I enjoy my stay in Aberdeen only that I do not like as thetr shop close at six. Well maybe I go there due to company business therefore I have limited time to go for shopping as the shop close very early.
Would like to suggest the shop should open 10.3am - 7.30pm.
Aberdeen is a charming city. Someone interested in nature can find beauty in this area. One can see castles in many different states; livable and not.
There is a lot of shopping packed together, so one does not have to travel far. The old city is small and can be easily completely seen. The beach is fun and Foot Dee was quite an interesting area of residence.
The people are really friendly, the old granite buildings are unique and so much interesting history to find in the museum and art gallery.
I did not find the open top tour buses like in other places like Edinburgh but maybe they do run them in summer months as that would be an ideal way to find out the real history of the place. The food is not as good as it used to be many years ago and it's hard to find the typical stovies and oatcakes, haggis suppers etc however it's great to still be able to get a toasted rowie/buttery in many cafes with a cup of tea.
Aberdeen is a lively city with lots of shopping and eating places. Not much else to do though unless you really looked hard.
Aberdeen means Strong winds so bring your Gortext! Lots of rain and windy. Offshore industry city, good university.
Pubs and bars is in every corner.
Aberdeen in O&G city but it has it's own attraction. Stroll around city center streets and good ole castle nearby.
