beach chairs on the grass was so nice and this is why I chose this resort. the resort has its own balinese mood and feeling i adored. :) and has nice room price range! but the food served by the pool bar and room service was not that good (even regretted ordering the food...) compared to other resorts i have visited.
A huge hotel”
I enjoyed our time at Ayodya Resort. They gave me a complimentary birthday mini cake which came as a surprise for me. The hotel is so big, a bit tired in term of furniture and interior, a very traditional interior which clearly reminds you that you are in Bali a moment you stepped into the hotel. However, since it is so huge, then we have to walk a bit far either from lobby to the room or from room to the beach. My room was located in the middle so I had to walk around 10 mins from lobby and if I went to the beach then I had to walk around 10 -15 mins too. I came with my mom who is old enough to walk far so it was a bit inconvenient for her. The other cons is the breakfast, for Indonesian like us, the food did not taste good at all, those were plain so we skipped 2 breakfasts during 4 nights stay in Ayodya. In term of the location, I always love and stay in Nusa Dua area, so no complain at all.
We were allocated a room where toilet didnt flush. Tv couldnt have reception. We were moved when we requested Drinks expensive at pool. 12 for 2 bintangs. Dinner at hotel 2 sates 2 drinks 1 springroll way too expensive at 85 au Not value for us
If you're looking for a place...a resort that combines ethnic, tradition and beach...you should stay at Ayodya resort in Nusa Dua, Bali...very beautiful... Good breakfast, espc the scrambled egg...can't get enough (imo) Had a great time...
Worst hotel I've stayed at in years”
Really really disappointing. Check in took an hour - they had re-sold one of our connecting room for late check out so we couldn't check in until 6:30pm. Had to pay a hefty upgrade to get adjoining room. This should be a standard feature for a hotel catering for families. The breakfast was very expensive, the quality of the food really poor and there was not a lot of choice. For example, in a five star hotel in Southeast Asia, I would not have expected getting prepacked tea bags (rather than local, loose tea). Some staff are very friendly and helpful but many seem to be unmotivated and not terribly friendly. Generally a very poorly managed hotel and very dated, poorly kept/cleaned rooms. The beach is nice but wish we had stayed elsewhere. Not worth the money at all.
Cheapest rate on Nusa Dua Front Beach Hotel”
We chose this hotel because it was the cheapest hotel that located in front of mengiat beach in Nusa Dua. We chose deluxe room that is located very front in the hotel, so we have to walk very far away to reach the beach (I think they should provide a shuttle). Interior of the hotel looks a bit old and somehow smells old. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was so-so, my husband really disappointed with the lack of choice of the dishes. Fried rice is very plain and the porridge / congee is very watery, you just can't eat it. This hotel is huge and clean. Beach is clean and not crowded.
Very pleasant to stay.”
1. All the staff are very friendly. 2. Room is big and clean. 3. Main swimming pool is a bit old design. 4. But the bar pool is very nice and cozy. 5. Food is good. 6. Most of all, my wife and our three kids are really happy to stay there.
The hotel is so old, makes you think that you have traveled back in time”
During our stay, even though it was on the holiday season, the hotel was very quiet and so full of old people. The atmosphere at the hotel felt very sad and gloomy and dark. Don't get me wrong. If you are someone who loves old stuffs, temples, history, ancient design, etc, then this hotel is for you. If no, then you better find another property.
Everything is great except the old room”
If you are like me, who like to be outside then boy this hotel is perfect right front of the amazing white beach of nusa dua! and the hotel is 11 hectare wide! from the outside, this hotel wins it the arrival entrance make you feel like you are a royalty but... the rooms tho, i feel like i live in late 80's The electricity plug detached with its cables when i pulled my plug my bed light switch didn't work, i had to unscrew the bulb so i can sleep and... the room WiFi was so weak, at most times i couldn't use it The staff was very kind tho as all balinese and the breakfast was grand they had like a hugeeee variety of breakfast items only complain again is the room only the rest was perfect but room is important tho.. so i let u decide
Ayodya probably is one of the few hotels that provides a luxurious yet authentic Balinese feel for both locals and foreigners through and through. We all loved the rooms, facilities, breakfast, and private beach area. Would definitely come back again!
Bali Trip with Family”
Pros: Private Beach Bali Theater Swimming pool Restaurants Cons: ( My personal experience) Since I was traveling with young kids and reached hotel at 12:00 , however checking time was 02:00 PM, I requested hotel staff that I am traveling with kids without breakfast and lunch could you please adjust me as early check-in, response was not so good but they said they will manage in next 1 hours, at 1:00 PM I enequire again and they said next 10 min, after that they said next 15 min..I was really annoyed..I was expecting some sort of favour because kids were hungry and slept in lobby. With so much effort finally we able to check-in post 14:00 hrs only. So personally I was not getting any support from hotel management even they knew that kids are really tired.
massive resort ”
this is a very big resort with 2 big pools with it own private beach it clean and has great friendly staff the only things i didn’t like was the super high price of food in their restaurants what a rip-off it’s like double anywhere else and i guess that’s why they were always empty lol but the resort is a 5min walk to really good restaurants cocomart (7-11) ,massage shops etc and the beach the sand is nice and clean but the water was full of plastic bags, rubbish and weeds floating around you but other then that it is a great place with a awesome breakfast and would return
Ayodya Resort review”
Very beautiful resort, and staff are great. Downside was the private beach, but could not use as there was plastic floating in the beach which was drawn to the shore.
I love this resort. The staff is very helpful and good spirited. Everyone has a smile on their faces and they made us feel welcome. I definitely recommend this place for your next visit.
Great resort to stay!”
Pros: it's a massive resort and there are so many things to do. it's close to the beach and has facilities to spend time on the beach. the buffet breakfast is excellent with so many items. Cons: the resort is kind of old and not very polished like other hotels. the interior is not modern looking which may not be your cup of tea. the wifi connection is very bad, even in the room the signal is so weak.
We were given a free upgrade to the Palace rooms which were beautiful. The hotel is set upon impressive and sprawling beachfront property. We had a very enjoyable stay here. Best place for relaxation - away from the busy areas of Bali which were a bit too much for our liking.
Little bit Dated”
I stayed in this hotel for about 4-5 nights. So it looks great- yes. It's a HUGE property with good security and views.. feels like you're in someones palace. Location and all is good - you have your private beach right there ! Rooms are cute - but for a young traveler kind of dated.. like 70's dated.. for about 100€per night it's kind of good value for the money - it's a good deal. One thing I recommend is that you should try restaurants outside of the hotel - they try to make western food with local twist and it wasn't my cup of tea. Too many flavors for western dishes - like confusing much. Most of the staff in the hotel is also quite old - which usually means they're not as happy or friendly customer service oriented - they all looked grumpy and very serious all the time - it was so weird. Other than that quite nice experience.
Amazing Hotel Grounds!”
If you want to spend your day outside, then this is the hotel for you. The grounds of the hotel were the most beautiful I have ever seen. You can lay right on the beach or even look at the waves from the pool. Wonderful resort. Older rooms, but the grounds made it wonderful.
This is my second time at Ayodya. The last time I visited was in 2013. Ayodya change a lot since that time. Well, I'm very satisfied. Excellent! Nice view with great private beach. I love the big waves! So I'm speechless this time. Very well done!
Good Value with Private Beach hotel”
Staying in Ayodya Nusa Dua Resort is memorable for our family, even though the hotel is not new, but the price is reasonable. The room is big enough for family, and they have private beach. I will stay in this hotel again.
