It is a great location, close to Ankara castle and museums, there is an impressive mosque just opposite the hotel. It’s close to bus station and a metro, the green and amusement park is just across the road. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Just one thing is breakfast, it is always the same: an egg, some cucumber and tomato, olives, and cheese. Also cornflakes...

Comparing the rate for this hotel being a five star to other four star hotels in the area,it's definitely a wise choice to pick Rixos. The rooms are clean and comfy, the food is good, the staff are helpful and most importantly the pool is great. Not too many hotels have a pool in Ankara and in the summer with temperatures close to 40 degrees, it's so nice to have a poo...

The hotel is located in the heart of the city.It is next to the metro stationIt is also so close to the Ulus square. The rooms are nicely decorated.facilities of the room are good.We stayed in the business class room which is bigger than the standard rooms and it has also balcony. The breakfast was superb. It was high quality. You can easily reach Ankara Castle and Anatoli...

What i like during our stan in the Hiltonsa,Ankara number one is location then excellent city view. Cleaness is another good point for this hotel. Staff kindness is also excellent .we realy very much like this hotel during our stay.we strongly recommend this hotel for travellers.

this hotel is not close to anything but the big bus station, so it was perfect for our transit stop through turkey. The hotel was big, spacious and clean. It had really good facilities such as the pool, sauna and gym which. Downside is that you need to pay for wifi if you want it in your room, otherwise go down to the lobby.

i booked a room for 3-bed in their hotel for one night. when arrived, i was surprised to see that all rooms are of the same size whether single, double, or triple. they fit three beds in the same room and charge lot more than single or double. i wanted to extend my stay for 12 hours. i asked their counter clerk to extend it, and he wanted more money than i booked it f...

There was a women who checked me in. she was very rude and the first room she assigned to me the window was a bay window and the locking had issue. the second room I was offered, the locking was working but the room smelled like some one just smoked a cigaret in that room. I took the room, and left the window open and the next day the smell was gone. When I was che...

First of all This hotel is dirty, the toilet in the room is like the toilet in the cell for prisoners ( if you can imagine how awful) Secondly the guests that stayed in this hotel mostly noisy people they shout and talk on the phone and sing on the corridor of the hotel floor anytime, even it’s 3 am in the morning. Thirdly the staff doesn’t understand proper English if...

The staff was very friendly with all requests even though they could not speak much english, they may also be a little slow sometimes as they are elderly but they are relatively efficient. The hotel is old but the rooms were very well-maintained and very clean. There is also free tea provided throughout the day and transport to the hotel is free from the Bus and Tra...

During my stay, this hotel was under construction. The entire room set-up was poor. The location is across a few night clubs- too noisy. Location is unsuitable for customers looking for a place to rest after a long journey (like myself). I left the hotel a few hours from staying. The staff were very hospitable and tried to do their best to make up for my inconveniences...

Our stay at Mina 1 Hotel was overly pleasant, Hakar the front desk person was overwhelmingly supurb, very attentive. Assited us with any needs and questions we had. Friendly and caring staff. If I were to revisit Ankara in the future, I would definetly come and stay at Mina 1 Hotel again.

Couldn't agree more on the location, strategically in Kizilay District. However, below are my disappointment point of view on this hotel: 1. Feels like you are back in 90's. Wardrobe & bed needs to be changed. Small bathroom and very small shower section 2. POOR BREAKFAST! This is one of my major upset about this hotel. Very2 basic, no bread toaster, malfunction coffe...

We had a great time while staying at Anemon Ankara. It was clean and the quality was beyond our expectations. Breakfast was good. The Hotel is 10 minutes walk to the Kizilay Square, and very close to many bars. Ms. Devrim was very helpful at the front desk and gave us a great room to enjoy our stay.

My room the The Guleryuz was very comfortable. However it was at the intersection of 4 very busy roads and directly across from a large mosque. This made it very noisy, especially in the middle of the night when the prayer call sounded. If you want a good nights sleep, this hotel is not for you. I was unable to get internet in my room which was very inconvenient and wh...

I booked a room in this hotel through the agoda.com website and when I arrived at the hotel they told me that they no longer work with this site and that they do not have an available room, after which I moved to another hotel, however they withdrew from my bank card, the amount which they did not provide with me.

The Hotel is situated at the base of Ankara Castle. When we walked into the Hotel for the first time we were taken back by the layout. WOW........... The rooms are very very WOW .There is everything you need and more! The food at the Restaurant is first Class! The breakfast that came with the room was also SUPER. I can't wait to go back and stay again.

I stayed for the first time in Doubetree By Hilton Ankara Hotel and was quite happy with my choice. It was my third stay in Ankara and the previous times I stayed in other hotels. Doubletree is definitely worthwhile staying. The rooms are reasonably good with efficient equipment. Breakfast in Turkey is always something special and the Doubletree is no exception. I woul...
Traveler impressions of Ankara
My visit to Ankara was just to get married, so had to go to US Embassy and another one as well for my Fiance.
Ankara cannot hold a candle to Istanbul so do not expect much at all. Ulus is cheap but a little sleazy, Kizilay is nicer to stay as more food options but limited real restaurants.
A must visit is the castle. They are doing up the old town within the castle walls, some good shopping for nic naks here - did find a lovely jeweller across from main gate who produced replica jewellery reasonable price so you don't need to wait for the gold Souke in Dubai .
A fascinating city: a whirl of sights and colours. "Musts" - Museum of Anatolian Civilisations: Ethnographic Museum: Citadel and old town.
Basically an administration centre for the great country of Turkey. Besides that and probably business, there's nothing much to do, see or experience.

I couldn't have chosen a better hotel for my stay in Ankara. It is a lovely little boutique hotel. The staff are very attentive, the hotel is modern, lots of space in the room (we had a suite), and it was very clean. It is located on a busy street, but our room was at the back
