We had stayed 10 nights, and was very enjoyable. Here we would like to particularly appreciate to Mr. Ishigami and the staffs of the front counter. They w very warming and helpful in contacting to Narita JR service office and luckily found back my losts in next morning.
Good stayed at Citadines very roomy staff very polite only thing far from JR station but close to subway station less than 5 minute walk many local food restaurants close by however citadines good hotel to chose.
We spent 3 nights at the start of our Japanese holiday at this hotel. We were given connecting rooms as we requested but the connection was not within the rooms as in other hotels we have stayed ar. There was a little hallway between the rooms with a third door which led to the corridor going to the lift. This made the inter-connection inconvenient although still functional. The rooms had a window each which looked into the wall of the building next door so no view to speak of even though the room descriptions on Agoda mentioned city views. Gave us the feeling of a cheap hotel in Hong Kong. On the bright side, the hotel staff was polite and helpful.
In my opinion, The good things are: - The room quite spacious for Japan hotel standard - Clean and modern room - Near bus station - Mini market just nearby The bad things are: - Nothing Conclusion: Very worth the price, and will come back to this hotel again
Location and comfort”
Large rooms( well , for Japan anyway) and the Heart of Shinjuku within walking distance make this an easy choice, we stayed here on our last visit and would stay here again. There are hotels closer to the action, but Citadines are so reliable, you always know what you will get, and that is perfect for us. Housekeeping staff are excellent!
Great Location and Excellent Value”
The location was excellent. Many food options were nearby. A short walk to either the Metro or the main Shinjuku train station. Room was big and spacious with plenty of amenities and the staff were extremely polite. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Tokyo.
Cheap and Good Quality Stay (but far from Shinjuku Station)”
It's rather a walk from Shinjuku Station (and please do not mix this hotel with the other Citadines Shinjuku Hotel - I think it's called Central or something). Nevertheless, enjoy my stay there with a spacious room you can ever get in Japan (for me at least)!
Nice hotel, great staff and location. bit noisy at times”
We were a group of adults in different rooms. Locating the hotel and checking in was a breeze. Hotel is near many convenience stores, eateries and the train station. Front desk was always professional and efficient. The only issues we had was that we felt the room weren't always properly cleaned and the walls were quite thin, not sure why but there would be knocking or other noises at night or early in the morning.
Excellent location, very close to train station and Shinjuku Gyoen National Park, lots of restaurants nearby including Bistro Clover which we visited twice, great food and atmosphere. Kitchenette well equipped, staff very friendly and helpful, convient stores close by
Everything you need”
Great location, close enough to the hustle & bustle of Shinjuku and gardens, but quiet enough to feel like you’re in your own little oasis. Hotel is clean and well thought out. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Clean and spacious”
Slightly away from the main station of shinjuku but pretty decent walk to the nearest station and underpass. The staffs were very polite and friendly. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. Theres the laundry room for use as well. great and pleasant stay throughout the 6 days I had
Location was fantastic given the price paid. Loved the hotel for the kitchen, everything was provided. The bed is a little too soft for me. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, a good place to stay!
Affordable, plenty of space, good location”
I loved how spacious the room is. While there are more luxurious hotels out there with similar pricing, their rooms are much much smaller. The staff also have a good command of English. Location wise, it's a 10min walk from the nearest station with several konbini and food places along the way. There's even a supermarket across the road. However, one down side is that the bed is really soft/lumpy as though it's been slept in for so long. It'll be good if the beds were more firm ones so my shoulders and back wouldn't suffer that badly.
Clean and worth it.”
It’s my 2nd time here and i like it. It just that its winter and the heater wasn’t so helpful to keep us warm. Other than that its fine . lots of restaurant and convenience store nearby. And Shinjuku Gyo-maen train station is 8 minutes walk from the hotel. They also remembered my birthday and leave a wish card with a candy. Nice gesture.
Great Hotel, with Home convenience ”
As the name says, apart-hotel, so expect the room to be equipped with all the comfort of home like microwave, stove top, water boiler, fridge, ironing board, etc. Getting food & drinks are easy, because it's located between two Combini (convenience store) with marvellous selections of hot/cold food & drinks. But getting to and from the hotel was a bit exhausting, as the nearest station is Shinjuku-Gyomae (quite a walking distance from the hotel, and bringing a large luggage will also be troublesome as to go out the station you need to go via underpass where your have to go up and down the stairs without any escalators or elevators around). On top of that, the station only being served with the Marunochi line, and for going around town you mostly need to do your transfer via Shinjuku station to another line, and it's quite a walk from the Marunochi platform to other platforms (roughly about 10-15 minutes)
Location is a bit far from shinjuku station and places of interest. However, there is a convienient store right beside the hotel and a ramen eatery across the road which is good. The hotel itself is clean and comfy and the staffs are excellent.
4 nights in Tokyo”
A great apartment hotel only 2 short stops to Shinjuku central (around 5 minutes on the metro) great restaurants, 7-11's and Family stores all around. Hotel is situated in a quiet area of Shinjuku and an easy walk to Shinjuku, Golden Gai and a beautiful park. Loved our stay here, apartment was spacious, small kitchenette, sofa and friendly staff. Definitely stay here again when visiting Japan
Has a gym!”
It was so difficult for us to find hotels that are reasonably priced with gyms. We loved that this hotel had a gym - though it was a little small. We loved the laundry facilities and the lovely staff. The rooms are well appointed and very big for Japan. the only thing about it was that it wasn't right in the hustle and bustle of shinjuku (which may be a positive for many).
15 minute away from busy centre”
Hotel in quite distance area to walk. Due to location and the distance to subway their price should be more reasonable. Although amenities are provided. Hotel did not provide umbrella for guess but sold them for 500 yen which is not necessary. We have been to other hotels in japan where location, value for money and most important the cleanliness are much better. I can only say if you like a hotel away from busy area then i would recommended this hotel for you.
Staying there for the second time. Both experiences were great. Stayed 8 days the 1st time and 5 days the second. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Super clean, rooms big enough with kitchenette and small living/couch area. A little bit of a walk to the main Shinjuku subway station but other stations are much closer. Plenty of restaurants within a 10 mins walk. Love this place.
