"I lost my laptop computer, which is of invaluable significance to me, at Munich Airport, while taking a flight to Barcelona. Mr. Christian Gruner of Eurohotel Barcelona Granvia Fira, who speaks Spanish, German, and English fluently, took the exordibary patience and passion to help me locate the computer and arrange for its express delivery to the hotel on 25 September, the day before my departure. It is 24 September today and I am eagerly waiting for the computer to arrive. My gratitude for Chris (Mr. Gruner) and the entire staff is beyond word."

"We were touring Spain and returned to Barcelona for one day! This was the perfect location for us. Great for touring, close to restaurants and shopping and gay bars. The hotel is very clean and modern. The bathrooms are roomy and have a tub. Which is a nice addition and not found in most European hotels. The rooms are large. The only draw back is no on site bar."

"Thank you to the friendly staff - Laura who is always ready to help with a smile. The other staff is strict - borrowing the hair dryer is a hazzle as it has to be returned w/in 4 hrs even if I tell the staff that I will return 7am the ff morning - not allowed. "

Best Western Plus Hotel Alfa Aeropuerto
Barcelona Airport,Barcelona - View on map
"This is my second stay here and will be my choice of where to stay in Barcelona. The location is reasonably close to the airport. The shuttle service is a bonus which will save you 20 euros in taxi fares each way. Its not in the city centre but for 2.20 euros by bus which is on the doorstop, its a great alternative, you'd be paying that for using the metro. Now about the hotel... the staff are amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. Danny our receptionist should get paid more for what he does. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast sensational. It is a little bit of tranquility in a busy city. I have stayed at lots of 5 star hotels around the world but this hotel is right up there as a favourite."

Wilson Boutique Hotel

"We booked a suite but it was not big enough for our family so the receptionist happily showed me two other rooms which could accommodate us at a reasonable price. The rooms were clean and tidy. With our rooms having a bathtub and balcony. It was nice to sit on the balcony and have a glass of cava and watch the street below. The hotel had a lift which was could as we had lots of luggage. The staff were also nice enough to store all our luggage while we waited for our flight. The hotel has limited room service and limited breakfast but because of it's location, we were able to find lots of places to eat. A great hotel in Barcelona. "

Hotel & Spa Villa Olimpic@ Suites

"We enjoyed our stay here in mid February 2017. The location of the hotel in Barcelona is great, You are about 10-15min walk from the beach and around 25min walk from Les Rambles in the center of Barcelona. There is a metro station just around the corner from the hotel which is just a few stops away from the major attractions and locations in Barcelona which is a big time and money saver. There are also some restaurants, cafe's and bars around the hotels vicinity also. The only problem i found with the location of the hotel is that the side our room was on there is what appears to be some sort of recycle center opposite and can be noisy at times and found there was a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning, I'm not sure if this was related to this place or not but there was sometimes some significant noise. We had a standard room which was very clean and equipped with a small fridge, safe, a few draws, shoe rack, hanging space, shower gel, shampoo, body cream, razor etc and a hair dryer. The one thing i was hoping for was a kettle but there was not one. The walk in shower was really nice, and the separate bath was also nice. There was a flat screen TV mounted on the wall, with a few random English channels, but I'm not on holidays to watch TV so not that that mattered much. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant as we preferred to venture into town but it looked nice. The bar was good, fairly priced for a hotel, enjoyed a few cocktails down there before heading out, the bar staff were nice and friendly as were the reception staff. We didn't use the outside pool as it was a little cold, i was a little surprised on the size of the pool given the space they have as it seems a little small but non the less clean and well presented. The Spa in the hotel was really nice, if you have a suite or have a certain type of room spa access is free but if you have a standard room the spa is 15 Euro's per day per person to use. The spa's pool is a nice size with Jacuzzi "

Hotel Front Maritim
El Poblenou,Barcelona - View on map
"The hotel is great, perfect location, good front desk staff and good facilities. The location is very residential so it might be a little lonely in the evenings and night but Barcelona is not very big and everything is within walking distance. The Mar Bella beach is right opposite the hotel. The only issue I had was with the Restaurant staff, just the one white guy there, he was very rude during breakfast and later in the evening. I was heading out and just asked him for some water, he does not even look at me and says "Go buy your water, dont bother me!" and keeps walking. Maybe my brown skin put him off but I felt like punching his face, I kept my cool and my wife just took me away. Hopefully the hotel takes care of him cuz I did not make an official complaint. But I had a great time and I will definitely go the same hotel again."

Pol & Grace Hotel
Sant Gervasi,Barcelona - View on map
"Our stay at Pol & Grace was amazing. This was one of our best hotel stays in Europe. For a start, the hotel is just less than a minute walk from the train station. Going to town or many major attractions from this hotel is extremely convenient given that there are 2 metro lines at the station. The design of the room was very unique. It isn't like any other hotel. I love the little snippets of messages for us. The room itself was pretty decently sized, which meant it's good value for the price. There is even a small sofa in there for you to sit and relax if you don't want to mess up your bed. WIFI was great as well and the system makes it easy to connect without having to login all the time. I like that they provide free tea and coffee at the lobby, it's a nice touch and the lobby itself is a very cosy and comfortable area. The receptionists were great and polite. They helped us print out some match and plane tickets without much hassle and communicated well with tips of Barcelona attraction. All in all, it's a great hotel and we will be back if we visit Barcelona again. "
