Atlanta (GA) hotels & places to stay

The man who checked me in was amazing! It took a little while as the line was long, but the experience was great and I truly had the best room in all of Atlanta. I've actually lived in a high-rise in downtown Atlanta for many years, and this was my first time back. I was blown away by my view and the fact that I had a balcony. That is so rare with hotels these days. Truly a wonderful experience!!

This hotel has all of the amenities you would expect from a Hyatt. Our rooms were roomy and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

I enjoyed my stay at the Atlanta Hilton! The entire staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious. Next trip to Atlanta I will stay here again

I loved our stay at the Hyatt. It was an easy walk with small children to the Coke factory, the Georgia Museum, and the CNN Center. Loved that the mall was attached to the hotel, too. I didn't give 5s overall because the floor had something sticky and for the five days I was there the stickiness was too.

The very first interaction I had with staff at ECCH was - superb. A slight wrinkle with the reservation, solved seamlessly. There was another opportunity with a friend who decided to stay at the hotel but did not have a reservation. Problem solved smoothly. Everyone was a delight to deal with and resolved little issues that arose. The line cook went out of his way to assure that I had jalapenos for my breakfast omelets. The only problem was my friend's room did not get serviced on the last day it was due — small mix up. The hotel is quaint, on beautiful grounds. Due to its age, and overall layout, some things are not as convenient as in more consolidated hotels. For instance, it took two elevators and a stroll across the beautiful lobby to get to parking. Not a big issue for me, but I heard some frustration. Overall this is an excellent hotel, with an outstanding staff, lovely grounds and if you have anything to do at the central Emory campus a great location.

Hands down the best stay! AJ checked me in and I was originally in a room near the vending/ ice machine, which normally wouldn't be a concern, but I was here for a Tough Mudder and needed uninterrupted rest and was concerned that being so be so close to what can at times be a noisy part of the hotel might wake me up and ask AJ to move me and he was happy to accommodate. He made the trip so pleasant and relaxing. Thank you AJ!

I enjoyed my stay, but little things like paying $10/day for wifi or $3 for the bottled water in room is just annoying when you're staying at a nice hotel.

This is a solid 4 star hotel. It has a very chic lobby and feel, but it feels dated. My room was really dark - due to decorating decisions. That is not really my style. I like to see what I'm doing. Fixtures were quite old. Our sliding bathroom door did not close all the way,. The bed was absolutely comfortable, as you would expect from a W hotel. However, I do think this hotel could use some upgrades. We got breakfast included. It was mediocre. We skipped breakfast the second day and found a nice diner.

my stay was a pleasant one even though the purpose was for waiting for an airline departure out of the atlanta airport. the free airport shuttle was , comfortable and on time. airport was just a few minutes away. the room was big, clean new and spacious. reasonable rate considering the kitchenette and 2 person spa. i would recommend for business travelers.

I have been to many hotels and hostels all over the world, and I must say the knowledge and helpfulness at this hotel was amazing. The rooms are standard and the cleaness and location are more what you normally expect. If you book through agoda, booking.com or hotels hotels., please confirm that the hotel also have your confirmation before you go there since many of them use each other and an old system that makes you get a confirmation but not the hotel. IN my case agoda solved it after some call from the hotel.

I reside in Atlanta & have watched this hotel get re-bought .. but my stay was kinda horrible .. I was there for one night the faucets sink and tub had little to no water pressure until my check out day around 8/9 in the morning.. the ice machine on the 15th floor wasnt working... From the view of my room there’s not to much upkeep of the pool there was dark lurky spots covering the floor of it .. I wouldn’t recommend if you intend on spending most of your time in your room but since I was just crashing for a late night in Atlanta the price was reasonable

An option if you have no choice or recovering from Jetlag. is pretty old and run down, but told most are around Atlanta area.

Great service every day we saw the same person and she was amazing!!! She made sure my daughter and I had everything we needed, and when we checked out my daughter forgot her pillow and before we walked out of the hotel she brought my daughter's pillow down awesome service!!!!

I the change my travel plans was looking for great hotel pricing and stumbled upon Agoda.com. The prices for hotel rooms were reasonably priced so I went to their website and booked a room. It was quick and easy an in less than a minute I received an email saying that my booking was confirmed and complete.

The only complaint we had was that the wall in the bathroom was pretty nasty when we arrived, and the bathroom sink clogged immediately on the first day and didn’t drain for the rest of the time we were there. However, we really weren’t expecting it be perfect, and the rest of the facilities functioned perfectly. The price was amazing, and it was in a reasonable walking distance from the convention we attended. Good experience overall! :)

Only thing i didnt like was that the hotel held a extra $25 a night on my credit card at check-in. Those fees should be posted on the website to let guess know so its no surprises and also ice makers didnt work on 2 floors. Had to go 3 floors up to hunt down ice

If you have work in Buckhead, this is the best location, at the Piedmont & Peach Tree Road crossing. Close to restaurants, Starbucks, Spin Class and perfect for a good work trip!

Although somewhat more pricey than other accommodations available close to the airport, Best Western Plus is an excellent option. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for business and leisure travelers. Best Western Plus Atlanta is highly recommended for short or long stays in Atlanta.

Beautiful patio, decent breakfast, easy in and out and a great location for your dollar. I could have paid 100 dollars more and stayed for exactly the same accommodations but for name recognition only. Great Place in Downtown Atlanta for the price!

We are just leaving the hotel today. What a wonderful experience!! We noticed that all team members at the hotel have an attitude of friendliness and service. We think this begins with the General Manager He was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. During our four days here many of the employees spoke highly of Niles and his attention to detail. This attention showed in the cleanliness of the hotel and our room. Many hotels have hallways that are not clean...at the Atlanta Sheraton all immaculate. Carpets vaccumed and floors polished!!! The pool area is beautiful and the restaurant areas are very accessible and well thought out. We used the Club Lounge and the breakfast and evening snacks were wonderful. The Club Lounge is open 24 hours and breakfast until 10:30 which both are convenient features. We were here on a vacation celebrating an anniversay and all made us feel so welcome. Jerome our bellman at check in always recognized us by name as we would come and go. He was so very helpful on a number of items. Shirley in the Club Lounge is a hostess that all should meet! The moment you walk in she makes you feel like you are at home. She really takes care of the guests and one can tell she loves her job. Thanks also to Erika who helped make our trip a memorable one. We give this stay a Five Star rating without hesitation. Our thanks to general manager and his tremendous team.

Loved the location. Easy, short walk to stadium. We felt safe walking at night. Excellent Mexican restaurant right around the corner called No Mas. Hotel Staff were super friendly and breakfast was delicious. Also, I was happy to have free parking. We will be back. I never leave reviews, but this one deserves 5 stars.

The Omni Hotel was immaculate. The environment they cast perfectly captured elegance in a prime location in the center of the battery. Staff was nice, and the view from my room was fantastic. There were a few negatives that really sullied the trip. 1. I stayed 1 night in the Omni. At the end of my stay, upon checkout, I was notified of a $40 valet charge. For a $200 a night hotel to charge such a fee seemed excessive. Not the presence of a charge, I paid for parking at upper echelon hotels before, but the fact that it was $40! I still tipped the valet $20 as I had intended since the beginning. Getting the hotel its money is a nice thought, but how much of that $40 do the people actually doing the work get. 2. The key cards are sticky. I spent a good 10-15 minutes each time I got on the elevator trying to get it to read my key card, but couldn't find the exact positioning. All in all, I think the valet charge sullied the experience so much so, I will be looking to stay in another hotel.

I checked into a suite, one room was warm the other room was cold. I was given another that did not have the beds I requested. I was told that the rate would be adjusted. It was not. The second room I was given did not really warm up because the thermostat would only go up to 75 degrees. My stay was Awful.

We got a room at the 59th floor and the view was awesome. The rotating restaurant at the 70th floor served delicious food and the staff was outstanding. The location is perfect and the room was huge and comfortable. Only the valet parking has some room for improvement, we had to wait 20 min for our car and $32 per night is not adequate for the service!

The airplanes were of course loud but of course they’re located right by the airport; you’ll get use to it after a few hours. The staff is actually really nice and genuine just don’t take forever. Make sure you have you payment ready and other recommended or needed documents as required. They keep their rooms clean with fresh linen and toiletry. If you run of linen or toiletry all you have to do is ask and they give it to you. If you’re staying more than a day at least leave for a few or more hours to give them time to clean or replenish linen or toiletry. Plenty of places to eat in the surrounding area of College Park, GA. The office of the place or facility is also clean and neat with fresh air ; mainly air conditioning and throughout the rooms as well. This is only if you’re not too picky. I enjoy my stay. The beds are very comfortable. :)
