"Golden Tulip Galaxy is the new hotel in Banjarmasin. The hotel is really nice and the room is comfortable, just the washbin location in the room is a bit strange. The breakfast is standard tough, but the room service is superb and good value. Great stay in Banjarmasin."

"During my previous 2 years working until Aug 2014 at Banjarmasin, I never knew this hotel, so this hotel is quite new. Located merely about 50 meters from Martapura River bank in the very heart of Banjarmasin, view we could enjoy from our room windows as well as the rooftop restaurant is astonishing. Bed is comfy enough, however the room lighting is a little bit dark, yet best for sleep. Amenities are minimum. I love the unique aroma of the body soap provided here. Breakfast is tasty, however menu selection is very limited. However, not far from the hotel, there is Taher Square, a night food center. This hotel is only 1 minute walking from Martapura River Bank Park (Taman Siring Sungai Martapura), best for sightseeing & jogging. Staffs are helpful & quick. When I requested for additional facial & toilet tissues, the housekeeping boy came in within 2 minutes. Parking space is limited. If you choose Deluxe Room and located at 6th floor, be ready for endless noise of Night Live Music until 11-12 pm, which is held at 7th floor every night. "

"I've tried a couple of (not so)luxury hotel in Banjarmasin. I think Rattan Inn is the best if you are looking for a quite, easy to sleep hotel. it feels like home. everything here is just perfect as for Banjarmasin standard I don't think you can find any hotel better than this. my only complaint is that, the rate Agoda's giving isn't better than the walk-in rate. I think I Pay around extra USD10 or more... I think Agoda should negotiate more to the vendor's as USD is strengthening & Hotel business is slows down, they should have better bargaining power. it's bad for coorporate image when you published "lowest price guaranteed" but in fact it's more expensive than the (undiscounted) walk-in rates.
