The Z Hotel Bath
Bath City Centre,Bath - View on map
"The Z Hotel Bath exceeded my expectations in every way. My Room Without a Window was VERY compact but well designed and spotlessly clean. The room's air conditioning unit & fan ran all the time but the temperature could be controlled. I did not find it disturbed me. The bed was comfortable with good linen & pillows. Enclosed on 3 sides, the bed was long enough for my 5' 11" length but would be cramped for anyone over 6' 1". The bathroom was well designed too and the shower was good. The hotel's central location was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again."

SACO Bath - St James's Parade
Bath City Centre,Bath - View on map
"Best apartment that we booked and stayed at bath. Very well equipped room with a full kitchen. The room is very huge with a small corridor connecting the main room and the toilet after the main door. The toilet has a bathtub too. After entering the main room, we felt like home sweet home. The room is with a king size bed, a small living room with a dining/dressing table and there is a door connecting to the kitchen to the back of the main room. As for the kitchen, it is very well equipped with fridge, freezer, dish washer, oven, microwave, kettle... whatever you need in the kitchen, you have it!! Excellent! Love this apartment!! Must book!"

DoubleTree by Hilton Bath

"Hotel is a standard Hitlon Hotel in Bath. Location is convenient and there is no surprise for the room or for the breakfast. It is a big hotel so not very warm in terms of welcome or breakfast ... but it is comfortable. SOme regret is internet is not free and expensive. However, you can connect in the lobby. Also parking is very expensive."

Holiday Inn Express Bath
Southdown,Bath - View on map
"I like the close proximity to the city centre where the Roman Baths, Pump Room, Fashion Museum and Royal Crescent are located. Moreover, the hotel is so close to the supermarket, Sainsbury, and that is certainly a plus point as we needed to shop for snacks and drinks to bring along for our driving holiday."

The Ayrlington House
Bath City Centre,Bath - View on map
"We stayed for two nights at The Abbey room and it was wonderful. The service was very good. Upon arrival we were greeted and staff helped us with our car as the parking at the hotel were full. You can park the car at the street lots but you will need a parking permit which can be obtained from the hotel. We were shown to the room and were given an orientation to the room. The room was spacious. It was decorated in traditional English style and the owners spent a lot of time on the details. The room was on the second floor and faces the garden. It can be a little warm in the evenings as the sun shines directly into the room. We asked the hotel for a fan and they kindly obliged with one. Breakfast was excellent. You can choose items from the menu and also take items from the buffet table although the choices for the buffet table may not be much. Make your way down early for breakfast as the dining room can be full if there are a lot of guests and you will need to wait for them to finish. Location was just fantastic. It is a short 10 minutes walk to The Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey and Roman Baths. There are lots of restaurants nearby too serving multi cultural cuisine such as Italian and Thai food. The Bath Bowling Club is just next door so you might catch a glimpse of the bowling games in the evenings. It was our first visit to Bath and to us The Ayrlington was one of the attractions of the city! What we liked: 1) Location of hotel 2) Friendly and helpful staff 3) Nice breakfast What we disliked: 1) Parking space may be limited but can be managed by off street parking 2) Direct sunlight into the room may make it feel warm in the afternoon but you can ask for a fan"

Hiding Space Westgate Apartments
Bath City Centre,Bath - View on map
"A very well equipped studio apartment in the centre of the city. Noisy street but good double glazing. No air con so a bit hot. Comfy bed, on the soft side. Liked the nespresso coffee maker. There is a minibar but it's easy enough to pop to the Tesco next door. We were on the 3rd floor and no lift so got a lot of exercise. No parking on site but there is a car park 5 minutes walk away. Small shower room, no bath, nice toiletries. Bins emptied and bed made daily. No other daily cleaning though. Only problem was a very noisy guest next door that had a screaming argument in the early hours. Rather disturbing but not the fault of Hiding Space. No staff on site to sort it out though. All in all an enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again. "

More about Bath

Bath is steeped in enough history that it is now a World Heritage Site. As its name represents, the city is famous for its hot springs, leading the Romans to build a vast complex of baths that were rediscovered in the 18th century and subsequently helped put the city back on track as a luxury resort. A tour of the area will provide the history of Bath Spa and exhibits filled with archaeology. Bath Abbey is the last Gothic church in England, and the Royal Crescent is a magnificent site to behold. A number of museums can be visited for insight into the city’s history, and guided tours throughout the city or to the surrounding countryside are recommended. Cyclists can also enjoy Bath as the city provides beautiful scenery and challenging routes.
