Brasov City Center hotels & places to stay

The hotel is without a doubt the best in Brasov. The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station, which is great for those who want to do excursions around Brasov. The breakfast is delicious, and in fact it's the only place in the area that offers breakfast on Christmas Day. Look forward to stay in this hotel if I return to Brasov.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Seemed genuinely interested in pleasing customers. Made a big effort to organise a day trip for us. Great breakfast! Very happy to have chosen Casa Antiqua.

This was my second visit to Romania but the first for my boyfriend and we stayed at the Armatti as I had such a great experience the first time. The hotel is well situated, clean and excellently priced. What let it down this time was the reception staff who were not friendly and appeared disinterested whenever we asked a question. Our room was not as nice either as last time as we were given the disabled room and although it was big the bathroom had a tired shower curtain that did not prevent water getting everywhere and the bathroom was not that nice.

The hotel is in the old city , great location , but the room is old with noice around and above the room , I did not get sleep that night

Prywatny pensjonat w pobliżu centrum miasta i dworców, położony z dala od głównych ulic, więc troszkę trudny w odnalezieniu, ale za to jest cichy i spokojny. Recepcjonista (chyba właściciel) bardzo miły i pomocny.

Everything you need in a place in Brasov , you'll find it in this place , clean , good location and unique style of rooms , i like the Windows design . Only thing kills me the stairs which kind of narrow .

I've been travelling for four months and this has to be one of my fav hostels. It's tucked in one of the alleys in Brasov city area, close to the famous council square and other tourist sites and yet it's so quiet ! The kitchen has so many spices and they even have free rice, cereals, pasta, tea, coffee! The whole place is kept clean and the staff would even fold our blankets daily. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I cant recommend it more to anyone visiting Brasov!

More like an apartment for us. Central heater has been turned on all times, so it is really helped with cold weather during our stay. Front desk ladies are very helpful and the location is near brasov train station / bus terminal.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Holiday Villa. Check-in was a breeze, staff was friendly, room was airy, clean and comfortable! The lounge area also had complimentary coffee, tea and snacks, which was a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Brasov!

Well designed, and right in the middle of town. We really enjoyed it there, and lots of privacy. The hot water wasn't working well initially, but they fixed it for us quickly. Overall, a great place to stay!

We have stayed in dozens of places all over the world and this is one of the very best. Friendly owner, the room is huge and very cosy, they new have WiFi and its super fast. There are two kitchens, both of a high standard. Also two excellent bathrooms. Location is great too- in between train station and the old town, maybe 20 mins walk to either. Price is very good too. Absolutely great place to stay, we were sad to leave. Thoroughly recommended!!

Pension is located very close to the main train and bus station and about 20-30 minutes walk from the center of old city of Brasov. It's good value for the money and a good option for a short stay, especially if you are planning to reach and leave Brasov by train.

Huge room which was great. furniture and shower a little 'tired' looking but for the price was very good. Loved the coffee maker in the room with real coffee...very nice added bonus.

Staff were always on hand to help with any questions. We stayed in a private room off of a dorm (which was empty for our entire stay)- our room was an adequate size and had a private bathroom. Location is perfect - off the Main Street to the square I'm Brasov. The kitchen was perfect to chill out in and tea is coffee is provided :) lovely stay!

Their latest check in time is 20:00 and there is no late check in arrangement, so you can only stay in the train station if you come after 20:00

Ask about a tour to Bran Castle. Very reasonable. Better than taking the local transportation. Hotel very quiet. We would return.

We spent a week or so at the Pantex Hotel in October. The staff were exceptionally helpful and just wonderful to deal with. They gave us tips for restaurants, places of interest, just anything we wanted. The location was great, close to the city center, but quiet and the view of the city was magnificant. We would recommend this hotel to any couple on a holiday.

We really thought the couple that ran the guesthouse were really nice and tried to go above and beyond to help out, answer questions, etc. The room comfort was fantastic, and the best we had in weeks on our trip. Small details like a real conch shell holding soap, and an excellently fitted out kitchen for the guests' use was awesome. They even gave you espresso packets for your coffee in the morning as there is no breakfast. However, there is another guesthouse/bunkhouse/B&B in their home not connected to the house that houses the guesthouse. It seems to attract a totally different type of clientele than what houses the (tranquil) guesthouse guests. They were an unsavory looking lot. During the two nights we were there, we were kicked out of our seats at the picnic table by a smoking, tatooed lot. There was a lot of hookah smoking, drinking from the keg in the picnic area, and noise. This really changed the feel of the property, and made us wonder who all these 'other' people were - we knew who was in the 4 rooms of the guesthouse!

I was only in Brasov briefly and did not spend much time in the hotel, the staff was very helpful and the rooms were quite large.

Great place and the excellent staff made sure I got to experience some of the best of the Carpathians.

Hotel Oasis is situated quite a distance from the main city centre, but is quite convenient to the railway station. It is a delightful hotel , set in a nice tranquil environment. The staff are very friendly and eager to help in any way. Being a bit out of the way I chose to dine in the restaurant and the food was simple , but good and reasonably priced. I only had one night in Brasov, but the hotel was so nice I would like to have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend Hotel Oasis

Overall a nice hotel. The internet speed and breakfast were both decent. The bathroom was modern and well kept. The heating did not work to my liking, but the room was warm enough. The room had flies in it, including a horsefly. I was not able to find a reason for them, and did not have a problem after disposing of the 5 flies. Note that the guy at the front desk (only hotel employee I saw the day I checked in, that night, and the next morning) did not speak English. He did speak Romanian and German.

Lovely place comfortable & large rooms even a regular room is pretty large & the suite is like an apartment. Right in the middle of the old town pedestrians lane so great spot to be in. Lots of options of bars, cafes & restaurants. Also the shoppers have decent options around. Cars not allowed right in front of the hotel, one would need to walk a lane of about 100 mtrs from the parking lot of Hotel Aro Palace with luggage. It's not a bad or exhausting walk at all. Highly recommend.

The room was a good size, it was clean, shower was fine, breakfast was adequate. The big disappointment to me was the location, it was advertised as being 0.7 kms from the city centre, about 10-15 minutes walk. I timed it, and it was approximately double that distance, we didn't even bother to walk as it would have taken too long. Parking was also quite dodgy, easy to damage your car if you arent careful.

Hotel in in the city center on the main road. My room was big and comfortable. A good choice for a night or two.

I was the only guest during my three day stay so i had this place to myself. It is a house that is about 20 min walk away from the centre of Brasov so this is the only negative that i will write. It is a little far when you're walking to/from the centre everyday. However everything else was superb! First off the caretakers are a married couple who are really super friendly and who will help you with ANYTHING that you require! I was given a HUGE breakfast every morning and it was so much food that i didnt finish it every morning as i was too full. I also took a day tour with the care takers husband and it was well organised, informative and he was very chatty and friendly guy. Overall i highly recommend this place in brasov as it is warm, welcoming, clean, friendly and besides a little further from town, a perfect place to stay!
