Great service from the staff especially front desk who were extremely helpful for the 36 hours I stayed the rooms were comfortable and I got a good deal thru agoda Breakfast has to be seen to be believed it was fab ! the hotel has a private beach and pools are refreshing as I say only 36 hrs stay so that about wraps it up

Great resort, plunge pool room”
We stayed for 8 nights in a plunge pool room. Initial check in was not good after being told our room was not available until the following day due to the hotel being over booked. Once we finally got in to our room it was lovely, spacious, & great outdoor plunge pool / relaxation. The resort is big & full of young children, so we were glad to have our own escape. Set right on the beach with lovely views. The only negative is unlike neighbouring resorts who have installed steps from the beach to the walk way, you have to trudge through tough sand to get into fishermans village. Small detail but would greatly improve access for guests. Breakfast was great, fairly decent options to choose from.

The resort is great on a top location. The staff members are very kind and lovely for the kids. Food and beverage are everywhere perfect. Only point of improvement is that housekeeping need to be sharper on the finishing touches, but overall a great resort.

Very nice resort with a good atmosphere. Room was very clean, wifi worked well and staff was friendly. Fitness room very well equipped and with aircon. The beach is also nice. Breakfast is very good, huge variety for every taste. Can only recommend staying here.

Perfect Koh Samui location”
We just spent 9 days at Bandara and had a lovely time. The breakfast is great and the hotel is a short stroll to Fishermans village. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there is a lovely mix of nationalities and couple and family groups and well catered for.

Beautiful beach stay”
Received a complimentary room upgrade which was a nice surprise, beautiful lemongrass oil scented the room , view over reception and main pool from balcony. The shower is awesome- 3 options to choose from, fantastic. Even though they are upgrading roads so no footpath out of resort, the staff assist you in crossing the road and 5 minutes walk on the beach and in fisherman’s village. Fantastic spa package on special at the time , soo relaxing. Fitness room had great equipment ...for families plenty to keep everyone occupied. Food was delicious, great options at breakfast. Room service was quick and large portions also. This place was busy for my stay but I always got a bed by the pool, or was able to work out in the gym, get spa treatment...would recommend and would definitely return.

Nice spot for a break in the sun”
Very comfortable room, with nice balcony. Pool areas are very good and ocean frontage is a bonus. Short walk to fisherman's village, where there are lots of options for bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from. Found the drinks and restaurant food a little expensive to what we're used to. In house spa too expensive to consider as an option. Transfers to Chaweng Beach (2/day) were handy. House staff were awesome, kept topping up the fresh fruit the entire stay.

Great all round really. Food was excellent with the exception of the seafood bbq on the beach, avoid this is you like your food warm. The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, save your money and eat there. Rooms, pools etc all excellent

The family room was very spacious. Loved the complimentary fruits and candy. The room service was good and not expensive. The pools were very lovely. My daughter enjoyed going to the kids’ clubhouse. There were activities to do. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety. However, the resort has a lot of mosquitoes so need to use a lot of repellant. The room also has mosquitoes. Would be good if staff were more attentive when attending to customers instead of attending to customers who interrupt a customer being served. This happened a few times with the Caucasian tourists interrupting us when we were being served by the staff during check in and when enquiring about other things. It would be good to sell more dresses and things for kids in the resort. The dresses sold were beautiful but limited. There was an incident where the driver got into an accident but we were not refunded for that trip and he used our phone to call someone and We are charged with auto roaming rates.

Amazing stay we stayed at Bandara for 4 nights with our 6 year old daughter she had a great time in the pool coz there ate 3 pools, the kids club is superb the staff is very friendly special thanks to Andy he was very helpful .the restaurants at the beach its a lovely sight, serene and calm sand is a lil coarse n slippery but thats ok water sport facilities are there you can do it through the hotel itself , the fisherman village is a must visit lovely restaurants by the beach side once again thank you we loved n enjoyed our stay .

We had a great holiday at the Bandara! Booked a family room with a 3 year old and 5mo old and it was perfect, plenty of space and nice to have the seperate room for the kiddos. Breakfast was nice, my only complaint was that the hot offerings didn't change so by the end of our stay we were a bit bored. The beach has plenty of shade and is right next to one of the pools which is nice. The beach has very course sand so not very good for sandcastles! The pools were lovely and have cabanas that give plenty of shade and the pool also has a little bit of shade at the ends which is perfect with kids. Very easy walk into Bophut and Fisherman's village. You ca walk along the beach but we found it slow going with the kids so we just walked down the road which is better with a buggy and kids and only 200m or so. Lots of lovely restaurants and shopping in Bophut, not too big but also with some nice quality shops. Definitely recommend!

The hotel was nice & clean with great amenities. The hotel is very child friendly and you can find so many young families but usually they stay near kids pool area so beach and pool nearby usually very quiet and relaxing. Rooms are very clean and nice with very comfortable beds. For breakfast they offer wide range of choices (international&asian) and the best part is its served in hotel restaurant by the beach. In terms of location its walking distance to fisherman village where you can find plenty of nice but expensive restaurants but you can find some small nice restaurant very close to hotel that offer great food at very good price ( search trip adviser).

I love everything about this resort. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The breakfast wide selection. The private beach are great. The room are clean. Location is close to fisherman's village and convenient shops. Highly recommend. Would stay here again in future.

We loved the hotel room, grounds, breakfast and most of the staff but the toiletries , tea etc were not renewed on a daily basis also the bath mat was not changed even though it was dirty, when I asked for it to be changed the maid felt it as if it wasn't wet but it had dirty foot marks on it also we paid our final bill roughly an hour before check out so reception rang through to the maid to check the mini bar to which they were told she was cleaning another room, she did end up checking it quickly but left our room door open with our suitcases in along with various personal belongings about and finally the survey form in a sealed envelope was opened, the envelope put in the bin but no sign of the form. I am writing this because these little things spoil what was lovely hotel in every other respect. Stefan on reception was excellent.

The Bandara hotel was very special as it accommodated all of our needs. To name a few- superb room located on first floor with balcony, great swimming pool with the added bonus of complimentary towels,superb breakfast in a stunning location next to the beach, staff great and overall would highly recommend. The only slight down side was the price of air port transfers sorted by the the hotel which was a lot higher than the average taxi.

*PART 2 OF 2* Ultimately, it took me raising my voice a great deal and refusing to take no for an answer until a female staff member (who was great) came and instructed Bond to find us 3 rooms now. The whole situation was SO embarrassing for my whole family and to have this happen after such a joyous occasion was so disappointing. A friend who wasn't able to attend the wedding had purchased myself and my husband a spa package from Bandara. It turned out the front desk had sent the vouchers to the wrong room. When we finally received our vouchers on our last day (i.e. we went down to reception and had to ask for them) we were unable to book the spa. The spa staff were very apologetic but they were fully booked because there was a wedding party from Korea who had bookings all day. After much to-ing and fro-ing they managed to squeeze us in, mostly I think because they thought bridezilla was going to explode! Bandara did not offer us any good will gesture after these incidents.

Hi... We had a nice stay in bandara hotel koh samui. We stayed their for 4nights in pool villa. Check-in staff Mr stefan was very helpful,while waiting for room we were offered drinks,they have changing and relaxing area while waiting you for room to be ready. Manager Mr lance assisted us about places to explore and things to do in samui. Hotel comments - Our room was spacious and washroom was neat, bedding was clean, pool was enough for two people. amenities provided are useful and good quality. Room was hygienic. Lot of activities in hotel premises, candle light dinner,barbecue night,dinner by beach,child activities. Room service was nice and at restaurants food is tasty. Hotel breakfast was delicious,everyday different variety. Staff is very polite, happy and approachable. Things to improve, In room they should keep charging point close to bed and multi adopter. Shoe bag kept at closet was chargeable 100bath and it was not mention anywhere until we checkout.
