friends .However, the staff still need to improve their accuracy and professional.I had the experience during check in while another staff told us the room is ready to check in at 2pm. We went to counter at 2pm to check in with another staff he told me that need to check whether the room is ready. We wait about 30min later the staff just told us the room is ready.It’s really not a good experience.

We loved the location and the staff. The rooms were a bit run down. We had a problem with the plumbing. However, generally they have done a decent job maintaining the facilities. What we loved about the place was that that there are a number of activities for guests of all ages to be kept engaged for at least 3 days. The breakfast okay but we loved the dinner at the Hai sung.

The buffet spread was delicious, staff were super friendly and helpfull. Room (family villa) is beautiful and clean. However, swimming pool is abit dirty, and buggy service during check out was slow, has to wait around 45 minutes. Other than that, superb.

The hotel is not properly managed well, eg shower in the room is not hot, and you can see some wear and tear damages. Overall still good to go if got promotion. Food charges in stimboat restaurant is ridiculous where you have to pay rm20 for a headcount surcharge!

Staff was very helpful, location is good, food was nice and facilities was good but there are room for improvement, example the family villa that i stayed was leaking at few area when heavy rain, kettle was not working and takes very long time to get replacement as Housekeping replied they are running out of kettle stock. Parking needs to be added (includes valet as well).

Hi we’ve stayed at the family villa for 2 nights.. overall our trip there was good and relaxing.. lucky for us it’s a high tide. So the scenery and the view is superb.. staff was great.. as for the buggy service it’s a bit slow maybe cus its school holiday period.. but for us it’s a no problem cus the bicycles is everywhere..easy to get and free.. breakfast was quite okey.. 2 days 2 different menu so thumbs up for that overall it’s good

great staycation”
It was a very nice to stay. The major love for this hotel is the spacious room. The bathtub is on the floor, which is very safe for children to bath in. But unfortunately the pool was very dirty & the water is green color. we decide to play in the pool anymore. The dinner food at Perahu Restaurant was bad. not worth for money at all. But breakfast spread is sooo much better. We all enjoyed the breakfast more. Room service also very good. the food still warm when it arrived.

Been here for birthday trip. Satisfied with the hospitality from shuttel van/ buggy/receptonist/foods. The bed and pillow are exceptionally comfortable. Good wifi. Just a heads up, if you are thinking to take a dip in the pool, please wear a proper swimming attire as they are very strict of the rules there.

Lovely staff, but disappointing in terms of hygiene”
We were a family with young children travelling with a larger family group. We spent 6 nights at Avani during July. Room - Family villa, comfy bedding and pillows, but stained sheets and awful (urine like) smell in room, curtains mouldy and stained couch. The bathroom wasn't clean and the room/bathroom really needs refurbishment. The outside furniture was not usable as had not been cleaned, there was bird droppings over the chairs. During heavy thunderstorms, roof leaked and was dripping on floor. A/C not functioning well Meals - ate at Sepoi Sepoi (average ), Hai Sang Lou (top service, friendly staff, tasty food), Bila Bila (breakfast & dinner buffet) and Pantry (great friendly service, yummy snacks). At Bila Bila, staff were friendly. We enjoyed the Malaysian cuisine for breakfast but no day to day change. Very disapp. with cleanliness here, plates VERY dirty, lots of flies. Pool- ok pool, but runs out of pool towels. Needs refurb and attention to hygiene throughout urgently.

Very had experience for my honeymoon”
Pros isnt much for this resort, probably only the view is good. Alot of Cons, secluded which means very2 far away from everything. Grab doesnt work in that region, even if u got, chances are that drivers are gonna reject. Food for breakfast taste VERY BAD, as an Asian, i find foods such as Nasi goreng, Kway teow goreng and Fish curry could not go wrong, but my experience was bad as all 3 of these were served for breakfast and none of it taste nice. No good channels to lay back and watch, if u want movies, u have to pay RM10 per movie plus a foreigner tax for using those services. Its super difficult to get taxi or other taxi services like grab, so u can only rely on the resort services which charges RM150 to send to airport. They do provide shuttle to KL, but only at 9am, so its best u skip ur breakfast eventhou u paid for it. 1 return pick up from KL back to resort at 4pm, if u missed it, good luck trying to get someone to send u back to the resort. Its gonna be 1 expensive ride.

1.Cleanliness: we saw blood stain on our bed sheets. We didn’t get any responses after reporting this on the survey. Dust on tables were thick, it was clear that no one cleaned the room prior to our arrival. There were also black stains on windows. Overall, very dirty for a self-claimed 5 star hotel. 2.Unlimited water and land sports: DO NOT BUY. The four of us paid for four days, with a value of MYR 800. Yet, we were only allow to use the packages 1/4 days due to “weather”. The hotel FAILED to compensate for the lost of MYR 600. 3.Staff: slow and inefficient. One day, we called the reception three times before they came to clean the room. It was 5pm when they finally arrived. 4.Room: old and worn out 5.food quality: ok variety but poor quality. For example, bacon isn’t real pork slice but preserved meat. Overall, dont know how and why it is a 5 star resort. We were tricked by the marketing photos.

A nightmare stay”
We checked in and assigned a villa non-functioning shower. We had to pack up and moved to another room at less than ideal location. The villa was dark and linens were old. This was supposed to be a five stars resort. Staffs and services are at most 3 stars in my opinions. As member of AccorHotels, this was a worst facility I ever stayed at.

Is a different lodging experience. Nice and serene stay. However, better cleanliness can be achieved. Room was pretty dusty and floor sticky upon entrance. Requested housekeeper to clean up. Other than this, all was ok.

Loved all the cycling and fresh air”
Its an excellent place to relax with family. The best part of Avani was their staff.. very friendly, very accommodating. The buggy service is excellent, my kids enjoyed all the cycling.. you could just pick up a cycle and leave it any where and pick up another. My elderly mother was on a wheel chair and we got a lot of help from the staff, the bell boys and especially the buggy service. The not so great part was when it rained.. and we had to wait for half an hour to get a buggy to reach our room. The front office patio is very small and if it is pouring you are sure to get wet . All the umbrellas and disposable rain coats were not helpful..just unnecessary use of plastics! The choice for eating is very limited, especially if one is a vegetarian and you don't have a car, you are badly stuck! The beach is not very clean especially when it is low tide in the morning,can be a sore spot. The place shuts by 10 pm, even the beach bar! so literally we had no where to hang out!

Resort is a disappointment, standard has dropped”
My have stayed here twice previously and had good experience. But, it was great disappointment for us this time. The resort introduced a very protective policy of no external food . We were a family of 8, booked the biggest and most expensive 3-room house. We bought a few cup noodles and snacks in 3 plastic bags, but were barred from bringing in. We never had this restriction in the past. We did not know this condition during booking but the manager claimed it was stated in its T&Cs. Moreover, there was no sign at the hotel that said so. If resort is worried that we would not patronize its restaurants, they are wrong, we had intended and actually spent in their over-priced restaurants. Other complaints: bedbugs; no cutlery/plate in big pantry, overpriced daily parking fee within resort compound, overpriced and poor quality hotel food. The only saving grace are the very friendly service staff and buggy drivers. In any case, my family has decided to skip this resort forever.

It is a great stay experience at Avani. Breakfast is fantastic. Only thing is the cleanliness need to be pay more attention, e.g. birds drops!!! The staff must provide more information to the first comer guests like us. We had knew nothing when we stay at the resort. Please kindly be more informatic.

Best place for a get away”
One can go many times just for the environment and fresh air around the resort area. We really loved our vacation to Avani as it was such a relaxing day for all of us. Service there was quite good. Luckily we didnt wait for so long to get into our rooms. The buggy van also so frequent for us to move from one place to another. More bicycles were available too. The resort area was very clean and the staffs were very friendly. Morning breakfast was very satisfying as loads of varieties were prepared. Overall Avani is one of the best place for chilling and we want to come again in future.

Worth for Money”
Overall was great, friendly customer survices . Location, not so convenient to go out, and not much activity near by. Night Show(fire show) was terrible and accessories in the kids play room abit old and dirty

Great place for family/groups/couples vacation. The staff are very motivational and friendly. There are 3 restaurants available with varieties of food selections. However, the cups/mugs and plates in the Bila-Bila Restaurant 'not that clean' (stains and mild "eggy smell" noticable). In addition, foods at the 3 restaurants are a bit pricey. Overall, we had a great time at the resort.

overall is disappointing as service is not up to 5 star standard. the furniture in the room is old with a certain smell and cleanliness is not at tip top as still can see corner with dust, bathroom with hairs leftover & etc... the water pressure in bathroom also low at times... the buggy service is limited especially during evening and night time...is hard for family with young kids and senior citizens to walk...the food is just ok and not much to expect... one good thing is the staff which is friendly and helpful but i think that is shorthanded when come to peak hours...

Upgrade the food for breakfast and I discovered the stain on most of every each of the unused plates”
A little comment on the buggy service. I tried to stop the buggy which is empty in front of our hotel room, cos I have young kids and 80 yrs old mother with me but the driver said will come back to pick us. Ended up all the buggy were fulled with passengers passing by us. We gave up and walk to the lobby. The driver should give the priority to the kids and senior citizens.

I was pleased with the services rendered to us at Avani. It was one of the best Chalets we have ever stayed. I also was looking into Booking a wedding event for my son in future and wanted to see a Event Manager on my last day there at Avani's but he was not there at the Avani Resort at that hour. Althought not so satisfied with the parking park at outside hotel. But the shuttle van had eliminate the unsatisfied, the service quite good. Carry our language to the room door. The sunset quite good. My and my wife had very good time in Avani.
