Since end of June 2019 this resort is under new Management. It is very basic atm (Aug.2019), no electricity, WiFi only part times and byo food. They will upgrade soon, but it will take some Fiji time. Good to relax and get off the grid. From the Main road there is a road 3km to the resort. The bus will let you off at the junction, but from there you have to walk 3km. This road is suitable for 2WD as well, a bit bumpy sometimes. The beach is good for swimming at high tide and the environement is suitable for families as well. I went on a short, but adventurous hike with Joe to Vatia Lookout Point, where you can see the surrounding reef at low tide.
