Holiday Inn Belfast City Centre
Sandy Row Area,Belfast - View on map
"The Holiday is exactly what it advertised. Very new, modern and clean, the room was really impeccable with a great WiFi, television, coffee making facilities and the bathroom was exceptional for the price. The breakfast buffet was really well spread out and it’s an amazing way to start the day. Location is central enough for walking to major points and landmarks in the city although it might come across to some as bordering on a slightly “rough area” of Belfast. The only “false advertisement” from Agoda I would say was that the App mentioned “on site free parking” whereas we had to park our car in a public car park opposite the hotel and pay the £9 pounds for 24hours. This was subsidised by the hotel otherwise it’s £18 per day. All in a great experience and we will definitely choose the Holiday Inn for a future visit to Belfast. "

Traveler impressions of Belfast

More about Belfast

Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland, and has recently seen a surge in tourism, having recently been voted one of the best cities in the United Kingdom. For travelers arriving from other parts of the UK, arrival through George Best Belfast City Airport is a smart idea as the airport is located right by the city center and has beautiful views of central Belfast upon landing. International travelers are best served by Belfast International Airport, located just a short drive outside the city and surrounded by plenty of hotels and guesthouses.

The famous Titanic was built in Belfast, and the city has embraced this ship’s history, regardless of its tragic maiden voyage. Most visitors to Belfast will find themselves taking a Titanic Tour during a visit to Belfast. The museum alone is a huge attraction, built in the style of the front of the ship and featuring some impressive exhibits on the ship’s construction, as well stunning architectural touches such as a recreation of the famous grand staircase.

Ulster Folk Museum is one of the most popular attractions in Belfast. The large collection of folk art and the recreation of an old Irish town complete with a mini railway can take several hours, if not days, to fully explore. For folk art, history, and transportation history enthusiasts, this museum is at the top of the Belfast must-see list.
