Traveler impressions of Bali
Its best to visit bali with your love one, its just too nice to be missed. Of course it can turn into a nightmare if you don't know where to go.
Great place for cheap massages, and amazing food. Watch out for overly forceful salespeople at the markets and street shops, and make sure you can deal with the heat.
Beaches, waterfalls, temples, mountains, volcanos, nature, cultures, food, lovely people... what's not to like? Oh yeah the traffic's horrid.
its a really good city along with volcano and beaches some small islands really good. beaches are really good do spent more time
Bali is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a holiday. A chilled out place where everything, except traffic, is relaxed and moving at own pace.
Spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. Most times you need to haggle on pricing be it clothing, taxi fare or decor.
the culture is really good, plenty of temples, natural waterfalls, beaches etc.. so many things to do and see.
loved every bit of the holiday. nusa dua is awesome. kuta was good because it was not so busy, but stay away from a man who sells wallets etc and call himself 'harry bucking butler'.
Bali has many towns each with their own flavour. Kuta with its wild feel and nightlife is full of young surfers and clubbers.
I have been to Bali dozens of times, love the place & the people. On my recent trip, it's saddened me to see how disrespectful are a lot of the Balinese & the domestic tourists (Indonesians) to their own land.
I love the Mother Nature such as dreamland beach, it is very very clean water and big waive, tanah lot is so beautiful, it look like a stone island and we took a lot of photo there.
Beautiful island. Place to bring your families and have fun at the same time relax and enjoy the atmosphere with good food and entertainments.
Bali is amazingly beautiful island with wonderful and friendly people around, variety of beach clubs, shopping malls and souvenir shops.
There is no place like home, and Bali is my second home. My family and I have been travelling at least twice a year to Bali and we can never get enough.
Best to travel mid of the year as it's not a rainiy season & cool breeze from South makes everything perfect when you do outdoor activities.
attractive. the place that i can come again for next time. Monkey forest that an attractive places for visit
Beautiful island, stunning sunset and friendly people. A bit commercialised, but still retaining the beauty of a little paradise if you know how o avoid the touristic spots
Can be lot to see, the beaches at sunset and unbud for jungle and forest scenery overall lot to do there.
Bali is so different than any other part of Indonesia. This island sets a standar for worldclass tourism industries.
Bali is a beautiful relaxing place to enjoy a holiday. Whatever you wish to do in Bali your wishes can be met.
Beautiful Island, with many tourists, various food, sports activity, many things can be done in Bali Nice Place
Balinese people are friendly and quick to smile. They are gracious and want to please and this makes even the most determined market shop owner bearable and 'sweet' as they call to you to please come and buy from them.
Bali is laid back. Nice place to relax, have good food and good beer, go sightseeing. There are some very touristy areas, but there are nice local spots where you get a good feel of the place.
one of the best places to visit for holidays. I've been around many countries but always come back to Bali
There are too many people trying to make a living out of tourism. They are too pushy to sell goods and services.
Island of the Gods. Although a lot of tourism and hawkers, the vibe is chilled and the culture is intoxicating.
Its has everything if you travel around the island and get out of Kuta. Kuta is for the teenage to party all night and sleep all day.
Bali was an exciting place for us to explore. We tried to see as much as we could in 3 weeks and had the most wonderful time.
Overall good. The only problem is most tourist attractions are are to short and too expansive. We paid 600k for 12 private car.

More about Bali
Indonesia may have the world's largest Muslim population, but Bali fosters its own distinct culture. Hinduism has flourished here for nearly 2,000 years. Away from the beaches are fascinating Hindu temples, cultural exhibitions, terraced rice fields, and colorful festivals.
Kuta is the busiest resort district in Bali, featuring some of the top luxury hotels in Bali. Behind the main waterfront is a spread of budget guesthouses that are still within easy walking distance of the beach. From here it's a short trip by taxi or rented motorbike to Uluwatu, a massive limestone peninsula jutting out in the sea. Tourists visit Uluwatu to see the temple, go surfing, or watch the sunset over the majestic cliffs.
Legian is another must-see, as it offers an excellent surf along with exciting nightlife along the beach. Life in Legian begins and ends on the beach. Surf shops give lessons by day, and then give way to lively bars and live music venues after sunset. There is a reason that Bali is often referred to as paradise, and much of it is evidenced by a visit to the many beaches.
